Twitterting Twilighters, your day has finally arrived! So while you line up to finally see "New Moon" for the first (or second...or third...) time today, you might just run into someone famous. It seems Hollywood can't stay away from the "Twilight" craze ("The Hills" star Lo Bosworth got an early start, "twilight at 1050am? okay!") either, especially when it comes to the Team Jacob/Team Edward debate. Actress ("Friends") and comedian Aisha Tyler tweeted, "Just left New Moon. Wasn't one female in there younger than 25. And that is because Jacob is hotter n' yo granny on hot flashes. #teamjacob" And while she might also be older than 25, "One Life to Live" star Bree Williamson felt like a tween again today, posting, "Dear New Moon, thank you for making my heart happy and my soul 16 again!! 'sigh'...."
As "New Moon" continues to make young Hollywood swoon, news of Oprah's impending departure from television is having the opposite effect. Oprah herself (pictured) announced on her Twitter today, "Big Day....tune in my tweet friends." Singer Rob Thomas pondered, "OPRAH is going to stop filming her show in 2011. but......who will tell me what to feel?" and "Biggest Loser" trainer Bob Harper cried, "What are we going to do without OPRAH!!!" But, it was Ashton Kutcher, who came up with how Oprah's fans can cope today, tweeting, "Let's send Oprah 4 million hugs today!"

For all those "New Moon" fanatics who will be hitting up tonight's midnight screenings, your long wait is officially winding down. If you plan on catching a show tonight in L.A. you might want to keep your eyes akimbo for one of the stars of the film. Tinsel Korey, who plays Emily Young, dropped this news to her West Coast followers, "So excited! Midnight tonight. You might see me pop up at a random theatre in L.A. Look for the motorcycle and chucks :)". Of course, some of the "Twilight" saga's fans are new to the scene and will be checking out the movie a little later in the weekend, like "Cory in the House" actress Madison Pettis, who tweeted, "Watched Twilight (part 1) on dvd last night--LOVED IT!! Can't wait to go see New Moon on Saturday!!"
We know one person who won't be able to make it out to theaters this weekend is poor Jordin Sparks (pictured)! The "American Idol" songstress spread the word today via her Twitter that she, "Was struck w/ acute appendicitis...took out that appendix last night. Recovering today & the next week or so." While Jordin takes it easy (get well soon!), it looks like Justin Bieber is feeling more than sprightly post-sickness, tweeting, "About to go on @itsonalexa on MTV!! Why do I always go on mtv the day after I'm sick. Haha. This is gonna be fun. She wants me. Haha. Jk"

Johnny Depp doesn't have a Twitter (sigh), but we imagine he'd say something quite humble and sweet about People dubbing him "The Sexiest Man Alive." Nick Cannon (pictured), while grateful, decided to go a somewhat more boisterous route, announcing via his Twitter that he was amongst some of the magazine's picks for Hollywood hotties, "Ya boy makes People magazine's Sexiest Men issue!! - http://bit.ly/F1kGr." But Nick sounded downright shy compared to fellow sexy man Chris Daughtry, who tweeted, "Ok, modesty aside...It's about time PEOPLE!!! Hahahaha."
So while congrats are in order for the fellas, we also have to send kudos to Kendra Wilkinson for getting (slightly odd) bragging rights from People as well. "Two and a Half Men" star Melanie Lynskey passed along the news, "The 2nd most read story this week on people.com: 'Kendra Wilkinson Loves Her Big Blue Snuggie.'" As Kendra Wilkinson keeps cozy, some other ladies in Hollywood have far too much going on to take a Snuggie (or Slanket, we don't judge) break. Just ask ultimate multi-tasker Mandy Moore, who wrote to fans, "recorded with a 70 piece orchestra for "rapunzel" yesterday. indescribably magical. one of the cooler things i've ever been a part of....." Take that, Daughtry!

After last night's play-by-play of the "New Moon" premiere in LA (The dresses! The signs! The Pattinson!) we wanted to see how the stars felt after all the premiere madness on Twitter. Jamie Campbell Bower posted on his page, "Wow. Utterly amazing last night was. Thank you to everyone who camped out, showed their support or was there in spirit. Love you. x" and Edi Gathegi (pictured, left) wrote, "Thank you everyone! Last night was spectacular. Hope we do well this weekend. And hope you love the film!" No need to worry there, Edi, we can pretty much foresee both of those things happening. But, the hardcore fans weren't the only ones getting love from last night's festivities, the film's director Chris Weitz (pictured, right) got props from his stars today. After giving kudos to fans, Gil Birmingham gave love to the man at the helm, "Really amazing movie. Chris Weitz is a master." Ditto Tinsel Korey who tweeted, "By the way... the movie was awesome. Wolf Pack rocks! Mr. Weitz you have made an amazing film. :)"
Of course, we've all got to find something to do to kill time until the movie's release this Friday! Luckily, some new tunes dropped today and we know which albums Taylor Swift will be jamming with, "Two of my favorite boys have albums out today: @johncmayer and @justinbieber. Good luck this week!" Both her boys showed their gratitude via Twitter. Justin Bieber, whose album has been climbing the charts steadily all day, took to his Twitter to thank all his followers, "getting alot of congrats and this is a fairytale type messages. Just wanted 2 say thank u 2 all of u for 2day because u made this dream real," while John Mayer wrote a gracious, "It's here - Battle Studies. Having a quiet afternoon filled with gratitude. Thanks everyone for following along..."

As we count down to "New Moon" finally hitting theaters (four days to go....well...three if you're planning on hitting up a midnight show like us) the stars of the "Twilight" series are gearing up for tonight's big Los Angeles premiere (we'll be live blogging, so check back with us at 8pm EST!) While Alex Meraz heads into tonight's festivities relaxed and ready, explaining, "Just getting outta the shower about to eat my WHEATIES I'm gonna need it today." Peter Facinelli opted to take a more stressful approach, tweeting, "Many people wonder what celebs do the morning of their movie premiere. I would like know 2, seeing how I'm at the DMV renewing my license." "Aliens in the Attic" star Carter Jenkins might not be a Cullen or a wolfpack member, but he still gets to party at tonight's big event, bragging, "Goodbye concrete jungle. Headed home. Then going to the New Moon premiere tonight."
While the eyes of Hollywood fix themselves on today's impending hysteria, there was still plenty going on around the Twitterverse. Just ask the Jonas Brothers, who reached a Twitter benchmark today, announcing, "Thanks to all of our incredible fans, we now have over 1 Million followers on Twitter! You all rock!!!- JB." And, it may not be an official holiday, "The Office" star Rainn Wilson declared, "Today I dedicate to Lady Gaga." So, Lady Gaga (pictured) we hope you enjoy your very own day (courtesy of Dwight Schrute!)

Things feeling a little bit on the eerie side today? Well, in case you forgot today was Friday the 13th, celebs took to their Twitters to remind you about the doom-filled day. "New Moon" wolfpack girl Tinsel Korey tweeted, "it's Friday the 13th....creepy! " and "The Hills" star Lo Bosworth wrote a similar, " friday the 13th...sPooOoOoOky." Of course, leave it to "Vampire Diaries" spooky storyteller Kevin Williamson, to remind us about the man who made this day so terrifying, Jason Voorhees, tweeting, "Just realized it was "Kill, kill, kill, kill..." day. " We'd be mad at Kevin for reminding us about that, but last night's "VD" was great, so, Kev, we'll let that one slide.
While some stars use Twitter to freak us out, others use it as a tool to share good news. Hollywood's go-to man Ryan Seacrest shared how he found out about why David Beckham might start to look more and more like Brad Pitt (pictured right with David). Ryan posted, "David Beckham just called...i asked why he grew the beard...he said 'I saw Brad Pitt & thought he looked really good'" Bearded or not, we'll take either version of both guys! But, Seacrest wasn't the only one bringing good news, "New Moon" star Peter Facinelli made Michigan's fans' day by letting them know, "Going 2 b at Frenchtown Square Mall in Monroe,Michigan tomorrow Nov14 signing autographs. noon -5. 2121 north Monroe street. Come visit"

Yesterday the TV world got quite the shock when it was announced that Joss Whedon's cult series "Dollhouse" would be getting the ax. The show's star Eliza Dushku (pictured with Joss) took to her Twitter to talk to fans about the too soon departure. Eliza confirmed, "Hear it here. Hey, that's really why I started twitter, the rumors/news IS true: Dollhouse will not cont. past these 13 eps :(," and later posted, "BUT... There's always a but... I can't express enough-- this has been one of the MOST rewarding experiences of my career. Thank you guys!" While we're very sad to see "Dollhouse" go, at least we'll still be able to get our Whedon fix on "Glee" soon.
While Eliza Dushku deals with the loss of her show, Britney Spears had to put up with the dreaded hacked Twitter page. Brit's camp alerted followers, "Britney's twitter account was just hacked. The situation has been resolved and we apologize for any offense the hacker's messages caused." Elsewhere, Alyssa Milano tweet battled (twattled?) her own online imposter, posting, "Really, @AlyMilano?"
Check out what else was going on in the Twitterverse, besides hacked accounts, that is. From Katerina Graham's #1 "Vampire Diaries" fan, to Mark Hoppus' and Joel Madden's not-so-sweet dreams (they should be having Tweet Dreams instead, don't ya think?)

As the nation honors those who have served for our country, celebs took to their Twitter pages to pay their respects on this Veteran's Day. Matchbox Twenty crooner Rob Thomas posted, "to all of the men and women of our military who have sacrificed and to their families who waited for them to come home safe, thank you," while "ER" actor and current Broadway star John Stamos (pictured) shared a similar sentiment, writing on his page, "my love, respect and thanks to all those who serve or have served and thank you to your familes for all of your sacrifices." For some, today's holiday has a much deeper meaning, like for that of "New Moon" star Gil Birmingham who shared, "As the son of someone who served in the military, I know the work and sacrifices our soldiers and their families make for this country." On behalf of all of us at Hollywood Crush, we too would like to thank all those who have served our country. Happy Veterans Day to you all.
We're sure there will be mention of the holiday at tonight's Country Music Awards, which the stars have been gearing up for all day. Jennette McCurdy was anxious for the ceremony, tweeting, "I've got butterflies in my stomach - can't wait for CMAs tonight!," while cool-as-a-cucumber Taylor Swift (hey, after Kanye and "SNL" the girl has nothing left to sweat!) got ready in an unorthodox fashion, "Getting all pumped up for the CMA's, blasting timbaland 'morning after dark' in the dressing room. PARTY!!"

Shanna Moakler (pictured, left) made a bit of an ass of herself today during her visit to the "The Wendy Williams Show" when she called Khloe Kardashian (pictured, right) a "donkey." The comment prompted a Twitter battle (hey, at least this time it wasn't with ex-hubby Travis Barker again!) as Mrs. Lamar Odom tweeted, "I have no idea who this girl is but I guess she is talking about me. Talk on honey... I can care less LOL" and "Cheetah Girls" starlet Adrienne Bailon fueled the fire, posting to her friend, "Want me to fight her for you?!?!?! " But, Shanna quickly apologized after the incident, writing, "@KhloeKardashian, you are right. We don't know each other personally and I apologize for my comment this morning..." Why do we get the impression this isn't quite over yet? Oh, right, because a few hours later, Shanna tweeted this, "I've never liked Paris, lyndsey or kim, for VALID reasons, nor hid the fact. I apologized to Khloe Get over it. This isn't news." Uh, too late!
Rest assured it wasn't all drama in Hollywood this afternoon. As a matter of fact, most of our favorite stars were too busy celebrating their People's Choice Award nominations to care about much else. "Vampire Diaries" hottie Ian Somerhalder tweeted to fans, "Uhh, anyone who voted for VD for a People's choice award we thank very very much! Cheers" while Emily Osment posted, "Just nominated for a People’s Choice Award for 'Breakout Movie Actress!' Vote now here - http://ow.ly/B6cg." The People's Choice Awards will air January 2, 2010, so be sure to get the movement started for your favorites now.

We always knew anything "Twilight" related should come with a "May Cause Fainting" warning, but now one of the series' stars had to find that out all on his own. As the "New Moon" cast heads out on the road for their promo tour. Alex Meraz, who plays Paul, also needs his own Rob Pattinson emergency kit (autograph pen, smelling salts.) Alex, who earlier tweeted, "prowling the streets and studios doing our last day of press in Denver," posted about the passing out: "I finally got a 'fainter!' I'd been wanting one for awhile Thanks for making me feel like MileyCyrus And thanks to the cops for catching her."
While it may not cause any fainting spells (though it would be awfully convenient, seeing as they're in a hospital setting), it seems like there's a whole lot of excitement over on the set of the ready-to-return "Scrubs." Fans of "Chocolate bear" and "Vanilla bear," a.k.a Turk and J.D. can rejoice as the two are back to their old shennanigans (even if they are on a new network.) Donald Faison (who plays lovable surgeon Turk, pictured with Zach Braff) tweeted, "Zach's back this week... I'm so excited!!!" and even posted a pic of his costar Zach Braff, "Look who's back! http://yfrog.com/7cdvtj" We like what we're seeing already!
