For teenage celebs, the dress-related stress of making a public appearance comes with an extra challenge attached: How to dress up without dressing old. Fashion-conscious young stars have a fine line to walk when it comes to what they wear on the red carpet, and the most savvy ones take a lot of care to keep their wardrobe from maturing before they do! And this week, we've got two young ladies in our style spotlight—one with a youthful, flirty look that's as colorful as she is, and one whose attempt at a grownup transition ended up as a washed-out misstep. Who's on the radar for Style Superstardom?

It's Chloe Moretz who's this week's winner—sporting a dotty Kenzo dress in a bold, shiny violet fabric when she arrived to accept a Big Screen Achievement Award at CinemaCon. The actress has had trouble before in striking the right balance and dressing her age, but the event's award-winner for Female Star of Tomorrow's look is clearly on her game today: This ensemble is fun, flattering, and not too formal for the 15-year-old star. And since she's made the savvy choice to let the dress speak for itself, with nothing but soft hair and strappy shoes to complete the look, we've got to award Chloe props for fashion maturity along with her Style Superstar honors.

Guys, did you know that the plot of "The Five-Year Engagement" is not just a work of fiction invented for the purpose of further showcasing the charms of Jason Segel and Emily Blunt? People actually stay engaged for five years—sometimes more! Crazy!

MTV News sought out the advice and opinions of relationship expert and San Diego dating coach DeAnna Lorraine on the subject, specifically why long-term engagements are a bad idea and why women should be careful to maintain a separate life from their fiance.

If you haven't watched last night's emotionally stirring episode of "The Vampire Diaries," stop what you're doing and do so, then come back to this post.

At the special screening of "Do Not Go Gentle" that Hollywood Crush and a handful of select television press attended earlier this week, executive producer Julie Plec, Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy), Zach Roerig (Matt), Michael Trevino (Tyler) and Candice Accola (Caroline) were on-hand to discuss the heavy duty Alaric-centric storyline, the remainder of this season and what the future holds for several story lines, including the show's central love triangle.

As the episode began to play, Michael covered his face the first time he's onscreen. He confessed that he's always uncomfortable watching himself on TV. By the time "Do Not Go Gentle" was over, Julie was drying tears from her eyes (as many viewers, no doubt, later did at home). As ever, her attachment to her show was palpable.

Chloe Moretz is undoubtedly one of this year's hottest young actresses. Her latest film, "Dark Shadows," starring Johnny Depp, hits theaters on May 11; she recently landed a huge role playing the title character in "Carrie" and she's gracing the cover of Seventeen magazine's May issue.

"I'm incredibly excited to be on the cover of Seventeen magazine," the actress said. "It's probably one of the biggest things I've ever done because I've been reading this magazine since I was a little girl, so to be able to be on something that I grew up reading—and still do read—is pretty amazing."

Speaking of, Seventeen is hosting their second annual Pretty Amazing cover contest. It's open to all the talented, teenage girls in America who have an inspirational story to tell. And though she's an accomplished actress, it's not fame that Chloe said makes an amazing person.

Kristen StewartGroovy baby! "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart covers the June issue of Elle UK looking every inch the '60s bombshell in a curve-hugging Jill Sander ensemble and sleek bob.

The shoot took place in L.A. in March and is the second KStew has done for the British pub.

The actress is getting plenty of period-piece practice beyond the pages of fashion mags too. There's her turn as the fairest of them all in the upcoming "Snow White and the Huntsman," which opens June 1. But before she slays in her suit of armor, Kristen will get with the Beat in "On the Road," which will compete at this year's Cannes Film Festival in May. Based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Jack Kerouac, the adaptation follows a group of friends on a cross-country trek during the jazz- and drug-fueled '50s.

Vampire Diariesby Cassie Title

I want to commend Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson for their choice of episode title, but I have to say that I think Dylan Thomas would be rolling over in his grave. His famous poem, from which last night’s episode title comes, boasts the line: "Do not go gentle into that good night / Rage, rage, against the dying of the light." It speaks to grand themes, like resisting death, not just for one’s self, but for one’s family left behind. Clearly, this relates to what we thought would be Alaric’s death for most of the show (except if you watch the series at all, you’d know that something crazy would happen, like Bonnie getting possessed by Esther and feeding Alaric her blood so that he wouldn’t die but complete his transformation), and how Jeremy and Elena felt as his family. Except, Alaric decided to go gentle into that good night, and stayed in the tomb waiting for death. But Bonnie, that pesky, pesky witch, raged against the dying of the light.

Secret Circleby Ryan J. Downey

If this show reveals any more secrets before the season finale, it may just have to change its name!

Last week, we learned that Diana is the Secret Sibling. On last night's new episode of "The Secret Circle," we got some majorly shocking news about another sibling from the Circle. Nick Armstrong, Cassie's old next door neighbor last seen possessed by a worm demon and being drowned by Charles, is alive!

During the closing moments of "The Secret Circle" last night, Diana and Cassie discovered that Jake's brother is the "Traitor" witch name-checked in the episode's title. He's the one who has been working against them with the witch hunters (and now working against the witch hunters, as well). As more pieces of Chance Harbor's history and John Blackwell's plan to finish what he started 16 years ago came to light, there were several confrontations: Diana confronting Charles, Diana confronting Cassie, and a super cool Charles vs. Blackwell throwdown in front of a crowd. Plus Jake and Faye made out (!) and Cassie kissed Adam (!!).

Jorma TacconeWhile not much can top the awkward factor of the opening scene from last week’s episode of “Girls,” this week’s chapter scales back the uncomfortable sex and replaces it with some saucy solo sex. Yep. That’s not a spoiler, just a tease.

Speaking of teases, there’s a new man on "Girls." An arrogant, self-obsessed young artist named Jonathan (played by the very likable and talented Jorma Taccone) who provides a welcome distraction/attraction for Marnie from her smothering, doormat of a boyfriend.

So what's Mr. Taccone up to on the show? MTV News recently caught up with the very busy writer/director and "SNL" Digital Short master to get a sneak peek of what to expect from his character and if there’s anything to like about him.

Our favorite starlets seem to be having a lot of fun in Rosewood. Ashley Benson tweeted a photo of her, Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell looking très chic! We later learned they were on the set of "Pretty Little Liars" when Shay tweeted the same photo writing, "In character." We're especially loving Lucy's skull skirt reflecting the typical rock flavor of Aria's wardrobe. Do you think they'd let us do a set visit and raid the wardrobe closet?

Ashley later tweeted, "Music video shot by @shaymitch twitvid.com/TXNU0." The clip shows Ashley laughing and dancing around to a song on her cell phone while carrying an issue of Shape magazine. Director Shay gives Ashley some pointers shouting, "Turn around now." But after Ashley finishes her carefree grooves she calls cut. Could film-making be in the girls' futures?
