Beautiful BastardLast week—hot on the well-shod heels of Christina Lauren's "Beautiful Stranger" coming to town—Hollywood Crush had the distinct pleasure of not only revealing the title of the sexy series' third installment, but also getting the scoop straight from the authors about what fans can expect from "Beautiful Player."

If you're familiar with the backstory of Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings' first novel "Beautiful Bastard," you know its genesis was as a "Twilight" fanfic titled "The Office." And, of course, it's not the first (or likely the last) fic to get a big-time publishing deal. (Maybe you've heard of a damaged billionaire named Christian Grey?) So with that in mind, we asked the authors to weigh in on other fics they'd like to see on a bookshelf in their local Barnes & Noble. But as Lauren pointed out, it's not as straightforward as all that.

"I think it's kind of a tricky question because a lot of the fic that I really love was so deeply rooted in 'Twilight,'" Lauren explained. "One of the reasons I felt excited to come onto this project was because I felt like there weren't any ties to it, it was just a way for Christina to write a fun, sexy story and get a lot of feedback. So the number of stories you can actually divorce from the 'Twilight' content is really small, even though the number of stories that just blew my mind are huge."

After nearly two years, a billion YouTube views and countless parodies, 2013 really seemed like it might be the year in which "Gangnam Style" would slink away at last to the graveyard of pop-cultural juggernauts, where it would rest on its laurels until the end of time. But no! Not yet! Because hello, we still hadn't seen the Volturi busting out their most excellent K-Pop jig moves in a "Breaking Dawn"/Gangnam Style mash-up!

Thankfully, the talented Hindi sisters of the world-famous "The Hillywood Show" have been working hard to bring us just that thing, with a new video that recasts the final chapter of the Twilight Saga as an epic techno-beat dance-a-thon.

Stephenie Meyer"Twilight" might have officially ended its reign on the Grand High Throne of Pop Culture, but its intriguing legacy is still going strong. Check this out: Five years after the publication of the last volume in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling series about sparkly vampires and shapeshifting wolfmen, the author has revealed an interesting bit of trivia about the much-discussed, forever-unfinished manuscript for "Midnight Sun" —a revisit of the "Twilight" story from Edward's point of view. In an interview with the BBC, Stephenie explained how it actually came to be leaked online.

"At first it was quite scary, because I had had my e-mail hacked once, and there was sort of this feeling like people were getting into my computer," she recalled. "But after I was able to track it down, it turned out that wasn't the case at all."

They just can't quit each other. Cam Gigandet will re-team with "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke on a new CBS series called “Reckless.” After directing Cam to greatness in the vampire romance and the upcoming flick “Plush,” she's helming the show’s pilot.

The series is set in Charleston, South Carolina, according to Deadline, and will revolve around Cam’s attorney character, his attraction to a "Yankee" lawyer and a chief of police who will be played by a dude who used to mingle with Don Draper (“Mad Men” actor Michael Gladis). Apparently sex scandals are involved in a major way, so how can you go wrong? The film will also take some cues from the classic 1981 noir “Body Heat.” We reiterate, how can you go wrong?

One question was on everyone's mind at last night's red carpet before the Oscars, aside from "How awesome is Jennifer Lawrence?" People wanted to know why Kristen Stewart showed up to the big event on crutches.

We heard some rumors about broken glass, but it all sounded a little suspicious to us, so we went to our own inside source, Kristen's "Twilight" co-star Peter Facinelli, to see what he knew about the incident.

"That's what I wanted to know from you," Peter told MTV News. "I don't know [what happened to Kristen]. I was nowhere near her. I didn't push her or anything. I didn't do it. It wasn't me. I just saw her on crutches. I have to text her and find out what happened. She's not clumsy. Bella's clumsy. It's just a movie."

Let's be honest: Emmett Cullen doesn't always get his due in the big-screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's "The Twilight Saga." But, thankfully, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" director Bill Condon had the good sense to leave in one of the vampire's most beloved moments—in which he cavalierly agrees to arm wrestle newborn Bella...and things don't go as expected.

It's a moment, in fact, that earned praise from both Stephenie and Bill, especially as it relates to Kristen's portrayal of the bloodsucker. And you can hear it all by watching our EXCLUSIVE featurette, which we're debuting in advance of the DVD/Blu-ray release on March 2.
