It's easy to forget—what with those otherworldly silver irises staring back at you—that at its heart, Stephenie Meyer's alien-invasion epic, "The Host," is a love story. In fact, it even does the author's previous saga ("Twilight," duh) one better, boasting a love square (that's four sides, guys!) at its juicy center.
As we anticipate the film's Friday release, Hollywood Crush got its hands on an EXCLUSIVE trailer to evoke all the feels you will feel while watching the romantic thriller this weekend.
But wait! There's more! If you click past the jump, you'll be treated to a collection of brand-new images that are likely to cause uncontrollable sweating and swooning: Max Irons looking dreamy. Jake Abel looking dreamy. Max Irons looking dreamy again. What more do we need to say?
True story: This past Sunday morning, several of Hollywood's best entertainers woke up with slime in their hair and a small orange blimp beside them...and nobody was surprised, because that's just how it goes on the day after the Kids' Choice Awards. The 2013 celebration of celeb achievements and doling-out of trophy blimps was Saturday night, an evening rife with great moments, gorgeous outfits and gobs of viscous slime for a select few attendees.
Among the highlights of the night: Kristen Stewart, who took home awards for Fave Movie Actress and Best Female Buttkicker, got her hands just a little bit dirty during a cheerful acceptance speech. (Sandra Bullock, standing behind her, was not so lucky.) Selena Gomez, on a break from promoting the just-released "Spring Breakers," was honored for her work on "Wizards of Waverly Place"." And when they weren't dodging cascades of green goo, the audience enjoyed awesome performances and hilarious skits—including a pumped-up opening act featuring Christina Aguilera and Pitbull.
Thanks to last night's revealing "Glee" episode, we now know all the New Directioners' deepest, darkest, dirtiest secrets—like Kitty's adoration for the Spice Girls and Sam's status as a Fanilow. But pop peccadilloes weren't the only guilty pleasures on display.
Things took a turn for the literary when Blaine stumbled upon Sam tearing through copies of R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" in the library. But there was another novel cameo you may have missed! As it turns out, Tina Cohen-Chang is one more teen bewitched by Brittany Geragotelis' "What the Spell?" You can see her carrying a copy in the photo above!
When this girl meets world...and Shawn and Eric!
The stars of the "Boy Meets World" spin-off, "Girl Meets World," are hard at work filming the pilot for their Disney Channel series, and they were treated to a visit by two "BMW" alumni yesterday.
Actress Rowan Blanchard, who plays titular girl Riley Matthews, posted a photo to Instagram of herself and co-star Sabrina Carpenter alongside Rider Strong and Will Friedle (otherwise known as Shawn Hunter and Eric Matthews).
Saoirse Ronan is one hot extraterrestrial. The star of the upcoming supernatural romance "The Host," walked the carpet at Hollywood's ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome last night to premiere her latest project alongside cast mates Max Irons, Jake Abel and Diane Kruger, plus author/producer Stephenie Meyer.
The willowy actress looked more mature than her 18 years in a maroon-hued Lanvin shift dress, strappy black heels and pin-straight locks. Her male co-stars also cut fine forms in their respective suits and ties. (Did we mention how jealous we are that Saoirse gets to make out with both guys in the film?!)
Hollywood's hottest señoritas were in the house at L.A.'s El Rey Theatre last night to celebrate the release of Justin Timberlake's long-awaited new album 20/20 Experience.
Among the glittering guest list were "Twilight" co-stars Anna Kendrick and Nikki Reed, Victoria Justice, Jordin Sparks and Emmy Rossum.
"Watching the one and only @jtimberlake perform at the El Rey theater!Everyone watch out because I'm dancing like no one is here!" Nikki tweeted, along with a photo of the concert.

FROM MTV NEWS: Edward Cullen this most certainly is not.
Robert Pattinson has traded in his perfectly coiffed locks and sparkling skin for something much grittier in the futuristic thriller "The Rover." Co-starring Guy Pearce, the film takes place in the Australian outback, following a cataclysmic financial collapse.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we're getting our first look at Rob in the role and under the gun by Guy.

Are you ready for all of the hotness this Tuesday morning? (And I do mean all of it.) Check it: Here, for your viewing pleasure, are the two dreamy leads of the upcoming movie "The Host" hanging in Minneapolis with the boys of the band Imagine Dragons.
And, in case you aren't aware, the actors have a lot more in common with the rockers than just great taste in jackets. The trio's second single, "Radioactive," appears in the trailer for Max Irons' and Jake Abel's alien-invasion flick, based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer.
Bikinis and big booties might be what it's all about, yo, but this year's biggest spring break destination isn't a beachside retreat: instead, a critical mass of the cast of "Spring Breakers" showed up at Austin's South by Southwest festival to party down, celebrate digital culture and take part in a fun panel discussion with fans and filmmakers.
Selena Gomez, Rachel Korine, Ashley Benson and James Franco joined director Harmony Korine at the Texas to-do, where they posed for pictures and answered questions about the soon-to-be-released movie.
