Hollywood Crush has moved! come with us to mtv news »

It's springtime for fashion in Hollywood, and some of our favorite stars were looking on the bright side this week—in bold, bright yellow frocks that put a sunshiney spin on nighttime glamour. And today, two of these buttercup-colored looks were in contention for Style Superstardom! Which golden girl's casual cocktail chic won the honors? And whose lemony look could have used just a little more more-ness? Check it!

Emily Blunt is always a shoo-in for best-dressed with her effortlessly sophisticated style sense, and her look at the Elie Saab private dinner this week was no exception. Her yellow belted dress was a perfect fit, beautifully tailored, with a wide neckline that showed off just the right amount of skin. And while many gals would have been tempted to clutter this streamlined style with jewelry, Emily took a creative approach: accessorizing with pops of bold, bright red on her lips, fingers and toes. The result? A super-sleek look that makes this daytime color an evening standout.

Spring has sprung, and fashion-conscious celebs are taking note! Gone are the dark, drab, heavy frocks of winter—jettisoned in favor of chic casual neutrals, exposed legs and vibrant pops of color. And this week, two lovely ladies broke out their best springtime style in the battle for Style Superstardom! Whose leather-centric look had us mooing (in a good way)? And who needs to peel back a layer or two to really celebrate the oncoming warmer weather? You know we've got the answers.

This week's Style Superstar? Ashley Greene, who looked seriously sophisticated when she made an appearance at the famous Macy's store in New York's Herald Square. Ashley sported a polished but casual combo by DKNY, showing off her lovely legs with a short leather A-line skirt and a pair of heels in the same shade of brown. And while leather bottoms can be tough to pull off (both figuratively and literally, now that we think about it), Ashley's choice of a tailored and feminine blouse in a searing orange-red was the perfect counterpart to her luscious leather skirt.

Spring has sprung—especially when it comes to the red-carpet style on display this week at the launch of Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina fragrance. Celebrity attendees posed in front of a giant wall covered top-to-bottom with sprays of pink roses, and almost everyone broke out their best and brightest Ferragamo duds to color the occasion. Who stood out like a Style Superstar? And whose look threatened to fade into the background? Check it.

AnnaSophia Robb only just scored the lead role in "Sex and the City" high-school reboot "The Carrie Diaries," but she's wasted no time decking herself out in designer duds that would do Carrie Bradshaw proud. The actress showed up in a flattering dress whose whimsical print really stood out from the crowd (and, more importantly, the busy pink background that all attendees were photographed in front of.) Few ladies could pull off a look quite this wild (ha! ha!), but AnnaSophia looked fresh-faced, comfortable, and fully in her element—and while the last lady to play Carrie B. left some seriously fashionable shoes to fill, those navy satin pumps are holding their own in a big way.

With "The Hunger Games" making its premieres in L.A., Paris and London this week, there was no question about who was going to supply this week's Style Superstar Honors—only which red carpet we'd be picking 'em from! And if the fashion on parade at the pre-screening photocalls is any indication of the quality of the movie itself, let's just say that this is going to be one hell of a film. In fact, everyone's outfits were so perfectly put together that even with three separate premieres to choose from, we couldn't find a single one to hate. But in the sea of awesomeness, there were two sure standouts who deserve some extra attention for their style chops. Whose "Hunger Games" looks are we seriously hungry for?

...Yeah, as if we could pick anyone else. Jennifer Lawrence nailed it in gold-accented gowns in L.A. and London, but it was her amazing change-up for the Paris premiere that makes her a Style Superstar. The heels! The dress! The dress!!! And whether it was a smart tip from her stylist or just something ooh-la-la in the water, Jennifer's sleek and sophisticated look—so different from her usual—was a serious head-turner. Even the red lipstick is killer.

Don Draper may be making his big comeback later this month, but his wardrobe never left. These days, a well-tailored suit and trendy skinny tie can be just as easily rocked by a daring gal as a dapper guy—and this week, two of our favorite ladies stepped out in the sort of two-piece that's meant for business, not the beach. Whose ladylike twist on classic menswear is a fashion-forward winner? And whose attempt to suit herself didn't quite pan out? Keep reading!

Elizabeth Olsen has caught our attention before for her effortless, understated glamour on the red carpet—but this week, it was her bold choice of outfit for a "Today" show appearance that won Style Superstar honors. Her straight-from-the-catwalk velvet pantsuit by The Row, paired with snakeskin pumps and a big leather bag, reminds us of Diane Keaton's iconic style from "Annie Hall"—except dressed-up, less rumpled and meant for doing some serious business. We assume she left the studio and fired, like, 20 people, then closed a billion-dollar deal over a two-martini lunch at The Palm. In the best possible way.

In the five days since the Oscars, there's been no shortage of fashion gossip about the ensembles of Hollywood's A-listers—not to mention an ongoing, healthy debate about Angie's Leg, JLo's Nipple and Emma Stone's Giant Neck Bow. But the nice thing about Oscar night is that everyone, not just the usual famous faces, can be found on the red carpet in their finest formal wear. And this week, two ladies we don't usually see here on Hollywood Crush debuted two strikingly similar looks: one a major hit, and one that just missed the mark. Who? Check it!

Judy Greer is a prolific actress, but we rarely see her in our weekly rundown of celeb fashionistas...which is why we were extra-excited to see her in this daring dress. A different color pairing might have sent this gown's colorblocked look into racing stripe territory, but with the combination of black and silver, it's just deliciously deco—and as classy and understated yet eye-catchingly unique as the actress wearing it. Judy might not have taken home a statuette on Sunday, but she's definitely a Style Superstar!

It doesn't happen every day that two pretty celebs show up in our weekly fashion feed wearing dresses on a distinct theme—but that's exactly what happened this week, when one beautiful blonde went head-to-toe red in a long-sleeved, body-hugging, floor-sweeping gown...and then another showed up in a slightly less-formal take on the same hue and silhouette. But while one of them tickled our fancy, the other just cramped our style file. Who's this week's Style Superstar?

It's Hayden Panettiere! Hayden's long-sleeved take on the classic Greek goddess-style gown was described as "too nun-like" by some other fashion critics, but we dig its quirky appeal. The tomato-red color is great on Hayden, and makes the modest cut that much more interesting...and let's face it, the bright yellow clutch and sky-high python-print shoes make this a look that's much too fresh and wild for the nunnery. And while things got a little crazy from the back—the dress has a keyhole detail topped by a miles-long bow that reached nearly to her knees—the actress' big, confident smile goes to show that sometimes, the best fashion is also just for fun.

A body-hugging gown made of all-over sequins is a tough look to pull off; it requires a fabulous figure, miles of confidence and the presence of mind to keep far, far away from any event attendees who opted for a dress featuring fringe or embroidery (lest you end up irrevocably tangled together all night thanks to an accidental brush-by on the way to the ladies' room.) But this week, two starlets did their darndest to sport this sparkly style...and one of them is our Superstar! Who wowed the crowd in her silver gown? And whose dress wasn't quite shiny enough to eclipse the problems with her winter white look? Read on!

Christina Ricci showed up in this silver-sequined gown to the "Bel Ami" premiere... and while we could probably write 500 words about how much we love it, we really just need one: daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. Christina is seriously bangin' in the body-hugging dress, and while many actresses would have gone the extra mile with a sleek updo, her choice to leave her fringe where it is adds a fresh, fun vibe to this super-sexy look.

We might be in the depths of mid-winter, but that didn't stop Hollywood's stylish ladies from hiking up their hemlines at various events this week. From premieres to parties to charity events, from New York to L.A., there were lots of lovely legs to be seen walking the red carpet. And this week, we picked two of our favorite leggy looks for Style Superstar consideration.

Keke Palmer busted out this one-strap Guishem minidress for the "Think Like a Man" premiere this week, managing to look collected and classy despite a super-high hemline that would have most ladies doing the Nervous Tugdown all night. And Keke, a veteran sporter of ultra-short skirts, knew better than to go overboard with accessories on such a subtle winner; simple long locks, sleek black shoe, and one big sparkler of a cocktail ring were all that was needed to set off the leather accents at the shoulder and waist. We don't know if this girl can think like a man, but she can certainly dress like a superstar!

As colors go, gray can get a bad rap for being dull and drab. Gray skies? Blah. Gray days? Gloomy. But when it comes to sophisticated style, a mist-colored gown can make for one colorful statement—as demonstrated by a pair of "Glee"-ful girls at the SAG Awards last Sunday. There was nothing grim or ghostly about these gray ladies as they walked the red carpet in two of the evening's most stunning looks. Whose gray glimmer was a cut above the rest of the palette? And whose leggy look cut a little too deep?

Naya Rivera was a stone-cold stunner when she took to the red carpet in this Naeem Kahn gown, winning Style Superstar honors with subtle sparkle, a plunging neckline and a classic silhouette. The almost-lavender gray of the dress is a perfect complement to the warm bronze tones in Naya's skin, and this understated look—with soft waves and only the barest accessories—is sophisticated without being showy.
