'Looper' Star Emily Blunt: Queen Of Sci-Fi?

This week on MTV's After Hours, we have just one vital question to ask: What happens when the charming Josh Horowitz sits down with Emily Blunt, declares the agreeable actress the Queen of Sci-Fi, and then puts her to the test with an impromptu pop quiz about Joss Whedon, "Battlestar Galactica" and the ins and outs of "Stark Trek" genealogy?

Answer: an important lesson about what happens when you assign the "Queen of Sci-Fi" label to a lady without properly vetting her first, Josh.

As it turns out, despite her starring roles in "The Adjustment Bureau" and "Looper," Emily has not osmotically absorbed enough geek cred to answer even the most basic questions about beloved sci-fi cult favorites...or to show them the proper respect, for that matter. For instance, after failing to identify the made-up curse that was propagated by the good folks on "Battlestar Galactica," Emily replied incredulously:

"Frak? Are you serious, that 'frak' is a swear word?"

'Perks' Stars Reveal Their Favorite Firsts

In case you missed the big to-do, the cast of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" debuted an EXCLUSIVE, brand new, never-before-seen clip from their upcoming film right here on MTV last night—and after, they stuck around for a special 30-minute MTV First interview with Josh Horowitz!

With our show's title being what it is, it only made sense to grill Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller on some of their own special "firsts"...although not, based on the embarrassed groans coming from Logan, the sort he was afraid we'd ask about. (Don't worry, Logan; we're keeping it strictly PG.)

Phoebe Tonkin's Favorite Pop-Culture Things

From Chance Harbor to Mystic Falls, actress Phoebe Tonkin is quickly becoming one of the most well-traveled CW stars! When the actress' American debut, "The Secret Circle," was cancelled earlier this year after just one season (we're still smarting!), she was quickly snapped up by the network's other supernatural, Kevin Williamson-produced, L.J. Smith-novel-adapted series "The Vampire Diaries." Bloody fantastic, indeed.

But before the Australian actress appears in a single frame of the vampire drama, she'll have to fend off a school of sharks in a grocery store (yes, this is a real movie that happened) in "Bait 3D," which hits DVD and Blu-ray this week. In honor of the release, our friends at NextMovie called up the actress to dish about all of her favorite films, T.V. series and musical performers.

Jennifer Lawrence Sings Before She Screams In 'House At The End Of The Street' Music Video

There's a new music video out for "The House at the End of the Street," the horror movie starring Jennifer Lawrence as a hapless teenager whose new neighborhood holds a scary secret or two—but before you watch it, beware. The clip lulls you into a false sense of security, letting you think you're enjoying a regular music video by the surprisingly talented Jennifer, who has a guitar in her lap and a sweet little song to sing about falling in love...and then BAM, you're sucked into a horror-flick remix in which Jennifer's vocals echo back, distorted, while she flees for her life from the demented basement-dwelling creepazoid who almost certainly wants to make a bathrobe out of her skin. GAH! Worst bait-and-switch ever. This is worse than being Rickrolled!

Suri Cruise As 'Twilight' Heroine Bella Swan?

When MTV News caught up with "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer earlier this summer at San Diego Comic-Con, the authoress let slip an interesting tidbit: namely, that she'd be open to a cinematic reboot of her vampire romance...in the not-too-near future.

"I think that obviously that could happen, and in the right scenario it might be something I'd be excited about, I mean, 15 years down the line," she said. "It would be cool to revisit it in 15 years. It would be fun."

It would be, Stephenie! But why wait 15 years for the laughs? Our friends at NextMovie certainly aren't! They looked into their crystal ball (or perhaps asked a certain psychic vamp) to discover which actors and actresses would suit up as Bella, Edward and Jacob in a reboot, circa 2030. Little Suri Cruise as our clumsy protagonist? It could happen!

Taylor Swift Reveals Her Backup Plan On MTV First

Taylor Swift stopped by our studios last night for the much-anticipated, exclusive MTV First debut of her brand new video for "We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together"—but before we got to the main event, we sat her down for an interview and made her tell us all her most seeeecret secrets! ...Yeah, okay, not really. (And no, we still don't know who the mystery man was that inspired this angry breakup song.) But we did get the star to play a modified version of Never Have I Ever, and get a couple surprising answers in the bargain! For instance: If things hadn't worked out with the whole mega-selling pop star thing, Taylor did have some alternative ideas about what she'd do with her life.

"You have to have a backup plan in your head, and I was in middle school when I was forming [mine]," she explained, before revealing that her career aspirations included either "something to do with criminal justice, or interior design."

Robert Pattinson Hopes He's Not Losing His English Accent

Save for this year's period drama "Bel Ami," if you want to hear Robert Pattinson's irresistible English accent in a feature film, you'll have to dig through the archives and retrieve the quirky 2008 movie "How to Be." It seems filmmakers just aren't keen on utilizing the actor's native tongue, which is a real shame if you ask us.

Rob, of course, is a good sport about the whole thing, affecting an American accent with greater ease in each film role. But, does he ever worry he might be losing his English accent, little by little? That was the question posed to the actor during our recent MTV First: Robert Pattinson.

"I don't know," he said. "I guess I don't spend that much time in England. I hope not. I don't have the concern. I don't need to be like Jenny from the Block. I like to be international."

But being "international" didn't always pay off for the thespian, especially when he initially arrived on our shores, so to speak.

Robert Pattinson Plays Never Have I Ever: 'Cosmopolis' Edition

Perhaps it's because we're rarely (okay, never) chauffeured around Manhattan in a limousine, but we had no idea such crazy shenanigans happened in the backseat! That's at least according to Robert Pattinson's upcoming film "Cosmopolis," which hits theaters in limited release tomorrow.

When the actor stopped by our studios to debut a new clip from the drama and chat with Josh Horowitz, we just had to see how many of the movie's weird happenings Rob had experienced first hand. So like two gal pals at a sleepover, the duo played a round of Never Have I Ever.

First up: Have you ever shot a gun?
"Yes, many times. Just recently. I just kind of got into it. I go to the LAPD shooting range. [The target] was a poster of a guy, and completely irrelevantly, he looked a lot like my dad. I mean, I noticed that. I was like, this is really uncomfortable."
