This week, a slew of interesting rumored romances hit the gossip pages and Internet faster than you could say "no way!" Though some seemed like they could be real, a few there left us scratching our heads. So, we decided to round them up and figure out who is heating up and who aren't even lukewarm.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato

Kicking things off is Joe and Demi, who were recently seen dining with Kevin Jonas and his fiancé Danielle Deleasa. As soon as these two stepped out, everyone immediately assumed it was a date. But, we think it was just dinner. They've been friends for a while, plus he might be dating Brenda Song, and Demi might be seeing a better looking version of her former flame Trace Cyrus.

Zac Efron Shares Dating Advice And His Personal Taste In Music In Nylon Footage

During his recent cover story on Nylon Guys, Zac Efron talked about his upcoming films, “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” and “Me and Orson Welles,” as well as dealing with “High School Musical” fame. In the video footage of the shoot, Zac talked less about his work and more about who he is as a person.

“Cassandra, from ‘Wayne’s World.’ Tia Carrere. That was my celebrity crush growing up,” Zac admitted, after sharing how star struck he was over meeting Jim Carrey for the first time.

Jennifer Aniston And John Mayer Supposedly Back Together

It has been a long, windy road for Jennifer Aniston ever since she got a divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005. She’s has been around the block a few times, but now Us Weekly is reporting that it seems as though she’s finally settled down with John Mayer ... again. Amidst speculation, perhaps Jen decided she had been burnt one too many times.

Their relationship originally started in April 2008 and they split twice, finally ending their one year rapport in March 2009. Jen then spent all summer reportedly being wooed by Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler. Gerard called the rumors that he was dating Jen — while the two made the movie "The Bounty Hunter" — "ridiculous," adding to People that, "I'm trying to make movies, work hard and do my best. Then this kind of thing happens and people start to associate me more with that."

If Pete Wentz Were To Create His Own Country (Ala Sealand), Wife Ashlee Could Film 'Melrose Place' There

We all know that these days, Fall Out Boy is taking some much needed time off. And, as Pete Wentz told us he'd definitely consider coming out of retirement if Sealand calls. (Sealand, by the way, is a sovereign principality founded on an abandoned British sea fort in 1967 by radio broadcaster and British Army Major Paddy Roy Bates.) Right now however, that much discussed gig is still up in the air.

"We got an email back where he's not on Sealand right now. He was on the beaches of South France basking in the sun was open to the possibility of it," he said of Bates. "That's the one thing — the one concert that Fall Out Boy could possibly play this year if we had a chance to play Sealand."

But the real news is what he shared next. So this whole idea of starting your own country made us wonder if Pete would be down to start his own. The answer is an enthusiastic YES. He said, "F*** yeah dude. Island powered by electric eels, Brando style dude. It's going to be crazy there, dude. You don’t even know."

George Clooney Buys His GF, Elisabetta, A Diamond-- Do We Hear Wedding Bells?

Is notorious bachelor George Clooney finally settling down? According to In Touch, Clooney recently bought his girlfriend, Italian TV personality Elisabetta Canalis, a diamond ring to show off his commitment. “It's not an engagement ring — but it is a sign they're getting serious," reports the mag. At the time of his relationship with waitress Sarah Larson, Clooney said he would “never marry.” Oh, have the tides changed! This bling comes not long after the duo moved in together into his California home.

It’s been sixteen years since Clooney ended a tumultuous marriage with Talia Balsam and many people assumed the man about town would never tie the knot again. He’s had one, two, possibly even three girlfriends at a time in recent years and he’s been fairly modest when asked about his relationships with women. In early 2009 there was speculation that he was indeed dating yet another waitress Lucy Wolvert as well as Fatima Bhutto, the granddaughter of a former Pakistan Prime Minister.

Katy Perry And Russell Brand: We're Giving Ourselves (And The VMAs) A Little Credit For This Love Match

As we noted earlier today in our "Rumor Patrol" feature, it seems Katy Perry may have found herself a man to wake up in Vegas with. The pop tart and funny guy Russell Brand have been seen gallivanting around the City of Lights and attending Parisian fashion shows.

On Tuesday, they were spotted at the Fendi show together, and then they made their possible romantic entanglement very known — by holding hands and/or sitting thisclose — the next day during Galliano's runway (check out all of the photographic evidence). But did this relationship just come out of of the clear blue sky? Probably not. In fact, all of us here at MTV News are starting to think we should nickname ourselves cupid. You see, Katy serenaded Russell with a cover of Queen's "We Will Rock You" during the opening of last month's Video Music Awards. "Hannah Montana" herself Miley Cyrus deleted her popular Twitter account today. Following the tweet, "FYI Liam doesn't have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason," @MileyCyrus disappeared from the micro-blogging site, along with @MommyTish, the Twitter handle used by her mom.

Miley's near two million followers have been vocal about the Disney star deleting her account, posting Tweets like "!!! nooo!!! she can't delete her twitter!!!! twitter IS miley cyrus!!" and "I can not believe that Miley Cyrus deleted her twitter account." In fact, #mileycomeback is the top trending topic on Twitter right now.

There are several curious and dubious rumors floating around the Internets this week. So, we here at Hollywood Crush decided to find out if there's any truth to some of this buzz: Are Russell Brand and Katy Perry an item? Is Taylor Swift starting a clothing line in London? And finally Is Lady Gaga really going to be on "Gossip Girl"?

First up, we haven't been able to debunk or verify this to be true (yet!), but according to multiple reports out there Katy Perry and Russell Brand are dating. It may very well be one of the worst kept secrets around, but it's still sort of a secret since neither Dev Patel nor his real life love and "Slumdog Millionaire" costar, Freida Pinto, are really open to talking about. So, we guess it's a good thing that Dev's "The Last Airbender" co-star, Aasif Mandvi, is willing to spill the beans. Without friends, how else would get all those juicy relationship details about the pair?

"Yeah well that's pretty much out in the open," he told MTV News about the couple at the "Hamlet" red carpet in NYC. "I gave him dating advice. I was like, 'You need to start dating uglier women!' He dates really attractive women and I was like, 'you can get three ugly women for one really attractive woman like that.'"

So, whose name is Disney star Selena Gomez writing in heart bubbles on her notebooks lately? Apparently, it's singer Jason Mraz.

The "Wizard's of Waverly Place" star got that dreamy look in her eyes as she spoke to MTV News about watching Jason perform on stage.

"He is very talented musically and lyrically," she said, or perhaps, more accurately, gushed. "I went to his concert and it was just him and a guitar on a stage, and I was, like…my jaw was open the entire time." OK, we admit, watching Jason standing on a stage with a guitar would probably cause our jaws to open, too.

It led her to one simple conclusion: "He is beautiful." We hear ya, Selena!
