That trio of stars (do we even need to mention their names? Well, fine... if we must: Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson [insert sounds of screaming fans here]) you've been eagerly waiting for to make an appearance at Comic-Con have arrived! The photo below was taken at the "New Moon" press conference in San Diego earlier today. The press conference, of course, is not to be mistaken for the "New Moon" panel, however, which begins in just an hour.

Before you click on the photo flipbook below (to view even more "Twilight" and Comic-Con goodies) make sure to check out our most recent report from the madness that is the line forming outside the hall where the panel will take place. We'll have an update on the press conference soon as well. Quite possibly just as fast as you can utter the words "Be safe."

Line inside Comic-ConBy Vaneta Rogers

I'm among the more than 6,000 people walking into Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, many of them screaming as soon as they get in the door in anticipation of today's "New Moon" panel with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and other cast and crew.

It's like we won the lottery and this is our prize.

Everyone's jockeying for the best seats possible to catch a glimpse of all the vampires and werewolves as the panel begins at 1:45 p.m. In the meantime, there are other panels to enjoy, including the Disney 3-D panel that was supposed to start at 11:00 a.m., although it's being delayed by all the efforts to keep things secure and avoid any problems with the throngs of fans filing into the hall. Twilight Burger King hats Tens of thousands of Twilighters at the San Diego Comic-Con this morning were greeted by Burger King representatives, strategically placed outside events promoting the franchise. The BK reps handed out paper folding "crowns" — a long-time trademark of the hamburger franchise.

But instead of featuring the King himself, the crowns featured the likenesses of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and others.

MTV can confirm that Burger King will be featured in the "New Moon" film via product placement, with its food products being consumed by the movie's stars — well, at least, those of them that can eat human food. Read More...

New Moon fans at Comic Con

By Vaneta Rogers

Several thousand people are now waiting in line outside San Diego Comic-Con to get into the "New Moon" panel, where we're expecting Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and other cast members to introduce new footage from the film.

Some groups have erupted into cheering, and rumors keep spreading through the crowd about what stars are coming and who's showing up when. All the tents and sleeping bags are put away and most of the fans are standing up, sharing stories of dedication, comparing how long they've been here — some having been in their spot for two nights. From InStyle/Nordstrom Yesterday we took a look at some brave Twilighters who expressed their love for the vampire saga in indelible ink. But if you're not ready for something quite so permanent, there is a dazzling alternative. Twilight clothing! (And we're not talking about the gothy black threads at Hot Topic.)

Nordstrom is launching a "Twilight Saga: New Moon" clothing line that will debut in the department store come October, reports InStyle. The collection (view InStyle's gallery of select items here) features a variety of graphic tees with messages like "Bet You Can't Read My Mind," "Forks High School," and of course "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob" (why can't we all just get along?). You'll also find jewelry (like a Cullen crest necklace), jackets and dresses. Read More...

New Moon at Comic-ConGreetings from San Diego, Twilighters! Your MTV Movies team has hit the ground running — and naturally, one of our first stops during Wednesday’s Comic-Con preview night was the Summit booth, home to the next “Twilight” movie.

Now, you might remember that last year’s booth was a bit — how shall we put this? — ; ess than eye-dazzling. It was Summit Entertainment’s first year at the world’s biggest comic convention, few outside the fandom had heard of “Twilight,” and the biggest attraction they had was a cardboard cut-out of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, available for photos. Gerard ButlerI think it’s safe to say that nowhere on Earth could Gerard Butler be considered an ugly man. The Scottish heartthrob has been steadily working his way into the spotlight for years with roles in “Timeline” and “The Phantom of the Opera.”  But it was his role as the ripped and skimpily clad King Leonidas in “300” that really made everyone sit up and pay attention. Since “300” he’s embraced his romantic side and opted to make girls cry in “P.S. I Love You,” and wince with “The Ugly Truth.”

While Gerard Butler is the perfect heartthrob we all dream about, his “Ugly Truth” character Mike Chadway is the one we usually meet in real life. In order to balance the scales, and bring the hunky Scot back down to earth, after the jump, we look back on his ugliest roles to date: Read More...
