If you thought there was no possible way for the fuzzy, fun-loving Muppets to get on board with the glut of "The Hunger Games" tie-ins...well, obviously you haven't met many Muppets. They're an ambitious bunch—and seriously, as if the publicity-hungry Miss Piggy would miss out on the biggest promotional trend of the year! And today on the Yahoo! movies site, the Muppets are indeed front, center and taking the Capitol by storm with their very own "Hunger Games" mash-up trailer for "The Muppets"—complete with a Muppet Mockingjay motif title screen. (Muppetjay? Mockingmuppet? Whatever: point is, it's on fire.)

"Hunger Games" fans who've been watching the trailer on a continuous loop over the past several weeks—and we've all been doing it, okay, so don't deny it—will no doubt recognize bits of audio from the full-length trailer, as well as Kermit the Frog parroting Gale's iconic line about the audience just wanting a good show.

Carrying a tiny dog in your designer handbag? PSH. That nonsense is so 2008. Now, the most trendsetting of Hollywood starlets know that the new big thing in celebrity pet ownership is all about redefining the meaning of "crazy cat lady"—and Taylor Swift, who recently added a feline family member to her household (and introduced her to fans in a series of seriously adorable videos on her YouTube account) is right there on the front lines. So of course, when we had the country star in for an interview to promote her upcoming movie "The Lorax," we had to ask: What's the scoop on Meredith the Cat?

Taylor started grinning as soon as the subject came up, giving us some backstory on the cat's origins: "She's a Scottish Fold, so she looks like an owl," she explained. "She's so awesome. She's such a good cat, she's just, like, a good cat. She's a good solid cat."

But lest you think that Taylor isn't so much redefining the notion of crazy cat lady-ness as succumbing to it, she was quick to point out that she hasn't crossed any weird lines when it comes to bringing her kitty cat out in public.

Melissa McCarthyThe Oscars aren't on until Sunday, but here at Hollywood Crush headquarters, we're already dreaming and scheming about what we're hoping to see on the red carpet—and whose names we hope come out of those all-important envelopes—when Hollywood's finest gather together for the biggest awards show of the year. And while we're daydreaming about the most perfectly perfect Oscars ever...wait, isn't there some super-scientific theory* about how putting your desires out into the universe will cause them to all come true? Why, yes! Yes, there is!

*Note: If Oprah says it, it's SCIENCE, okay.

So, universe, have at it: three little things that would let your favorite Hollywood gossips enjoy the Academy Awards of their dreams. (And we expect to see results!)

When "Wanderlust" stars Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston stopped by recently to debut an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek from their upcoming comedy (and talk nudity, a "Friends" reunion and bearded Justin Theroux), we just couldn't say good-bye without putting them through the wringer just a tad. Which is why we insisted they endure the ultimate MTV rite of passage: Josh Horowitz's After Hours.

For this installment, Josh turned to that slumber party staple, Would You Rather. And it was revealing to say the least. What did we learn? Jennifer would rather sleep with Megan Fox than Regis Philbin. Paul would rather do an Oprah impression than demonstrate a really bad dance move. And Jennifer would rather Justin Bieber portray her in a biopic than Robert Pattinson. Yeah, we'll just leave that one right there.

Hunger GamesYou guys. YOU GUYS. It's February 23, and you know what that means: We're officially at the one-month mark for counting down to "The Hunger Games" release. And with so little time left before the most anticipated movie of 2012 hits theaters, it's a fair bet that fans everywhere are going to either a) lose their last remaining shred of cool and spend the next 29 days in non-stop screeching hysterics, or b) suffer total fangirl overload, melt every last synapse in their brains, and spend the next 20 years in a persistent vegetative state.

And nobody wants THAT.

So instead of leaving you to your own devices, we've come up with a list of daily activities to help you prepare for the Most Important Cinematic Event of All Time—the better to keep your excitement at a reasonable level, and your internal wiring as un-melted as possible. So get ready, get set, and start counting down to March 23, beginning with...

Who was that mysterious bearded man? That's the question you're undoubtedly asking since catching a sneak peek at a clip from "Wanderlust," opening tomorrow, in which Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston are awkwardly hugged-on by a goat-toting gentleman with a pleasing personal aroma...who, as it turns out, is actor Justin Theroux in disguise. And when Paul and Jennifer visited us for an EXCLUSIVE MTV First, we had to ask: What was it like to work with Justin Theroux, now that he's a filthy, goat-loving hippie?

Well, for one, it was apparently so awesome that neither Jennifer nor Paul could express their admiration in much more than sentence fragments. But we do know that this is definitely a new look for the actor—so much so that Jennifer, who's been dating Justin for just shy of a year, couldn't recognize him on set.

"I didn't recognize him when we were at the camera test," she said. "I did not recognize him. He's usually in leather and tight black jeans and black boots—he has this very specific look..."

Taylor Swift Zac EfronSometimes two celebrities do something so cute together that, even when they've never been romantically linked before, the mere sight of it is enough to launch a thousand hopeful shippers in their direction. (Is this one of those times? Maybe! Depending on how loud you guys squeal when you see it.) But even if they're the just-friendliest of just-friends, that doesn't change the charm of this clip of Taylor Swift and Zac Efron on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The pair appeared today as part of the media tour to promote "The Lorax," for which both Taylor and Zac lent their voices to animated characters—but the movie news took a backseat to the fact that Zac got a private on-set guitar lesson from the country superstar. And by "private lesson," we mean... no, really, we actually mean "private lesson." Turns out that Taylor taught her co-star to play "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People in between takes...and to prove it, the two of them busted out their instruments for an impromptu performance of the song (which they penned new Ellen-appropriate lyrics for). Adorable? Yeah it is. And if the two have this same kind of fun chemistry in their new animated flick, we'll be happy to shell out to see it.

Click past the jump to watch their entire performance!

Ryan Reynolds Ryan GoslingWe would never want to condone infidelity, but let's be honest: Who among us hasn't considered (even for just a moment) which celebrity we'd want to knock boots with if given a free pass? Well, according to a just-released survey from Fitness Magazine and Yahoo! Shine, not only have women thought about it, but they know exactly who would be on their list. (Hint: The top men in question are Canadians named Ryan.)

This one is for those of you who appreciate our weekly Hump Day Hottie feature, as well as those who love an adorable celeb couple. Not so long ago, we anointed "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams as our Hump Day Hottie, which led to two awesome things: First we learned that Patrick's real-life love interest is "Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario. Second, his "Suits" co-star Gabriel Macht was so overwhelmed by Patrick's honor that he felt the need to tweet a photo about how he was feeling about the whole thing. The chain of events was so fun that when I caught up with the Troian recently, I had to ask for her take.

"It was really funny. When he was the Hump Day Hottie, Gabriel Macht released that Twitpic, "Hump Day Nottie," and that tickled me pink, that was such a great response," she said. "It was definitely a great thing being able to walk around the apartment: 'Hump Day Hottie, could you pass me the coffee?' 'Hump Day Hottie, I left my phone in the other room could you Hump Day Hottie that over to me?' and he was just like, 'I hate you so much, would you stop that?' It was even better in public. That was great."

It may not afford a trip to Disney World or a little gold man, but People magazine's annual Sexiest Man Alive proceedings are a contentious contest, nonetheless.

To wit, when "The Hangover" star Bradley Cooper earned the auspicious title over 2011's Golden God Ryan Gosling, fans took up arms, launching online protests and even going so far as to picket outside of People's Time Inc. headquarters. So when our own Josh Horowitz caught up with 2010's Sexiest Man Alive, Ryan Reynolds, at the "Safe House" junket, he had to get the hottie's take on the situation.

Surprisingly (or perhaps not), Ryan was completely unaware of the kerfuffle. "I did not hear about this," he said, after joking that he was now on the Sexiest Man Alive lecture circuit. "Are you kidding?"
