Hollywood Crush has moved! come with us to mtv news »

We don't want to scare you, but there are only three weeks left to cobble together a spooktacular Halloween costume (Honey Boo Boo, anyone?) for all the fright-filled festivities on October 31.

Celebrities have already been getting in on the spirit, most notably the slew of stars who showed up over the weekend for the 4th Annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride VIP Premiere Night, including Lucy Hale and Katy Perry.

And now that "Awkward"'s second season has concluded, it seems actress Molly Tarlov has a bit of free time to contemplate the holiday, as well, seeing as she delivered a timely tweet about our commander-in-chief.

We sincerely hope everything Molly has written comes to pass. We're counting on you, Great Pumpkin!

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Has Lucy Hale discovered A's latest victim? Nah, the "Pretty Little Liars" starlet is just scaring up some fun at the 4th Annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride VIP Premiere Night held at Griffith Park on Sunday night. The actress was among a slew of celebrities, including Katy Perry, Sarah Hyland and Derek Hough, getting in the Halloween spirit at the frightening fete.

Speaking of the ooky, spooky holiday, Lucy's ABC Family series will return for one night only in 2012 for their annual Halloween special, featuring a guest appearance by glampire Adam Lambert, who will reportedly perform two numbers.

Although most of us know the second Monday in October as Columbus Day, it's a little hard to get enthused about a holiday that may or may not be kinda-sorta celebrating the mass exploitation of America's native people's by an ego-maniacal Spaniard... which is why today, we've decided to channel our energy into celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving with our friends to the north, instead! How? By having a party, of course... a gif party, to which we've invited our favorite Canadian hotties. Dress code in effect, gentlemen.

Drake licks his lips in anticipation, but...

Would you like the good or the bad news first? Okay, the good news: With fall in full swing, our favorite caffeinated beverage, the pumpkin spice latte, has returned to Starbucks everywhere. The bad news? Many stores are running out of the sweet secret syrup, according to the Wall Street Journal! The horror!

Thankfully, from the sounds of a tweet sent by former "Hills" star Kristin Cavallari, the shortage hasn't reached her local 'bucks.

Now, if you need us, we'll be pillaging evey Starbucks within a five mile radius. See you on Monday!

Beware: If you desperately want to cling to any grand illusions regarding kind, sweet, lovable Anna Kendrick, we suggest you click away right now. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Because in our latest After Hours, the "Pitch Perfect" star—for the very first time—reveals the dark side we don't see in flicks like "Up in the Air" and "50/50." And by dark, we mean dark. Like, drowning kittens dark, you guys! Seriously, we want our mommy!

Elizabeth Banks is a girl after our own heart. The "Pitch Perfect" star took to Twitter today to dispense with a bit of housekeeping advice. Namely, how she manages to snake her drain without tossing her Peeta cookies.

Gross? Yes. Useful? Perhaps.

Are you considering a career in entertainment journalism? Do you think that interviewing celebrities sounds fun, rewarding, maybe even easy? Hey! So did we! But when MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down for an After Hours chat with the stars of "Butter," it became quite clear, quite quickly, that something was not quite right...as evidenced by this video, which we're politely referring to as a "Bloopers" reel.

And by "politely," we mean more polite than the truth, which is that somebody spiked the actors' punch with Crazy. Whether a mass conspiracy or something in the water, there was no end to the bizarre madness that ensued as Josh tried in vain to conduct his interviews, from Jennifer Garner and Ty Burrell being unable to field a question without talking across and over each other, to Ashley Greene taking offense at everything and committing assault with a pack of cue cards, to Rob Corddry making threats and refusing to leave his chair. It's all very weird and downright sinister, really.

When we sat down with the cast of the upcoming a cappella comedy "Pitch Perfect," we came with a reporter's notebook full of inquiries for stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and Skylar Astin. And you better believe at the top of that list was: "What the f--- is a 'pitch slap?'"—that mysterious maneuver referenced in the movie's tagline.

While the cast mates couldn't agree on its precise definition (answers varied from acts of violence to Justin Timberlake's falsetto), they did address the question gamely and with aplomb worthy of the Barden University Bellas and Treblemakers.

Click play on the video above to get pitch slapped. Or something.

This week on MTV's After Hours, we have just one vital question to ask: What happens when the charming Josh Horowitz sits down with Emily Blunt, declares the agreeable actress the Queen of Sci-Fi, and then puts her to the test with an impromptu pop quiz about Joss Whedon, "Battlestar Galactica" and the ins and outs of "Stark Trek" genealogy?

Answer: an important lesson about what happens when you assign the "Queen of Sci-Fi" label to a lady without properly vetting her first, Josh.

As it turns out, despite her starring roles in "The Adjustment Bureau" and "Looper," Emily has not osmotically absorbed enough geek cred to answer even the most basic questions about beloved sci-fi cult favorites...or to show them the proper respect, for that matter. For instance, after failing to identify the made-up curse that was propagated by the good folks on "Battlestar Galactica," Emily replied incredulously:

"Frak? Are you serious, that 'frak' is a swear word?"

In case you missed the big to-do, the cast of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" debuted an EXCLUSIVE, brand new, never-before-seen clip from their upcoming film right here on MTV last night—and after, they stuck around for a special 30-minute MTV First interview with Josh Horowitz!

With our show's title being what it is, it only made sense to grill Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller on some of their own special "firsts"...although not, based on the embarrassed groans coming from Logan, the sort he was afraid we'd ask about. (Don't worry, Logan; we're keeping it strictly PG.)

Here's what the stars had to say about...
