Hollywood Crush has moved! come with us to mtv news »

NylonTo observers, "Perks of Being a Wallflower" star Emma Watson has lived one charmed life. The star of everyone's favorite magical series has transformed—near seamlessly—from child star to adult entertainer, all the while remaining grounded and DUI-free. Yet, living your teen years in the spotlight comes with its own set of woes, which Emma detailed in the October issue of Nylon magazine (whose cover she shares with "Perks" co-stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller).

"I've done my life backwards; it's really bizarre," Emma mused. "Most of my friends are just about to start working, and I've had a job for the past 10 years. It's strange, because most people spend that decade figuring themselves out and figuring out what they like and what they don't like—just making mistakes in the privacy of their own teenage bedrooms. And I am kind of doing everything in a different way, so sometimes it's a bit isolating."

Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be in all the movies this year (see: "The Dark Knight Rises," "Premium Rush," "Looper," "Lincoln"), but we'll never (NEVER!!!!) tire of staring at that boyish grin.

The gals at Glamour magazine totally get us, because they've tapped the 31-year-old actor for a date-night fashion spread featured in their October issue. Now, frankly, we'd never turn down a dinner date with JGL—even if he showed up clad in a pair of Hello Kitty footsie pajamas—so the fact that he so finely fills out these suits is really just a bonus.

Before the drool pools on our keyboard, let us just say, click on over to Glamour.com to see the full feature and read Joseph's interview in which he talks about playing Bruce Willis' younger self and getting buff for his next role!

Today's most enviable back-to-school look that we'd never be actually brave enough to wear in a classroom? It belongs to Nina Dobrev, who's on the cover of Seventeen's October issue—and, in the accompanying photo shoot, out in a sunny field wearing some seriously daring fall fashions. Nina sports soft knits, structured leather and super-high stiletto heels in her playful pics and offers up some gossip-worthy insights on her fashion sense and her relationships with her "Vampire Diaries" co-stars... yes, including that one.

Among the interesting tidbits from Nina's interview: a confession that our favorite fashionista doesn't keep up with the online commentary about her outfits.

Emma Watson has gone from Hogwarts student to all-out style icon since we all said avada kedavra to the "Harry Potter" franchise last summer—and though it seemed up in the air at first whether the artist formerly known as Hermione would keep up her acting career, it looks like she's officially committed to keeping herself on the Hollywood radar... starting with next month's cover of Glamour! Emma is sporting a sleek bob and a Mona Lisa smile on the front of the magazine, where she's appearing to promote her upcoming role in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." And inside, she's opening up about her future plans, her current haircut and her prickly past issues with keeping things private.

But first, about that hair: We loved Emma's daring pixie cut, and it's nice to hear that we're not the only ones! Turns out, the actress is also sad not to have her short hair anymore, and not just 'cause of the awkwardness of growing it out.

If you're wondering where to next catch a glimpse of Kristen Stewart in print, try checking out one of your higher-end newsstands next month: The actress has snagged the coveted role of cover girl for British Vogue, where she's getting the full glamour treatment (those lips! that dress!) and offering up some timely insights on how much she doesn't have it together for a life in the public eye. (Among the statements that ring especially true in light of the field day the media had with her breakup last month: "I'm not that smooth.")

But while we're psyched to see Kristen in the spotlight across the pond—and her sultry cover look is definitely a new favorite—we can't help waxing a little nostalgic for some of her previous stints as a cover girl. Our favorites?

Of all the body parts to gush over, we're not sure Ryan Gosling's brain would be our No. 1 pick, but then again, we're not privy to his gray matter quite like frequent co-star Emma Stone.

The actress, with slicked-back tresses and cheekbones for miles, covers the September issue of Interview, and inside, she opens up to director Cameron Crowe about working with the sexiest man alive (in our hearts if not in the pages of People magazine) and the immediate kinship the two shared

If you've seen the 2011 romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love," you know the actors have an easy, engaging chemistry—a connection that gets special play in a pillow talk scene that's tender and sweet and pretty much everything we'd hope a few hours of pillow talk with Ryan Gosling would be like. And as it turns out, the moment felt so effortless because it mostly was.

When a woman once known the world over simply as "Posh" handpicks you to pose for Glamour magazine, you don't say no. Such is the plum position actress Lily Collins finds herself in, thanks to former Spice Girl (and Glamour guest editor) Victoria Beckham.

We declared the 23-year-old part of our New Class of on-the-rise young actors last year, and with performances in "Abduction" and "Mirror Mirror," Hollywood is definitely taking note. Next week, the beauty will begin filming on one of our most-anticipated adaptations: Cassandra Clare's "Mortal Instruments" novel "City of Bones," which also stars Jamie Campbell Bower and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but in the meantime, we'll just gawk at this beautiful spread of Lily in the September issue.

Can you think of a better newsstand home for the adventurously stylish Nina Dobrev than on the cover of a magazine called Fashion? Neither can we! So it's terrific to see her looking perfectly in place on the front of their September issue, where she posed for a photoshoot wearing some typically bold and beautiful outfits that ordinary humans couldn't pull off even in their wildest dreams (that suit she's sporting on the cover? So fabulous, and SO not fair).

And inside, she's talking candidly about her on-set wardrobe, her relationship with Ian Somerhalder and how her role on "The Vampire Diaries" has prepared her for what—and whatever—comes next.

According to Nina, fashion isn't just something she enjoys playing with in her personal life; it's also a source of professional inspiration.

Esquire's new shortlist of up-and-coming young men with major movie-star potential made us look twice—and not just because it's round, firm and fully-packed with six extremely ogle-worthy hotties. Because while the guys featured all have good looks, great style and mad acting skills, a full 50 percent of them have another something special in common: They've been considered for the all-important and probably iconic role of "Hunger Games" heartthrob Finnick Odair. And hmmmmm, isn't that interesting?

Although they're likely not in the running anymore (insert obligatory grumbling about how long the casting is taking), Esquire featurees Garrett Hedlund, Armie Hammer, and Taylor Kitsch have all been named at one point or another as contenders to play the District 4 tribute. And while we're not saying that the good folks at Esquire have been tracking the "Finnick" tag on tumblr in search of a few fine fellows to showcase in this article...well, we're not saying they weren't, either. Because they obviously did. Maybe.

Miley Cyrus is Marie Claire's new September cover girl, and if you weren't sure whether or not the newly engaged pop star is leaving behind her Disney image for good, the first f-bomb she drops in her interview (just one of many, apparently) ought to dispel any lingering questions as to her fresh, fun and not-intended-for-family-viewing attitude about life after Hannah Montana. And between the glam-rock style she's sporting in her photoshoot, and the glam rock adorning her ring finger courtesy of fiance Liam Hemsworth, Miley was all too happy to talk about how she's handling her transition from tween sensation to grown-up lady...albeit a grown-up lady who still scoots over to Mom and Dad's house when she finds herself getting the home-alone heebie-jeebies.

"If Liam is traveling and I'm feeling creeped out, I can go to my parents'. Or I'll walk over there in the morning for coffee," she said—an easy proposition, since her folks live just two doors down. Meanwhile, Miley and Liam now live together in the home she used to share with her family, where the star is still getting used to being mistress of the manor.
