As the erstwhile sweetheart of "The Hills," Lauren Conrad seemed to have a knack for getting caught in the middle of drama—despite rarely being the cause of it. Now she's turning the tables: In her new book, "The Fame Game," LC writes from the perspective of the bad girl. Her inspiration? The people she knows in Hollywood who love to create controversy.

"I knew people who called the paparazzi on themselves! Their point of view is, 'They're going to photograph me anyway, and this way I get paid half of what they make.' I could never bring myself to do it, but it was kind of fun to write from that point of view," Lauren told Glamour for their May issue.

Jennifer Lawrence Rolling Stoneby Fallon Prinzivalli

Do you think "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence is taking applications for a best friend? Ever since she started press rounds for her role as Katniss Everdeen in the box-office blockbuster, we've thought she seemed like the most down-to-earth, fun actress around. Whether she's telling Glamour magazine about how she began raiding the mini-bar or "Chelsea Lately" about her brothers calling her ugly (yeah, right!), Jennifer leaves quite the impression on her audience.

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone (on newsstands March 30), her first words when she met the writer were, "I have to pee so bad." (Amazing, right?!) And she made equally intriguing first impressions on her "Hunger Games" cast mates, according to the cover story.

There's no non-weird way to say this, so we're just gonna get it over with:Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are cannibals.

Or at least, that's what they tell us—among other revelations from their exclusive sit-down for Josh Horowitz's "Yes/No Show" on MTV News' After Hours. (Seriously, they say yes to EVERYTHING.) So please, scout the video to see how they feel about nicknames, survival skills and Josh's seductive qualities as compared with Robert Pattinson...and then stick around for some extras, because we are blowing up with a sudden influx of "Hunger Games"-related info.

Yep, you heard us: It's a veritable cascade of exclusive interviews, new production stills and even a personal message from Suzanne Collins herself! And while some folks might insist on savoring this surplus of awesomeness by dishing it out in tiny little pieces, the better to make it last...well, that would require a level of self-control that we just don't have. So instead, here's the whole enchilada: a roundup of everything (and it's MANY things) that's late and great in "Hunger Games" news today.

Jennifer LawrenceGlamour magazine's long-awaited issue honoring the 25 hottest celebrities of 2012 is finally here, and the No. 1 cover girl should be no surprise: It's the arrow-slinging star of "The Hunger Games," Jennifer Lawrence! (Still sporting her brunette dye job and one seriously sparkly top. Yow.) And while some of our other lady favorites made this list of the top Hollywood heavyweights—including the adorable Emma Stone and the ubiquitous Rooney Mara—it's Jennifer's interview that caught our eye today. Especially the part where (get ready to gasp really loud) she almost didn't take the role that we all can't wait to see her in.

"I gave myself three days," she said of being offered the role of Katniss. "I knew from reading the books that I loved 'The Hunger Games.' I just didn’t know if it was worth changing my life for. I’m at a peaceful place right now. The people who used to ignore me at parties, now they’re nice to me and kissing my ass. But nobody’s staked outside my house. I wanted to make sure that when I said yes, I wouldn’t regret it. And I don’t regret it. I would have said no because I was scared, and then I would have been that bitter actress telling my grandkids, ‘I’m the one that turned it down.'"

Vampire Diaries Entertainment Weekly coverAfter getting a load of this week's Entertainment Weekly cover series featuring "Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder, we've suddenly realized: love triangles are so passe. And from now on, we'd like to skip the boring geometric metaphors and instead take all our romantic conflicts in sandwich form. Preferably made with two hunky slices of undead dude-bread. Because daaaaaaaaaamn. We want a manwich, please!

Of course, this delicious cover (and its similarly sexy compatriots, featuring Nina posing solo with each guy) isn't just eye candy; it's also a not-so-subtle hint about the difficult decision that the torn-between-two-lovers Elena will have to make as she contemplates her entanglement with Damon. ...No, wait, Stefan! ...No, wait, ugh, no, don't make her choose!

It may not afford a trip to Disney World or a little gold man, but People magazine's annual Sexiest Man Alive proceedings are a contentious contest, nonetheless.

To wit, when "The Hangover" star Bradley Cooper earned the auspicious title over 2011's Golden God Ryan Gosling, fans took up arms, launching online protests and even going so far as to picket outside of People's Time Inc. headquarters. So when our own Josh Horowitz caught up with 2010's Sexiest Man Alive, Ryan Reynolds, at the "Safe House" junket, he had to get the hottie's take on the situation.

Surprisingly (or perhaps not), Ryan was completely unaware of the kerfuffle. "I did not hear about this," he said, after joking that he was now on the Sexiest Man Alive lecture circuit. "Are you kidding?"

Lenny Kravitz Jennifer LawrenceThe Reaping isn't too far off now, and as if the powers at Lionsgate could sense our collective mouths watering, they've wheeled out an assortment of tasty amuse-bouches for us to nibble on. (Yes, we watch "Top Chef.") So without further ado, let's rundown the "Hunger Games" headlines of the day:

Cinnabonding
No, that's not a tear. A droplet of 7-Up flew into my eye, okay?

Accompanying their latest interview with the rock god, Rolling Stone has debuted a brand-new image of Lenny Kravitz's Cinna and Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss sharing a tender moment, presumably moments before the heroine is sucked up via tubing into the Arena.

“He’s very streamlined, he’s very quiet,” Lenny told the magazine of his stylist alter ego. “He knows what he’s doing. He’s confident. He’s got a big heart. I just liked the way he moved—very smooth.”

Lily Collins Seventeen magazineOne month, two magazine covers. You know you've arrived when you're pulling double duty on the newsstand. Hours after Vanity Fair's starlet-spangled Hollywood issue hit our desks, we found ourselves face-to-face with "Mirror Mirror" star Lily Collins once again, this time on the cover of Seventeen magazine, where she's looking all kinds of adorable in a mini chartreuse frock. Inside the issue, the 22-year-old talks about growing up in the spotlight and paving her own path.

Lily's "Snow White" remake hits theaters March 30, and director Tarsem Singh hasn't been shy about what won Lily the role—namely, her eyebrows! "I just saw her eyebrows and I said, 'That's Snow White,'" he joked in an interview. But Lily hasn't always been comfortable with her prominent brow. “It used to bother me—having bigger, fuller brows. I even plucked them once so I’d fit in, but I hated them and couldn’t wait for them to grow back," she told the mag. "Now I embrace them. I’ve realized the quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful.”

Vanity FairVanity Fair's 2012 Hollywood issue is here, and there's just one word to sum it up: HOLYOMGLAMOUR. (Okay, so that's not technically a word. But an occasion like this needs a wholly original portmanteau, mmmkay?) The cover features a full dozen of our favorite young leading ladies, who look like they're in attendance at a deco-themed slumber party we'd kill for an invitation to—all 12 of them channeling 1930s boudoir bombshells in Old Hollywood pincurls, deep red lipstick and silk charmeuse gowns.

But the cover isn't just eye candy; it's a veritable buffet of the poised and prolific actresses who we'll be seeing in the movies and on the awards circuit for the next decade or so. We've got...
