With Halloween falling inconveniently on a weeknight this year, this past Saturday was the celebratory evening of choice for Halloweenies both famous and non...but since nobody cares about the nons, let's skip 'em and go straight to the gallery of celebrity get-ups, shall we?

From sultry to scary, lots of our Hollywood favorites were out and about this weekend. The best? Probably Emma Roberts, who not only made a very "Pretty Woman" indeed, but gets added points for mining her family history for costume inspiration (the original hooker with a heart of gold is Auntie Julia, you know!). And when it comes to fantasy-friendly outfits—the otherworldly kind, not the dirty kind—it's a tie between Lucy Hale, who was the prettiest my-little-pony in the meadow, and Kim Kardashian, who worked her curves as a super-shapely mermaid in the company of Captain Kanye West. (Although you guys—we're really happy for you, and imma let you finish, but Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest had the best couples costume get-up of all time. OF ALL TIME.)

As an adult, Carrie Bradshaw writes for Vogue. As a teen, she just, well, vogues.

The cast of the upcoming CW series "The Carrie Diaries" are striking their best poses in a fresh batch of publicity photos released by the network today, and they couldn't be cuter. From left to right we have: Katie Findlay as Maggie; Brendan Dooling as Walt, Ellen Wong as Mouse, AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie, Austin Butler as Sebastian, and Freema Agyeman as Larissa.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

While Robert Pattinson broods in Australia, "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart seems to be all smiles in Tokyo, where she's promoting the upcoming "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," out November 16.

The 22-year-old flaunted an eye-popping black-and-white checkered top and shorts ensemble while vamping for pics on the red carpet at Kumamo Shrine today. Japan is just one stop on Kristen's world-wide tour in support of the epic finale to the "Twilight" film franchise.

"The Carrie Diaries" doesn't officially debut on The CW until January, but the '80s-set series arrived fashionably early in Manhattan last night, with its world premiere at the New York Television Festival.

Star AnnaSophia Robb, who plays the titular diarist, was a gilded girl in a dazzling Emilio Pucci dress, which complemented her hair and skin tone oh-so nicely. She was flanked on the pink carpet by executive producer Amy B. Harris (left) and "The Carrie Diaries" author/executive producer Candace Bushnell (right).

Robert Pattinson was in Sydney, Australia, this weekend to promote "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," posing pretty in the harbor before the big red-carpet to-do. And if you were wondering whether Rob might have lost his ability to make the Edward Cullen Emo Sadface in the long months since filming wrapped on the last chapter of "The Twilight Saga," you will be delighted to see that his tortured pout makes a very distinctive appearance in this gallery of shots from Down Under.

The actor looked downright tortured as he perched on a mooring by the water—hand thrust into his hair, brows knit together, gazing soulfully into the distance. But the sad face was fleeting; Rob's grin was front-and-center by the time he hit the carpet, where he was typically charming and gracious whilst interacting with fans.

Breaking Dawn - Part 2With less than a month until "The Twilight Saga" draws to its cinematic conclusion with "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," we weren't expecting another trailer for the long-awaited finale. And, well, there isn't one...but there is a fresh featurette!

A two-minute clip debuted today on iTunes, and it's a nifty little look behind the scenes with saga stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Mackenzie Foy and director Bill Condon. Much of the film footage is trailer retread, but what we bit into was the production shots, which offered a new perspective on familiar material. Here are our three favorite behind-the-scenes moments:

Cemeteries aren't exactly new territory for our favorite "Pretty Little Liars," but at least last night's visit to the land of gravestones and all that's ooky and spooky was full of treats—not tricks.

The cast of the hit ABC Family series congregated at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles Monday for the premiere of their Halloween special, "This Is a Dark Ride," and it seems the dress code could be best described as "autumnal casual." Stars like Lucy Hale, Brant Daugherty and Sasha Pieterse broke out their boots and dark denim for the walk down the black carpet, though cast mates Lindsey Shaw and Tammin Sursok did opt for slightly more frill with their respective dresses

Elle magazine's annual celebration of Hollywood's best and brightest women was last night, and can we just say? Best. Party. Ever. To which we were not invited, for some strange reason! But that's okay, because despite the disappointment, we can still enjoy today's photographic documentation of all our favorite ladycrushes hanging out in one place (YAY!). All the best girls in the entertainment biz were present for this event to honor their accomplishments, and it was amazing. Picture the world's most awesome slumber party, only everyone's famous and wearing couture.

This was a seriously star-studded event, and our gallery of the attendees only represents something like one quarter of the celebrity presence—but we did manage to snag snapshots of major players like the Emmas (Stone and Watson, that is), Rashida Jones, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Anna Kendrick, and even the Grande Dame of Female Fabulousness, Susan Sarandon.

Brace yourself for the frantic, delighted shrieking of "Hunger Games" fans everywhere: Jennifer Lawrence and company have been photographed in Atlanta, in costume on, the set of "Catching Fire." A few long-distance photos caught Jennifer (and co-star Josh Hutcherson) milling about in what looks like it might be an early scene from Katniss and Peeta's tour of the Districts.

Jennifer was caught in the middle of a calm moment, waiting for someone to call "Action!" and wearing a peculiar sleeveless outfit that's no doubt quite the fashion statement in post-war Panem. (And hey, it's better than the tacky Stormtrooper rip-offs that the Peacekeepers are wearing. Honestly, guys, stop trying to make fetch happen. IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.)

Has Lucy Hale discovered A's latest victim? Nah, the "Pretty Little Liars" starlet is just scaring up some fun at the 4th Annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride VIP Premiere Night held at Griffith Park on Sunday night. The actress was among a slew of celebrities, including Katy Perry, Sarah Hyland and Derek Hough, getting in the Halloween spirit at the frightening fete.

Speaking of the ooky, spooky holiday, Lucy's ABC Family series will return for one night only in 2012 for their annual Halloween special, featuring a guest appearance by glampire Adam Lambert, who will reportedly perform two numbers.
