Rouse yourself from your turkey coma and limber up your clickers, y'all: 'Tis officially the season to find the perfect gift for the deserving people in your life. And to help you navigate the many, many options before you, here's the first installment of a gift guide pegged perfectly to all your favorite tropes and trends from this year's pop-cultural biggies.
First up: We all know a lady or two with DIY leanings, heavy hipster bangs and a shelf full of cult classic DVDs who yearns to be described, above all else, as "adorkable". And if you're looking for something with which to stuff the stocking of your own New Girl, here's our roundup.
FROM MTV STYLE: We're still waiting oh-so-patiently for the big release of "Spring Breakers," in which sweet little Selena Gomez plays a law-breaking party girl (and, per the actress herself, effectively negates our ability to attach the words "sweet" and "little" to her name ever again). But while the rest of us tap our toes for Selena's new movie, the lady in question isn't standing around with us; she's already cruising onward and upward in search of the next thing, as MTV Style reports that she's signed on for a brand new gig as spokesmodel for adidas NEO.
Selena is right on the heels of on-again off-again beau Justin Bieber with this project, as the pop star announced just last month that he had scored a position promoting the very same brand. Weird, right? But whether it's a couple's stunt that went slightly awry when the two decided to split, or just a really strange coincidence, we're psyched to see Selena's sporty side—not to mention her creative one, since she'll be designing her own collection as part of the partnership.

"Demure" is never a word we'd use to describe feisty actress Jennifer Lawrence—or her sexy style. The 22-year-old actress walked the red carpet in Beverly Hills last night for a special screening of her film "Silver Linings Playbook," and her sultry look will surely leave tongues wagging this morning.
Jennifer flaunted a black belted Christian Dior satin jacket paired with simple black pumps...and not much else.
Maybe we've watched too many rom-coms, but we can't help but imagine Jennifer as the plucky protagonist turning up at her boyfriend's door post-premiere to reveal that she's not wearing anything under this trench. (Lucky man that Nicholas Hoult is...)
Anyway! That's just our take on this daring dress. What do you think about Jennifer's frock? Vote in our poll after the jump!
Here at Hollywood Crush, we've got a proud Friday tradition of naming one fiercely fashionable individual to the position of Style Superstar: an honor we bestow on whichever lovely lady happened to put together the best look of the week. And things being what they are, our Style Superstar has only ever been a lady. UNTIL NOW.
Because let's be real, there was nothing—nothing!!!—in the closets of Hollywood's finest females this week that could compete with Robert Pattinson's emerald Gucci suit at the "Breaking Dawn -Part 2" premiere. I mean, that is a suit. A suit for the ages. A suit that may or may not have caused our underpants to burst into flames at the mere sight of it, it's so...so...SUITABLE. And though Rob already earned a style retrospective this week for his long-standing penchant for colorful menswear, this gallant green number in a teeny tiny houndstooth print deserved its own spotlight. With a light blue shirt, a skinny black tie and his creases all perfectly placed, the actor outshone even his lady costars' gorgeous gowns with manly panache. And he is, with our congratulations, this week's Style Superstar.
New York, London, Paris, Milan and...Forks? Yes, Twilighters. With all the cutting edge, jaw-dropping, iconic fashion that’s come out of "The Twilight Saga" over the last few years, both on and off screen, we’re officially declaring the Washington town a new fashion capital of the world. Let’s indulge our sartorial sides and take a look back at some of the best looks by the "Twilight" crew (both on and off screen).
The evolution of Kristen Stewart has definitely been one of the highlights of following the saga through five movies. From her awkward days in Converse and jeans to her screen siren look at Monday’s big "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" premiere, Kristen sure has come a long way. We saw hints of the stylishness that was to come in this color-blocked asymmetrical dress that she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of "Twilight." Skipping over the "New Moon" promotional tour (remember the remnants of her "Runaways" mullet? Yeah, we’d rather forget, too.), KStew's penchant for one-sleeved dresses while out shilling "Eclipse" suited her well. And of course, to close out the series in style, Kristen wowed us all this week in a stunning nude lace gown, flowing hair and red lips—clear evidence that this formerly introverted actress has truly blossomed in the spotlight.
Among the many things "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner has shed in the name of his alter-ego, shape-shifter Jacob Black:
-any lingering baby fat
-enough T-shirts to fill a bureau to brimming
-the majority of his inhibitions
But the item most noticeably absent from the actor's person following the franchise's first installment was the wig—that mangy hairpiece he was forced to wear during the lead up to his character's transformation into a lycanthrope. And there's clearly no love lost between the two co-stars.
"The wig, it was a very important co-star. Right now I'm not missing much," Taylor recalled recently to MTV News' Josh Horowitz. "There was hatred between both of us. It did not like me, I did not like it. Not fond memories."
Robert Pattinson, fine foxy gentleman, isn't just our favorite emo-sexy vampire boyfriend—he's also a style icon in his own right, walking the red carpet in fashionably masculine get-ups so sizzling that they put all other Hollywood men to shame. (That distant whimpering sound you hear is Ben Affleck, sobbing on the floor of his bathroom, wishing that he could look even half as dapper as the Pattz in well-tailored menswear.) And when it comes to making his mark on the celebrity style scene, there's nothing that sets Rob apart quite like his ability to pull off a colored suit—a look he's sported in a half dozen iterations, all by Gucci, since he first came on the radar as "The Twilight Saga"'s leading man back in 2008.
Burgundy, amber, slate blue; the actor's red-carpet appearances over the years have been a veritable rainbow of finery! Not to mention a standout choice in the sea of boring navies and grays favored by less-adventurous men.
And so it was that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner put on their prettiest party frocks and walked "The Twilight Saga" black carpet one final time, for last night's premiere of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre. And, as we've come to expect from the top trio, they did it in fine fashion.
But there was a twist! Surprisingly, the award for most stunning style went not to one of the lovely leading ladies but to dapper hottie Rob, who flaunted an emerald green Gucci suit with the aplomb of someone twice his age. Well done, sir. GF Kristen wasn't to be overlooked, though: She simply sparkled in her strapless, nude Zuhair Murad, which she topped off with soft curls and a blood-red lip. So Old Hollywood glam!
If anyone is reliable red-carpet fashion fodder it's "Twilight" starlet Kristen Stewart, who never seems to sport the same style twice. And, predictably, she left our tongues wagging after an appearance on Monday's "Tonight Show."
Check out a recap of Kristen Stewart's "Tonight Show" appearance, as well as Robert Pattinson's time on Jimmy Kimmel's couch!
Kristen flaunted a cap-sleeved, multi-colored Peter Pilotto frock unlike any we've seen on her before. Yes, the 22-year-old is no stranger to a bold print—she most recently wowed in a mid-length floral Zuhair Murad dress at the Toronto International Film Festival—but there's something much more whimsical and carefree about last night's look.
And while I love the eye-popping palette, I could do without the bib detail, which adds an air of Gladiator Rainbow Brite to the ensemble. But that's just me. What do you think, Crushers? Love it or leave it? Vote in our poll after the jump!
We already gave props to Lucy Hale during our rundown of the best out-and-out costumes worn by celebs during this Halloween Hallo-week, but clearly, the actress is on a roll: Not only did she win all of the awards as a frilly, furry, pink-tutu-wearing unicorn for trick-or-treating purposes, but she dazzled at last night's Country Music Awards with a look that would've spooked a less adventurous star.
Lucy's Moschino gown is a beautiful conflict of interests: drapey, cowl-necked white lace overlaid with a bold, dramatic splash of black sequins. It's a design that catches the eye, and the imagination (doesn't it look like the dress is transforming from the bodice out into a darker, shinier, sexier version of itself?)—and it offered a pitch-perfect wink to all things creepy-crawly on the day following Halloween. And with onyx drop earrings, lush curls and a luscious red pout, Lucy was Exhibit A for the sort of bold fashion statement that makes a true Style Superstar.
