In case it escaped you when glancing at your calendar this morning, today's date is 9/02/10. Yes, that's right, today is unofficially Beverly Hills Appreciation Day! And what better way to celebrate our favorite soapy teen drama, then by turning our gaze to the boys who've made us tune in every week? From original "Beverly Hills, 90210" cuties like Brandon Walsh (Jason Pristley) and Dylan McKay (Luke Perry) to the new generation's dreamboats like Liam Court (Matt Lanter) and Navid Shirazi (Michael Steger), it's almost (almost) too much hottness to take!
We definitely have our favorites around the Hollywood Crush offices, but we want to hear from you! Who's your favorite new or old Beverly Hills hottie? Cast your vote after the jump!
Toby Hemingway has managed to capture the attention of music lovers thanks to his starring role in Taylor Swift's "Mine" music video. The English towhead will certainly get us to the theater later this year thanks to his work in the darker, "Black Swan." For now, however, he's this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Press play on the video below to see more of Toby, and then keep reading for more details about him!
Vital Stats: 27-year-old Toby was born and raised in England until he turned 13, and then he and his mom (as well as his big brother) moved to California. After he graduated from high school, he studied drama in New York City at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. So, is he dating anyone these days? He's rumored to be seeing pop superstar and "Mine" co-star Taylor Swift. (Maybe he should ask former Hump Day Hottie Lucas Till for some advice!)
We can't help but wonder if movie studio execs have been unknowingly tapping our dreams with "Inception"-style voodoo, because the latest casting news out of Hollywood is just too good to be true: Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper will be starring in a movie together! Let me give you a minute to process that. Ryan. Bradley. Movie. Good.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two hunks will be starring in an untitled action-comedy, which "follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results." No word yet on who will play the patriarchs.
Before I begin discussing the results of Entertainment Weekly’s Sexy Beast bracket game, which chose the No. 1 hottest sci-fi/supernatural creature of all time via Internet voting, I just want to warn Team Edward members that you might want to click through to another post. You’re not going to be happy with these results.
After one month, 64 beasts and more than 1.5 million votes, the final matchup was between two very worthy contenders: Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) of "The Twilight Saga" (swoon) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) of "The Vampire Diaries" (double swoon). It’s kind of fitting that two vampires would be left standing, since this has kinda been their year (or two or three) and everything.
But still, such a dilemma. Whom to choose? Sparkly Edward or broody Damon? Well, remember: This is not an unbiased report, people.
We'll be honest, we don't usually need much provocation to write a story (or post a dreamy, dreamy picture) of "Star Trek" leading man Chris Pine, but today is an extra-special day seeing as it's the hottie's 30th birthday! So let's say it all together: Happy birthday, Chris!
The only small rain cloud threatening this otherwise sunny day is the realization I had a few minutes ago that we have to wait another TWO YEARS until Chris takes back the helm of the USS Enterprise as Captain James T. Kirk in the "Star Trek" sequel. If you want to mark the 2012 calendar you have yet to buy, the official release is June 29, 2012.
Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
One of our favorite blond hotties visited the set of "Glee" recently, and no we aren't talking about Britney Spears. "Beastly" star Alex Pettyfer took a trip to William McKinley High to visit his "I Am Number Four" costar and (gasp!) apparent girlfriend, Dianna Agron. Talk about art imitating life!
The two were spotted holding hands and shooting some hoops while taking a break from filming, but we're hoping Alex might have snuck into a couple of the shots of whatever episode of "Glee" the cast was working on! Maybe he could even be Quinn's new bf this season—Kurt's getting a man, and Quinn deserves some love too—and then we would have art imitating life imitating art. Only in Hollywood.
Unlike his alter ego Eric Northman, "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgård does, in fact, age. The hunky actor turns 34 today, and while we'd prefer to celebrate by taking him to a fancy dinner at the Red Lobster and sharing a romantic bubble bath, well, that's just not in the cards for this year. So instead, we will honor the auspicious day of Mr. Skarsgård's birth by counting the ways (34 in all!) that we love, adore and admire him. And if you're reading this, Alex, our offer of suds and seafood still stands if you don't have other plans.
Besides the fact that he's basically twinsies with Taylor Lautner, Chris Riggi will certainly leave "Twilight" fans and non-"Twilight" fans in stitches as the antithesis of the Jacob Black character, Jacob White, in this week's big release "Vampires Suck." We love a guy who can make us laugh (and who looks good without a shirt on), so Chris has the honor of being this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Press play on the video below to see more of Chris, and then keep reading for more details about him!
Vital Stats: The 24-year-old is a born-and-bred New Yorker, who will turn 25 this September. What better way to kick off another quarter of life than by being this week's Hump Day Hottie?
Who would have thought that one of the most "wait, what are they adapting?" movies to be announced in 2010 would end up with one of the most beautiful casts around? Not us, that's for sure.
Yesterday, it was announced that Brooklyn Decker would be joining the likes of Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and Rihanna in the upcoming board game adaptation "Battleship," and that got us thinking of other films — past and present — that have wowed us with their beautiful casts. Strange trend: the nerdier the film, the better an attractive ensemble it has.

Despite how incredibly awesome Sunday's episode of "True Blood" was, there has been one major element of the show missing this season that was built up too incredibly much last season. Where the hell is a — fantasized or not — Sookie and Eric hook up? In fact, at this point, we're so desperate that we would even take a little will-they/won't-they sexual tension to toy with our expectations.
Looks like the folks over at Rolling Stone were facing similar frustrations, but their solution was oh so much better than our boring complaints. They grabbed Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard to cover the September 2 issue of the mag (out on newsstands tomorrow), took their clothes, covered them in blood, and posed them in a more provocative position than we could have possibly dreamed of. Note that they even included a full-frontal of Alexander's beautiful abs.
