While there's no shortage of on-screen pairs that spark post-project relationships, some just tend to melt our hearts a little more than others.

A couple of years ago, we asked if Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were the new Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, as both adorable relationships shared some striking similarities. But Hollywood is always about the next best thing, and with The Amazing Spider-Man swinging into theaters tomorrow, we can't help but think about where on-screen-turned-off-screen super duo Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield fit among the pretty-young-thing pairings.

Ashley GreeneWho's that girl on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine? It's Ashley Greene! The actress who captured our attention (and inspired many a brand-new haircut) with her turn as the chic psychic sister to Edward Cullen is sporting her natural long locks, some trendy pink denim and a floral crop-top as the magazine's August cover girl. And inside, Ashley opens up about personal priorities, professional ambitions and her next move now that "The Twilight Saga" is just about dunzo.

And in case you've been wondering, that move will not be in the direction of an altar—despite the fairly long-term romance between the actress and Broadway boyfriend Reeve Carney.

"I'm not one of those girls who sits at home thinking, 'By 25, I have to be married,'" Ashley explained. "Right now, I’m like, 'I’m 25, I need to book my next movie!'"

Little-known fun fact: "The Amazing Spider-Man" isn't just a triumph of action cinema, a special-effects laden visual wow-fest, a super-hero flick of epic proportions. It's also a very nifty handbook for the trials and tribulations of the New York City dating scene. Which is why, when MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down for an After Hours chat with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, he got all the dirty details from them on how to spide-ify your love life. Beginning, of course, with gaining entry to your crush's abode by lurking on the fire escape.

"I felt sexy doing that!" Andrew exclaimed. "I felt that was better than the front door."

And Emma, who's Andrew's girlfriend both on-screen and off, agreed; after growing up on classic Nickelodeon show "Clarissa Explains It All," she's a wholehearted proponent of the hi-I'm-at-your-window approach to friendship pioneered by Clarissa's friend Sam.

Another Hollywood couple is calling it quits.

Much like "Awkward" leading lady, Jenna, we too have a hard time picking between Matty and Jake. Both guys are super attractive and bring their own je ne sais quoi to the table, which keeps us tuning into the hilarious MTV comedy week after week. So, in honor of the antics set to go down in season two—many of which are Matty and Jake related—we are naming Beau Mirchoff and Brett Davern this week’s Hump Day Hotties.

Check out this dreamy video of Beau and Brett talking pick-up lines, and keep reading for more details about them!

Vital stats: Well, Beau was born in Seattle but grew up in Canada. He went into acting at the urging of his sister. Meanwhile, Brett is a fellow Washington native who studied acting at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

And in case you’re wondering if they have any game when it comes to picking up ladies, you might want to check out their hysterical, albeit not-all-that-convincing pick-up lines they used when they stopped by the MTV Newsroom ahead recently. It was, um, awkward.

Forget the L.A. club scene or New York City streets; on Saturday night, the best place to spot young Hollywood's finest was Englewood, New Jersey! A roll call of A-list celebs—including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and Zac Efron—all made their way to the Garden State this weekend as guests at the wedding of Hollywood producer Kevin Turen and actress Evelina Oboza. (In other words, don't go road-tripping out to the Jerz in the hopes of doing some star-spotting; this was a one-time deal.)

According to the report from People, all stars in attendance kept it classy and stayed off the radar, leaving the spotlight to the bride and groom (although Robert was spotted taking a turn as DJ, and Zac hit the dance floor when it came time to hora!).

Apparently our fickle Celebrity Romance Overlords can manage only one Cyrus engagement at a time.

Hot on the heels of news Miley and her "Last Song" co-star Liam Hemsworth were headed to the altar comes word that bro Trace and his fiancee, "Social Network" actress Brenda Song, have called off their nuptials.

"Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways," Trace said in a statement to Just Jared Jr. "We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers. I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation. Thanks so much."

Miley Cyrus and Liam HemsworthIf you're a fan of "The Hunger Games," you know that one of the more enduring mysteries of the literary trilogy is the romantic fate of Gale—the one-time crush of Katniss with whom (SPOILER ALERT!) she eventually declines to settle down, because life is too short to spend with a brooding and murderous guy who doesn't bake. But whatever becomes of Gale the Character, at least we know that the actor who plays him is getting a nice, sparkly, happily-ever-after with the girl of his dreams!

Yep, it's true: People has an exclusive confirmation this morning that Liam Hemsworth is now engaged to longtime girlfriend Miley Cyrus, who began dating back in 2009 when they starred together in "The Last Song."
