Just call us She-lock Holmes because we've been snooping days now for clues regarding that mysterious "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" bonus scene teased by star Kellan Lutz recently. Yesterday, we asked cast mate Ashley Greene for her insight on the bite, but she didn't have much intel to shell. So, today, we turn to fellow saga starlet Nikki Reed, who seems to know something Ashley doesn't.
"If it's what I think it is, it's really awesome," she told MTV News at the AXE Showerpooling campaign kickoff at USC in L.A. "It was a surprise moment on set that was pretty incredible. That day, there were like 150 of us, and we all came together and planned this thing—this secret thing—and we surprised Bill, so I hope it's that thing."
When we informed her that we knew exactly what thing she was referring to—that "Sweet Dreams" dance number—Nikki revealed even more details about the stunt.
With just six weeks to go before "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" finally makes its way into theaters, audiences are starting to get a little antsy in the pantsy for some hot Volturi-on-vampire action and the long-awaited conclusion to our favorite supernatural romance. The bad news is, you've still gotta wait 'til November 16 to enjoy the fifth and final film. The good news is...well, look! Pretty, pretty pictures! Which you really should stop sobbing and gnawing on the woodwork long enough to look at, honestly, we know you're dying for more "Twilight" but this is taking it way too far.
Our updated gallery of stills from the film features never-before-seen—or at least, never-before-seen from THIS ANGLE—shots of the cast in action, with notable inclusions such as Bella's arm-wrestling competition with Emmett, the newlywed Cullens doing some forested surveillance, Renesmee meeting Charlie, and, of course, two distinct photos of the masterpiece that is Charlie's mustache. (Mark our words: this will be the year that the mustache wins an Oscar. Maybe even a Lifetime Achievement Award. Someone must recognize its greatness!)
After a 24-hour, worldwide countdown beginning in New Zealand and concluding at dawn today in Los Angles, the final one-sheet for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" has been unveiled on the film's Facebook page!
The poster depicts Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner)—along with their toothy allies—charging towards the Volturi in the snow-covered forest of Forks, hinting at a potentially monumental battle to come. The tagline simply reads: "The epic finale that will live forever."

Sure, we have plenty of theories regarding "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" bonus scene teased by Kellan Lutz last month, but that doesn't mean we won't angle for something a bit more concrete when faced with one of the series' stars. To wit, when we caught up with Ashley Greene (a.k.a. Alice Cullen) in anticipation of her upcoming comedy "Butter," we just had to ask about the clip in question.
"He's probably in it," Ashley joked of her co-star's motivation for spilling the news, adding, "I did hear they are doing something very special at the end 'cause [we are] ending out the saga."
When MTV News caught up with "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer earlier this summer at San Diego Comic-Con, the authoress let slip an interesting tidbit: namely, that she'd be open to a cinematic reboot of her vampire romance...in the not-too-near future.
"I think that obviously that could happen, and in the right scenario it might be something I'd be excited about, I mean, 15 years down the line," she said. "It would be cool to revisit it in 15 years. It would be fun."
It would be, Stephenie! But why wait 15 years for the laughs? Our friends at NextMovie certainly aren't! They looked into their crystal ball (or perhaps asked a certain psychic vamp) to discover which actors and actresses would suit up as Bella, Edward and Jacob in a reboot, circa 2030. Little Suri Cruise as our clumsy protagonist? It could happen!

Kristen Stewart may have been in Toronto to support her latest film, the big-screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac's iconic "On the Road," but as we're wont to do here at MTV News, we couldn't help but pepper our Beat-friendly inquiries with a question or two about her other impending film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." Always a good sport, Kristen was happy to oblige, sharing her completely non-biased (obviously) review of the series' conclusion.
"It's so good. It's good," she said. "It's really weird. I think everyone probably knows that and expects that. I'm so very proud. I'm very happy with how it closes. It was a lot to take in, and it was rough."
When Josh Horowitz inquired as to which part was the roughest for her to watch, KStew had to clarify:
"No, it's a rough cut."
If you were planning to gear up for the release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" with a marathon viewing of every single one of the prior "Twilight" movies in order... oh come on, yes you were, we all were, so don't even pretend okay?! But now, there are two exciting options for your pre-"Dawn" rewatch! You can either:
a. make it a girl's night in with your "Twilight" DVD collection, where you can hysterically sob your way through the films in relative privacy without embarrassment, or
b. enjoy a Summit-sponsored marathon of the saga in your local theater, where you can...also hysterically sob your way through the films without embarrassment, because everyone in the audience will be doing the exact same thing.
We served up your first taste of the final "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" trailer during last week's MTV Video Music Awards, and now Yahoo! Movies has an extended cut of the clip.
So what's new in this latest look? Well, to start, there's an expository scene in which Carlisle Cullen explains what an immortal child is and the consequences of creating one—a sequence that's intercut with a flashback of bloodsuckers of yore being punished for just such a crime. Next, in a voice over, Bella explains that the Cullen clan is beginning the search for other vampire allies "in the most remote corners of the world." Then we see Kate from the Denali coven use her electric powers on Garrett, who's a total smitten kitten.
And those are just a few of the differences we spotted. Check out the extended "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" trailer after the jump and tell us what you see!
Dawn broke in fantastic fashion at last night's MTV Video Music Awards when stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser presented the LAST TRAILER EVER for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." And it was good. Real good.
Of course, it wasn't our first look at the concluding chapter of author Stephenie Meyer's vampire romance. An earlier clip debuted in June, giving us the teeniest taste of the big battle to come. But what additional morsels emerged in this latest look? Let's play a round of Spot the Differences! Winner gets a cougar corpse!
Bella Bags a Mountain Lion
The first "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" trailer gave plenty of play to Bella's brand-new vamp speed, showing her sprinting through the forests of Forks. In the new clip, we see just how much of a transformation the once-clumsy teen has undergone, as she flies through the air with the greatest of ease to take out her much-larger prey. Mmmmm, dinner!
Kristen Stewart took a "Twilight" timeout last night to support her other upcoming film, "On the Road," alongside co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was her first public appearance since the cheating scandal, and the 22-year-old looked chic in a floral Zuhair Murad dress as she enthused about the premiere's robust turnout.
"Dude, I'm really happy that they're here for 'On the Road,' " she told MTV News. "I think most of them were fans before I had anything to do with it, which is why they're here anyways, so it's awesome."

Meanwhile, back in the states at the MTV Video Music Awards, Kristen's bloodsucking and shape-shifting cohorts (including Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser) were on hand to present the final trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." And after having gotten a sneak peek at the clip, our own Josh Horowitz had just one question for the starlet: What do you have against mountain lions?
