Style Superstar: We Love Anne Hathaway's Silver Sequins

We might've been left scratching our heads over some of her "Les Miserables" premiere outfits—and we still can't decide whether those leg-brace bondage heels were an adventurous hit or a ghastly miss—but there was no such confusion over Anne Hathaway's look from the Museum of the Moving Image salute to Hugh Jackman this week. This ensemble? It's pure Style Superstar.

Anne showed off her long limbs and swan neck in this blush-colored Nina Ricci dress with silver sequins, making her a spangled standout in the crowd at the event honoring "Les Mis" co-star Hugh Jackman. And while her similarly fashion-forward ensembles haven't been a hit with critics this month, the actress was a statuesque beauty in this one; she's so effortlessly glamorous that it's easy to forget that the unusual gathered waist and drippy silver spangling would make this a hard look for most to pull off. With a gold box clutch and delicate jewelery—and, of course, her sleek short hair —this is a total knockout. Well-played, Anne.

Style Superstar: Kerry Washington Is A Gorgeous Grey Lady

Nothing brightens up a cold December day like a pretty party dress and some ravishing red accessories—whether the lady wearing them is walking the red carpet or rockin' around the Christmas tree. So don't be surprised if we show up to your holiday party having flat-out stolen Kerry Washington's gorgeous look from the Women in Entertainment breakfast this week, where she wore a seriously covet-worthy ensemble that also earned her this week's Style Superstar honors.

Kerry was a standout at the event in a sumptuous gray Carven dress, with a deco-inspired, brocade-lined cutout design on the bodice. But it was the accents that made this look Superstar material: red patent pumps and a matching clutch that added a firecracker finish to her amazing look. Also, let's have a moment of recognition for Kerry's historic achievement of being possibly the first adult woman ever to wear cap sleeves without looking ridiculous.

Style Superstar: Robert Pattinson Is Well-Suited

Here at Hollywood Crush, we've got a proud Friday tradition of naming one fiercely fashionable individual to the position of Style Superstar: an honor we bestow on whichever lovely lady happened to put together the best look of the week. And things being what they are, our Style Superstar has only ever been a lady. UNTIL NOW.

Because let's be real, there was nothing—nothing!!!—in the closets of Hollywood's finest females this week that could compete with Robert Pattinson's emerald Gucci suit at the "Breaking Dawn -Part 2" premiere. I mean, that is a suit. A suit for the ages. A suit that may or may not have caused our underpants to burst into flames at the mere sight of it, it's so...so...SUITABLE. And though Rob already earned a style retrospective this week for his long-standing penchant for colorful menswear, this gallant green number in a teeny tiny houndstooth print deserved its own spotlight. With a light blue shirt, a skinny black tie and his creases all perfectly placed, the actor outshone even his lady costars' gorgeous gowns with manly panache. And he is, with our congratulations, this week's Style Superstar.

Style Superstar: Lucy Hale Makes A Sequined Splash

We already gave props to Lucy Hale during our rundown of the best out-and-out costumes worn by celebs during this Halloween Hallo-week, but clearly, the actress is on a roll: Not only did she win all of the awards as a frilly, furry, pink-tutu-wearing unicorn for trick-or-treating purposes, but she dazzled at last night's Country Music Awards with a look that would've spooked a less adventurous star.

Lucy's Moschino gown is a beautiful conflict of interests: drapey, cowl-necked white lace overlaid with a bold, dramatic splash of black sequins. It's a design that catches the eye, and the imagination (doesn't it look like the dress is transforming from the bodice out into a darker, shinier, sexier version of itself?)—and it offered a pitch-perfect wink to all things creepy-crawly on the day following Halloween. And with onyx drop earrings, lush curls and a luscious red pout, Lucy was Exhibit A for the sort of bold fashion statement that makes a true Style Superstar.

Style Superstar: Leighton Meester Says Yes To A Hanger Dress

It's no surprise that the best-dressed character on "Gossip Girl" is a Style Superstar off-screen, too: Leighton Meester made one gorgeous hostess at the Flaunt Magazine new issue launch party this week, celebrating her status as their latest cover girl in a whimsical print dress that earned her this week's top honors for excellent fashion sense.

Leighton looked fresh and edgy in this Mary Katrantzou strapless crepe dress, which features a pattern of interlacing clothes hangers on the bodice (how meta!) and a slim, stiff skirt with pockets. And while she played it safe with the shoes—a pair of classic black pointed-toe pumps—the pinkish-purple pop of color on her lips and her cute 'do gave her party look just the right amount of punch.

Style Superstar: Naya Rivera's Serene Simplicity

Fashionistas, take note: This is how you win (and lose) points for presentation. Naya Rivera showed up to the Elle Women in Hollywood party this wee, and left with the Style Superstar title—all for taking the most understated of looks and wearing it with polished poise, which was eye-catching in a way that outshone anyone else's spangled accents or bright colors.

Naya donned a pale yellow Moschino shift dress for the event, pairing it with burgundy peep-toe pumps, delicate minimal jewelery and a matching clutch. It's hardly a groundbreaking outfit, and the dress is as simple as they come, but it flatters the actress' figure beautifully—and every other part of her look, from the bag to the shoes to her makeup, is in perfect harmony. (Look at her! She doesn't have so much as a hair out of place.) And as this week's Superstar, she's Exhibit A that a true style standout can be less about what you wear than it is about how you wear it.

Style Superstar: Kate Bosworth Racks Up One In The Win Column

Watch the sky for flying pigs, and keep an eye out for snowballs in hell: Diane Kruger missed the mark with a red-carpet look this week, allowing another actress to edge her out for Style Superstar honors and marking what may well be the end of the world as we know it. (Or maybe she was just having an off day. Still: WE'RE SCARED.) Both Diane and Kate Bosworth donned shiny-stiff column dresses for events, but it's Kate who wore it best and wins the day. Kate, our Style Superstar, was aglow in this Stella McCartney number—and while column dresses are a challenge to wear, this is how it's done. Though the length could be a little better (read: shorter), Kate managed to pick a dress whose shimmery palette was perfectly matched to her skin, along with a complementary coral-colored lipstick and sparkly nude heels with whisper-thin straps. And she's so statuesque, she can work this stiff, straight up-and-down silhouette like a boss. Well-played, Kate!

Style Superstar: Jennifer Garner Is One Hot Mama

There's an old saying that we can't quite remember—something about bushels and lights and hiding things—that would have been an appropriate way to start off this week's Style Superstar...that is, if we could stop staring slack-jawed at Jennifer Garner's red hot hotness for long enough to google it. But we can't. Nope. I mean, just look at her.

Jennifer has always been a beauty, but we've grown so used to seeing the seemingly perpetually pregnant actress in bump-friendly outfits that we'd kinda forgotten what a hottie she is. Well, the more fools we, you guys. Because when she showed up to the red-carpet premiere for hubby Ben Affleck's new film, the lady was ablaze in a slinky, sexy, red-red-red Monique Lhuillier gown. Shiny hair and some sparkly bangles completed the look, letting the dress stand out—and even if we do wish she'd worn a teensy bit more makeup, the nude lip is totally on trend.

Style Superstar: Kiernan Shipka Is A Blue Beauty

If you're looking for the next fashion icon in training, there's no better place than the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, the perfect venue for fresh-faced young things to debut some definitive style sense. And while plenty of the attendee's at this year's event looked very dashing indeed, there was just one young lady who showed the early glimmers of a true Style Superstar. Who's the girl we're pinpointing as a sure-to-be Next Big Thing in red-carpet fashion? And whose look still has some growing up to do? Check it!

This week's Style Superstar is none other than "Mad Men"'s Kiernan Shipka, who plays the wayward, risk-taking tween daughter of the recently divorced Drapers. Kiernan got lots of positive feedback for her shimmery look at the Emmys on Sunday, but we think it's this cobalt blue dress with a geometric-print bodice, peter pan collar and pleated skirt—and the daring punch of color from her turquoise pumps and bright yellow purse—that show she's got the spirit of a true fashionista. So many teenage actresses struggle to strike the right balance with their red-carpet looks, but Kiernan's ability to go bold and have fun hits all the right notes and looks effortless to boot.
