It's no secret "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester has been nurturing a bit of a music career on the side when not ruthlessly ruling Manhattan's Upper East Side as rich girl Blair Waldorf. If you missed her pop singles "Somebody To Love" or "Your Love's A Drug" (or for that matter, her peppy cameo on Cobra Starship's "Good Girls Go Bad"), don't fret. In her upcoming film "Country Strong" (out in limited release December 22 and going wide January 7), Leighton lets out her inner Carrie Underwood as country music darling Chiles Stanton. Hollywood Crush was lucky enough to score the exclusive premiere of her "Summer Girl" music video, costarring Gwyneth Paltrow, Garrett Hedlund and Tim McGraw, and it's pretty adorable. Watch below!

We can't help but notice how cute Leighton looks in her white, ruffled mini dress and her red boots, busting out the playful country jam. The video also gives us one of our first substantial looks at the romance between Chiles and Garrett's Beau. There she is playing with his hair! There he is admiring her on stage! There they are rough-housing in the backseat during a roadtrip! Previous trailers emphasized the (maybe?) budding relationship between Beau and Gwyneth's troubled Kelly Canter (do we smell a love triangle? love quadrangle?), so it's nice to see Leighton shine here.

Before we exchange gifts, drop the ball and get dizzy on year-end champagne, MTV News celebrates the best of this year by giving a big, sloppy smooch to our very favorite people of 2010. So today, we're announcing our Woman and Man of the Year! And gird your loins, because the results are gonna shock you.

...Okay, no they're not. Because this year's Woman and Man of the Year blew the competition out of the water, and everybody knows it—which is why this year's honors go to...

Woman of the Year: Lady Gaga
You couldn't get away from Gaga in 2010—not that you'd want to! The performance artist, activist, and fashion icon blew our minds with her incredible videos for "Telephone" and "Alejandro," earned a record-breaking 13 nominations at the VMAs, topped one billion views on her YouTube channel, won a Billboard award for Artist of the Year and rocked the red carpet in a dress made out of meat. She also campaigned against bullying, spoke out for gay rights and joined with Cyndi Lauper to raise AIDS awareness. And she's so unstoppable, we wouldn't be surprised if she was a major contender to score this honor again in 2011. Check out our full-length Lady Gaga tribute at MTV News!

The Grammy Nominations concert took center stage Wednesday night in Los Angeles, meaning some of music's biggest stars turned up to perform and find out how many trophies they will battle it out for when the Grammys take place in February. While we bet they'll all sparkle at the big show, they weren't looking too shabby at last night's concert either.

Katy Perry learned that she is up for four Grammy Awards and already looked like a winner in her two looks of the night. She dazzled in an off-the-shoulder gold dress on the red carpet and then took the stage in a micro-mini silver ballerina dress, complete with a spiked snowflake hat.

As if you needed any more encouragement to listen to the "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" soundtrack over and over and over again, the album has just been honored with a Grammy nod! For the second year in a row, a "Twilight Saga" soundtrack has received a nomination for "Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or other Visual Media." ("Twilight" lost out last year to "Slumdog Millionaire.") Could this be "Twilight"'s big year at the Grammys? Not if "Glee" has anything to sing about it. They're nominated too!

Considering "Glee" is in its second season, it's a little weird to think that this is their first time being nominated. Because of the early eligibility deadline (an album needed to be released between Sept. 1, 2009 and Sept. 30, 2010, to be considered), "Glee: The Music, Volume 1" is only just being acknowledged. And a soundtrack for a show that's all about music definitely has the edge over "Eclipse."

GleeBetter update those passports, Gleeks. "Glee" is heading overseas! Just as we were treated to an amazing live (not to mention, sold-out) tour stateside, European fans will finally get to see the cast do their thing up close and personal. Anna Kendrick goes by many monikers: "Twilight" star, Oscar-nominated actress, red carpet stunner, and now she can add one more: video vixen. Anna teamed with "Training Day" writer David Ayer for the new "Supervideo," which utilizes LCD Soundsystem's song "Pow Wow" as the narrative inspiration.

Anna plays a mysterious woman who, along with her entourage of lawyers and bodyguards, travels through the underworld of L.A. to capture the souls of notorious villains. However, Anna isn't quite what she appears to be. (Perhaps there are some supernatural powers involved...just sayin')

The video is striking and otherworldly, and we were lucky enough to snag some behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot. Click on the pic above to view our entire flipbook of Anna images (stunning outfits included!). And, obvi, don't forget to check out the video too!

What do you think of Anna and LCD Soundsystem's "Supervideo"?

Robert PattinsonWho would ever have the gall to turn down a record deal proffered by star-maker Simon Cowell? Well, according to internet rumors, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, that's who. A story today in the British newspaper The Sun claims Rob turned down an offer from the former "American Idol" judge saying, "I play according to my mood, and sometimes that can come across as very depressing in music. He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that's why I don't think he could ever launch my music career." However, when MTV News reached out to Robert's management for comment, we were told there was no truth to this story. It's just "another headline generated by the internet," his manager wrote in an email.

It's not surprising rumors of a record deal would follow Robert. After all, he did score two songs in the first "Twilight" movie, "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign," and played a fledgling band boy in "How to Be." However, the actor has always been a bit evasive about a potential music career, telling the L.A. Times in 2008, "Music is my backup plan if acting fails. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket." With the success of "The Twilight Saga" and upcoming turns in "Water for Elephants" and "Bel Ami," it doesn't look like Rob will have to sing for alms any time soon.

Do you hope Robert will one day pursue a music career?

Justin BieberElizabeth Lancaster

If your favorite part of the new "Karate Kid" was Justin Bieber's ballad "Never Say Never," then the title of his upcoming 3-D flick is going to leave you singing... Cause it's the same thing! After sending fans on a two-day internet scavenger hunt, piecing parts of the one-sheet together, Justin revealed the full movie poster at midnight via USA Today.

Justin looks pensive and philosophical in a profile shot, wearing his classic letterman jacket (this time with a few rhinestones) and his hair casually swept to the side. A tagline instructs fans to, "B a part of it." Somehow, we don't think an invitation is necessary.

Who wants to bet his first single will be called "Vampire Sweetheart"? After months of speculation, E! Online has confirmed that Joe Jonas will be following in the footsteps of younger bro Nick, as he plans to release a solo album sometime in 2011. Who would have thought the singer had any time to pen tunes with all that Ashley Greene lovin' going on?

E! Online spoke to a source at Hollywood Records who said Joe is working with "various writers and producers on music," adding, he "wants a more dangerous sound," much like a "sexier, Justin Timberlake" vibe.

In fact, it sounds like Joe will be changing his look to match his new sound, eschewing the band's dapper suit-and-tie ensembles for a rougher T-shirt and leather jacket look.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

New York City's Lower East Side got a special treat Sunday when Rihanna filmed her new music video for "What's My Name?" We're not quite sure what look she was going for with her nude tights, colorful short-shorts, black corset and zebra-striped jacket, but she's definitely decided on her bright red hair and is sticking with it.

We saw the new look for the first time at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month, and it divided fans. Some of you loved it, and others memorably compared it to the Mozilla Firefox logo. Maybe she is just keeping it around for her music video, but we have a feeling this is the look Rihanna is going to be wearing for a while.

Click on the photo above to see the full, head-to-toe look and who else MTV Spotted!, including Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino showing off his "situation" at a Men's Fitness photoshoot and Lindsay Lohan at the Ana de Costa jewelry show.
