Tis the season for love. Along with Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa and John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Carrie Underwood, 26, and her hockey player hunk Mike Fisher, 29, can now add themselves to the list of celebrities who rang wedding bells in 2009. We can confirm that the duo are now engaged (check out Carrie's ring)! "I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier," said a statement from Carrie's rep. "No wedding date has been set at this time."
According to the Ottawa Sun, Mike, who is centre for the Ottawa Senators, popped the question this weekend, and Carrie happily accepted the proposal. "It's true," he told the newspaper of the engagement suspicions. "We're both obviously excited and very happy."

Ladies, it’s official — Kevin Jonas is off the market. Kevin married his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, on Saturday (December 19) at the luxurious Oheka Castle on New York's Long Island. The couple didn’t let snowy conditions get in the way of their nuptials; instead, the pair embraced the Winter Wonderland and carried on with their lavish ceremony and reception as planned.
The fairy-tale-forest theme event was nothing short of magical, including 14-foot trees covered in hydrangeas and crystals designed to look like icicles all under heated white tents. Michael Russo, a celebrity event planner of Roses-n-Lollipops, told People, "Danielle looked like a princess. Kevin couldn't stop smiling." The bride wore a strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown, along with a silk-and-crystal flower in her hair — an homage to the flower she wore in her hair the day the pair met in 2007. Kevin and Danielle exchanged traditional wedding vows as well as bands they designed for one another from Jacob & Co.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Katy Perry may be kickin’ back with Robert Pattinson at Karaoke bars lately, but that doesn’t mean she’s leaving boyfriend Russell Brand in the dust. Katy and Rusty were hand-in-hand when they were seen leaving his London flat on earlier today. Docked out in lavish aviator sunglasses and bundled up in their winter jackets, they looked quite toasty. Things between them have been taken to the next level lately, with rumors that Russell bought Katy a mansion and, uh, supposedly proposed (the latter of which, we won't believe until we see proof). Russell’s always been unpredictable and you never know what he’s going to do next. His "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" spin-off entitled "Get Him to the Greek" hits theaters next summer.
To get a better look at Katy and Russell's hang out session, click on the photo above! After the jump, find out what other couple we caught out on a wintery day.
Lucas Till and Taylor Swift appeared in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" together before sharing a juicy kiss in Taylor's VMA-winning video, "You Belong with Me." Little did we all know then: the two teen stars had, in fact, taken their onscreen romance to the next level and dated for a bit.
Lucas told MTV News, while chatting with us about his upcoming flick, "Battle: Los Angeles," that he really liked the singer, but the relationship lacked a certain something for the pair to keep the real life love alive.

Notorious serial dater John Mayer is making a new resolution for 2010 (apparently besides not wearing anymore ugly sweaters): he’s taking himself off the market. In an appearance on the "Ellen Degeneres Show," airing today (12/15), John talks about his current views on dating. He admits, “Yeah, I'm a little freaked out about dating. So, I'm just going to let time pass and just do my thing.”
When asked about his past relationships, which have included Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Anniston, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, to name a few, John is candid in his response. "I'm not dating. I don't know if you know this, I have sort of a funny track record. Which is actually not that strange given my age. I'm a little freaked out right now about it, to be honest.”
Emily Blunt, consider yourself the luckiest bride alive. A few weeks ago People magazine dubbed her soon-to-be hubby, "The Office" hottie John Krasinski as "The Sexiest Groom Alive." While we here at Hollywood Crush would say "I do" to the good-looking groom in a heartbeat, John himself (who has been out promoting his role in the upcoming comedy "It's Complicated") finds the title to be rather dubious. The actor, who also recently told us his wedding on "The Office" is helping him prep for his own big day, talked to MTV News about the premature accolade, noting, "I'm not even a groom yet!" and then jokingly teased, "This isn't my wedding day ...or is it?!"
John also admitted that he had no idea that the magazine would declare him "Sexiest Groom" and that he felt like he was taking a more deserving dude's spot on the list (we beg to differ!). But, it seemed like it was the official 2009 Sexiest Man Alive, Johnny Depp that made him feel the most uneasy. The actor pondered, "When Johnny Depp is on the cover, shouldn't it just be a one-page magazine?"
Let's face facts, only John Krasinski could joke about his upcoming nuptials as "boring" and still have it come off as sweet and endearing (well maybe to us moreso than his bride-to-be, actress Emily Blunt, anyway!) It turns out the fictional, albeit very long awaited, wedding between Jim and Pam on "The Office" is actually helping John prep for his own wedding day.
In an interview with MTV News for his upcoming movie "It's Complicated," the oh-so-cute John said that he's "oddly, not nervous at all" about the big day (also adding, "I'm really excited!"), thanks in part to that very episode (hmmm, do we sense a boat ride at Niagara Falls in John and Emily's future, too? A Dunder-Mifflin-esque dance to Chris Brown's "Forever?") Of course, "The Office" isn't the first time the actor has taken a fake walk down the aisle (he also starred alongside Mandy Moore and Robin Williams in the 2007 wedding caper "Licensed to Wed"), joking that, "It's old hat to me now!" But, unlike those flicks, he credits "The Office" wedding for allowing him to do a "dry run" of the rehearsal dinner. Let's just hope his real one isn't nearly as awkward as poor Jim's was!

Carrie Underwood is probably more insightful than most 26-year-olds, and she’s sharing her life lessons in the latest issue of Esquire magazine. The country-turned-pop princess has experienced her share of heartbreak, love, luck and success, and she’s dishing it all in a very candid interview.
As for her thoughts on her career, Carrie recalls her early days: “I was so nervous when I was on my way to L.A. I'd never been on a plane, and I was going alone. I kind of got teary-eyed. My dad was driving, and he said, 'If you want to go home, we can go home, and you never have to think about this again.' And I thought, If I don't go, I'm choosing for this not to happen. It will be my choice. So I figured it would be easier for me to get kicked off 'American Idol' than to have it be my own decision.”
The latest Jessica Simpson dating rumor is just plain kind of wacky. No, she's not back together with Tony Romo, John Mayer or even Nick Lachey. There's rumors floating around the internet that the pop star and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan are kind of into one another.
E! News reported that Jess is "smitten" with Billy, but that her friends think he's too old for her. (He's 42, she's 29.) "He's just another in an endless string of Jessica's boyfriends," a source told the website. "They think he's too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They're sick of all of them being 'the one.' "
Although reps have yet to confirm the pairing, we've found photos (like the one above) of the pair leaving a New York City hotel together. Billy's was walking a few steps behind her in the pic, but he is clearly apart of the entourage.
This latest starlet/rock star coupling, got us thinking about what other couples have us going, really? Check out our list after the jump!
Even though Miley Cyrus was recently seen sporting a Jonas Brothers t-shirt, that doesn't mean that the singer is back together with her superstar ex, Nick Jonas. Nick confirmed the two are just friends these days. And, in case you're wondering, Nick has been living the laid back lifestyle when it comes to romance. So, that means when he sings he's looking for love on his new single, "Who I Am," the boy is singing the truth.
"Just friends with Miley and just friends with [dancer] Courtney Galliano," Nick told Ryan Seacrest last week. "And I think that right now it's all about the music for me."
