It won't be long now before the movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' "The Lucky One" hits a theater near you—at which point the love-addled-but-gorgeously-muscled Iraq war veteran played by Zac Efron will claim his rightful place on the list of People In Movies You Wish You Could Actually Date. A list which is, let's be real, probably populated entirely by Nicholas Sparks characters, because Nicholas Sparks is a conniving villainous fiend who just wants you to know how very UNromantic your life is with the boyfriend he didn't make up in his wildly creative head. (Yeah, thanks, Nicholas. Thanks for the fact that no matter what we do, nobody is ever going to write us letters every day for a year and then make out with us in the rain and then love us forever and ever because Noah Calhoun is not real. It's not like that gave us unattainable expectations or anything.)

But much as we love to hate Nicholas Sparks, we love to love him, too, because the man's books are just so damnably adaptable for the screen! Which is why, over the past two decades, we've seen movie after movie featuring the words "based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks" on the poster—and why, while we wait for our New Fake Boyfriend Zac Efron to make his appearance in "The Lucky One," we're going back through all the films featuring Nicholas' stories to decide which is our favorite! And by ours, we mean yours. So c'mon, tell us: Which one of these tear-jerking, heart-breaking, relationship-comparison-inducing romance makes you the most crazy in the best possible way? Vote in our poll after the jump!

There are really only two things you need to know about this EXCLUSIVE "Battleship" clip, and they're named Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgård. The two hotties star as brothers in the alien invasion flick, which hits theaters May 18. And as part of our Summer Movie Preview week, we've nabbed a brand-new sneak peek, which finds Taylor celebrating his birthday with Alex's help. And, yes, Taylor's sporting Tim Riggins hair (Texas forever!). Model-turned-actress Brooklyn Decker also makes a tight-tank-top-wearing appearance, but we don't really care about her, right? I mean, it's Kitsch and Skarsgård. Together. If that's not enough to sear a reel of celluloid, I don't know what is.

If, for some inexplicable reason, this Bermuda Triangle of Hotness isn't enough to get your butt into a theater seat next month, Taylor spilled a few other reasons to see the flick.

Sad truth: Movie stars aren't always as smooth in real life as the characters they portray on screen. Take Ryan Gosling in "Drive," for example. It's not like he actually wanders the city streets saving damsels in distress. I mean...uh...right? Anyway, when we caught up with "The Lucky One" stars Taylor Schilling and Zac Efron in anticipation of their romantic drama's release, we were curious as to whether Zac could recall any Nicholas Sparks-worthy moments of his own.

"I'm sure I've said some of those lines," Zac admitted. "They're probably worse—not as good as the ones he's [Sparks] written, but they were excellent in the moment."

The gossip lines are abuzz this morning with the just-announced news of Anna Paquin's pregnancy—a first for the actress, who's married to her "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer. Exciting! (Think the baby will be a supernatural?)

No due date has been announced yet, but Anna's timing couldn't be better—with season five mostly in the can and not premiering 'til June, she should have plenty of downtime to rest, relax and wait for the arrival of her little one... and, of course, to get back in shape post-birth for "True Blood"'s nudie scenes before filming picks up for season six. But since delays can happen and schedules can change, we thought it would be a good idea to err on the side of caution, and put together a few suggestions for next-season storylines that'll let the show work around its star's pregnancy! You're welcome, HBO. You can put our royalty check in the mail.

Glee"Glee" did the world a favor this week when it decided to use the soundtrack from "Saturday Night Fever" as the source of all this week's songs. The album is a true classic, and it made for one of the most deserved tribute episodes. The 45-minute episode packed in eight songs and nearly as many storylines, so buckle up. It's dancin' time.

The episode, titled "Saturday Night Glee-ver," began with a no-explanation musical number from Blaine, as they all should. It so happens that the theme for nationals this year is "vintage," because the competitive show choir association didn't feel like coming up with anything more creative than that. Will reminisced about the time he went all the way to nationals singing disco, so he decided that's what the New Directions are going to do. I guess no one told Will that disco died in 1979.

Max Greenfield’s Schmidt probably shouldn’t leave us swooning week after week on “New Girl.” He’s bizarre, narcissistic and status-obsessed. But underneath all that bravado is a good friend who just wants to seem cooler than he really is. Add to that the fact that he's often not wearing a shirt, and he’s sort of won us over and earned this week’s Hump Day Hottie title.

Check out this dreamy photo of Max and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: The 31-year-old is from New York state, and a fun fact about him: He had a “Saturday Night Live”-themed Bar Mitzvah. Well, it seems his love of comedy has rubbed off in real life too. He recently revealed to GQ that he likes to joke around on Twitter.

No, that's not Hollywood's latest beauty secret. It's just the product of what actress Kristen Bell calls her "clumsiness." But how exactly does one manage to super glue her eyebrows?

We've definitely curled our eyelashes in the car only to rip a few out when the driver hits a bump. One word: OUCH! But eyebrows are already stuck to your forehead. Maybe the "Veronica Mars" actress accidentally got super glue on her cheek, brushed her hand across her eyebrow and a few brow hairs fell prey to the glue? It sounds comical, but it could happen!

Most people know Ashley Greene for her role as a vampire in "The Twilight Saga," but come this summer, Ashley will be on the other side of the haunting in "The Apparition." The movie follows a couple (played by Ashley and Sebastian Stan) who are spooked by a supernatural presence when a college experiment goes horribly awry.

Ashley told MTV News that playing the character of Kelly is a very different experience than playing Alice Cullen. "Kelly is very...human. Death is knocking at her door, and she is fighting for her survival," she said. "I had to take on a lot more loss, betrayal and vulnerability when playing Kelly."

If we didn't like Taylor Schilling so much we'd hate her. After all, the young starlet gets to lock lips (and more!) with dreamy, dreamy Zac Efron in this week's romantic drama "The Lucky One." In the film, Zac plays Marine Logan Thibault, who finds a photo of a young woman amidst the rubble of war-torn Iraq—a photo that ends up saving his life. Once he returns stateside, he goes on a journey to find that girl. Swoon-worthy, right?

It's no surprise we've been nursing a crush on Zac since his days at East High, but we're officially going on record with our feelings about his co-star Taylor and naming her this week's Girl Crush!

In exchange for the honor, we asked Taylor to dish up her own Girl Crush. "I have a Girl Crush on Kristen Wiig big time," Taylor admitted. "Kristen Wiig is my numero uno Girl Crush."

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

There's no place for Sharpay in "The Lucky One," the latest Nicholas Sparks tearjerker about an Iraq war veteran in search of the girl whose photograph was his wartime lucky charm—but that didn't stop Her Royal Blondness Ashley Tisdale from stopping by the premiere to support best bud Zac Efron in his role as a romantic leading man!

The pair was all smiles when they posed for this photo op at the afterparty, which came only hours after Ashley tweeted out her excitement at getting to see Zac in action. (Looks like she's one of the lucky ones who got a sneak peek at "The Lucky One" in an advance screening.)
