The Olympic Games are a gold mine of ready-made, tension-filled, drama-laden narratives. The athletic rivalries, the pressure, the breakdowns, the tight tight Spandex..they all have us sitting on the edge of our seats for two weeks straight every two years. So it's not unrealistic to say that it's only a matter of time before the great Olympic stories of the 2012 London Games become fodder for Hollywood productions.

In fact, the Olympics action has already given us some ideas for potential movies, and some actors to star in them. Here are five that could turn out to be blockbusters.

"Two Men Enter, One Man Leaves: The Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte Story"
Starring Channing Tatum as Ryan Lochte and Benjamin Walker as Michael Phelps

Two swimming superstars. A fight for glory in the pool. Rippling abdominal muscles. It's an adventure ready made for the big screen. And while we do know that the whole Internet thinks Michael Phelps and John Krasinski are long-lost twins, we just can't see Jim from "The Office" as a natural fit for the role. Completely different type of goofy. Instead, we see "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter" star Benjamin Walker as Phelps. Benjamin proved himself as the lithe athletic type in his recent breakout role as the ax-wielding, vampire slaying 16th U.S. president, and he did it while wearing a prosthetic nose. So even if he doesn't totally resemble Michael, the wonders of modern prosthetics will take care of that. Let's just hope they're waterproof. Channing Tatum, on the other hand, is all we think about when we see Ryan. They have that same swagger, and the same hard (swoon!) body. The "Magic Mike" star is also a tremendous athlete in his own right, so it wouldn't be a stretch to see him dive into the pool.

They are two of the most whispered about roles in Hollywood...which is pretty much as it should be given the subject matter we're talking here.

We speak, of course, about the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the buzzed-about "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation and who will play them. Who has the perfect mix of inquisitive innocence to take on Anastasia? What leading man has a smirk charismatic enough to play a billionaire business mogul with a particularly kinky side?

The answer to me is obvious! It's Lily Collins for Anastasia and Chris Pine for Christian, all the way.

Oh, who will play Ana and Christian in the highly anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey" film currently in the works? Sure, some people are far too willing to disrobe and get it on in the film based on E.L. James' novel about the kinky romance between a naïve young woman and her hottie billionaire beau. (And, yes, we’re looking at you Ian Somerhalder!)

So, instead of giving "The Vampire Diaries" star anymore ink as a potential candidate to play Christian, I'm going to throw another actor’s name in the Red Room of Pain. And, in the process try and find him a lady love to call his own.

Without further ado, I nominate "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth and Ian's co-star/girlfriend Nina Dobrev!

It's day three of our Casting Christian and Ana feature, in which MTV News staffers reveal their actor picks for the steamy, blush-worthy flick "Fifty Shades of Grey." So far, we've picked a bloodsucking babe and some thesps with serious Oscar credentials, but today I am choosing two actors who've already expressed great interest in taking on these S&M roles.

My picks are none other than teen TV favorites Ian Somerhalder and Lucy Hale!

It's my turn in the (heh) Red Room of Pain today, as Hollywood Crush keeps on with the very important job of picking two favorite actors to serve as flogger and floggee in the hotly anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey." And while previous picks might have been done on the basis of sheer sexiness, I'm looking at a pair of talented thespians who promise to bring some serious street cred (like, Academy Award-winning street cred) to this sordid tale of sadomasochistic romance.

I'm making my case for Christian Bale and Anna Kendrick!

Next to "Catching Fire" Adonis Finnick Odair, the most anticipated casting announcement in Hollywood seems to be who will play lovers Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the big-screen adaptation of E.L. James' kinky novel "Fifty Shades of Grey." And for good reason. The roles call for two incredibly attractive actors who don't mind being incredibly naked. A lot.

It's the kind of saucy stuff speculation is made for, and Hollywood Crush is stepping into the storied Red Room of Pain, as each day this week a different MTV staffer will share her picks for the billionaire babe and the lady who loves him.

Today, I'm kicking things off with "True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgård and "Like Crazy" actress Felicity Jones!

Vampires? So over. Zombies? So almost-over. But witches! Ah, WITCHES: now there's a supernatural group that's due for its day in the sun, and it looks like Sony Pictures agrees.

Deadline reports that the studio is getting ready to move forward on a cinematic reboot of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," the magically-abled young lady who first cast her spell as a character in mid-century Archie comics but, who most of us know best as the titular gal played by Melissa Joan Hart (who rivaled the human stars of "Sesame Street" in her abilities to act convincingly opposite a talking puppet.)

Among the updates made to the new "Sabrina" film: a more romantic backstory (and, please God, some better visual effects) for the talking black cat, a superhero-style take on Sabrina herself and, of course, a brand-new teenage actress to take on the witchy starring role. (But tell us this: Will they include an '80s-style rap-off between a guy in pegged jeans and his spellbound crush? Because if not, WE WANT NO PART OF IT.) So, which leading lady might be best-suited to carry the broomstick when this film goes into production? We've got three promising picks!

"The Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire," won't be released until November 22, 2013 (why are they torturing us?), but eager fans are already imagining who should play characters like Finnick Odair—us included. Finnick is clearly the fan favorite, but what about District 7's Johanna Mason? She plays an equally important role in the second novel as well.

As Katniss Everdeen returns to District 12 to the warm embrace of her family and neighbors, the Capitol proves to be not as welcoming. Continually walking a thin line between disagreeing with their ruling methods and keeping her friends and family safe, Katniss—and the reader—are introduced to an army of new characters in an unexpected twist. The most "pure" of them, as Peeta calls her, is Johanna, which brings us back to the Hollywood Crush Casting Couch. Read after the jump to see our picks!
