Nick and Jess have had the summer to figure out their relationship. And with "New Girl" returning on Tuesday night, fans will finally get to see what happens between the twosome since they declared their love for one another at the end of last season.

And star Zooey Deschanel told TVGuide.com that fans should be excited that the couple has decided to, well, couple up.

James Franco Mindy Project

Prepare yourselves! James Franco is ready to challenge Dr. Mindy on the new season of "The Mindy Project," which kicks off Tuesday night.

And given just how adorable his Dr. Paul Leotard is, we think Mindy might have a hard time kicking him to the curb and reclaiming her practice from the model turned OB/GYN. "His name is Paul Leotard, which is a ridiculous name and the fact that he was like 'Yeah that's a great name for the character,' he just rolls with everything," star Mindy Kaling explained to MTV News. "In fact, when he introduced himself to me on the show he pronounced it 'Lay-o-tard,' which is even funnier to me. He just wants to be the weirdest, funniest version of himself."

Nina DobrevIf there's one thing a girl can count on from bad-boy bloodsucker Damon Salvatore, it's a well-timed, pithy quip that completely sums up her feelings on, well, everything. And, wow, does he deliver in an extended promo for the season five premiere of "The Vampire Diaries" when he deadpans, "If I have to hear the word 'doppelganger' one more time, I'm going to have to learn how to spell it."

Yes. This. (Though, after four years covering The CW series, that's one spelling we've finally mastered.) Regardless, while "The Vampire Diaries" is known for its dizzying plot twists, all these lookalikes running around may prove just too much for us to follow without the aid of a flowchart. Case in point: In the clip below we see Elena (along with bestie Caroline) embracing college co-ed life while her doppelganger soaks in boyfriend Damon's bathtub, inches away from locking lips with ex-boyfriend Stefan's doppelganger Silas. Follow?

Maybe you should just watch for yourself...

The season premiere of "Glee" is just two weeks away, and Gleeks are getting an eye-popping first look at the Beatles-themed premiere thanks to a new set of stills.

And if you were wondering just how colorful the Beatles episodes (the first two of the season) would be, well, wonder no more. The premiere, "Love Love Love," will be a rainbow of bright costumes, marching bands and carnival attractions. As for the episode's plot, it seems Klaine will finally (maybe) make a decision about their future, while Rachel's ambitions will take an unlikely turn.

Welcome to Whitmore College!

The CW has released a slew of new images from the season-five premiere of "The Vampire Diaries"—appropriately titled "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (shout-out to Kevin Williamson!)—capturing Elena and Caroline's first days as college co-eds.

"They're really committed to enjoying life and enjoying college and being college freshmen. It's a good plan—too bad it's not going to work," executive producer Julie Plec told Hollywood Crush regarding the girls' matriculation. "Of course things will go instantly, terribly wrong, because that's what always happens, but they remain committed to trying to have a true college experience and it bonds them in a really good way."

When "Pretty Little Liars" returns in 2014 (after an October Halloween episode, that is), it might look a little less colorful. The official Twitter account for the ABC Family series dropped an interesting detail today; namely, that an upcoming episode will be filmed in black-and-white!

Sounds very Hitchcockian, right? We can't wait to see how the episode—fittingly titled "Shadow Play"—looks.

The actress revealed the news to Ebony: "Of course you’re going to get to see a lot of Taystee in season two [of ‘Orange’], and I just shot an episode of 'Girls' for HBO. I will be the first Black woman to be on ‘Girls,’ so that’s exciting for me,” she explained about joining Lena Dunham and her crew of motley pals.

In addition to Danielle, it was also recently revealed that rock goddess/Sonic Youth bassist Kim Gordon will also appear on the next season of the HBO show. So...does this mean Rachel nabbed the role of Fanny Brice in the "Funny Girl" musical she auditioned for at the end of "Glee"'s fourth season? We can't say for sure, but this snap from the New York City set of FOX's song-and-dance series certainly gives us hope!

The actress took to Twitter today to share the image of herself grinning on the Great White Way, and we're anxious to see what Manhattan shenanigans Rachel, Kurt and Santana get up to next season.
