We're used to seeing Taylor Lautner play our favorite buff werewolf in "The Twilight Saga," ripping apart evil vampires and snarling at Edward. Even his role as lead actor in "Abduction" found him knocking out the bad guys with a few roundhouse kicks. But it looks like Taylor is ready to try his hand at comedy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor is set to make an appearance in Adam Sandler's "Grown Ups 2." He'll play a key "fun" role where he takes on Adam's character. Details are still being finalized, but skeptics who doubt the star's ability to make an audience laugh needn't worry. Taylor's proved himself before and we've gathered three reasons why the actor will make a successful transition into comedy.

Less than one week, Gleeks! Our favorite FOX musical series returns next Tuesday, and we're practically singing with joy. While the prom episode is still several weeks away, Lea Michele tweeted today that the cast is hard at work for the last shoot of the big dance!

Unfortunately, a careless extra leaked the identity of McKinley's prom king and queen before last year's episode, causing an uproar from fans and "Glee" producer Brad Falchuk. We're sure the cast and crew will be extra careful to keep it under wraps this time around, so all that's left is speculation. Our votes go to Sam and Mercedes.

Tonight we say goodbye to The CW dynasty known as "One Tree Hill." With nine seasons to its name, the show wraps for good with a two-hour series finale at 8/7 C.

It's been a long journey for Lucas and Nathan Scott, the two brothers from North Carolina. They started out as enemies and found a common bond through their love of Haley James (platonic for Lucas and true love for Nathan). They survived a school shooting, Coach Durham dropping them off in the middle of nowhere and more relationship troubles than we care to count.

They witnessed the rise and fall of their dreams as Lucas was left at the alter and Nathan was confined to a wheelchair in the middle of his NBA career. We laughed along to Nathan's and Mouth McFadden's strip tease at ladies' night and cried with Brooke Davis when she found out she couldn't have children.

But nothing prepared us for the moments on "One Tree Hill" that would leave us gasping in horror. As we say goodbye to the characters who've felt like our friends for years, we take a look back at the shocking moments that kept our wide eyes glued to the screen.

Shadowhunter fans have a lot to celebrate. Yesterday, the news broke that an official release date—August 23, 2013—had been set for the big-screen adaptation of "City of Bones," the first novel in Cassandra Clare's supernatural series. Additionally, Sony's Screen Gems will distribute the movie after passing it on to Constantin Film.

In fact, things are really ramping up on the long-gestating project according to Cassie. The author told Hollywood Crush via email that Francois Seguin, who was nominated for an Emmy for "The Borgias," has been tapped as production designer. Director Harald Zwartis is also busy rounding out his crew.

We don't know about you, but we're having a hard time waiting until November's "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" release to see more of our favorite vampire, Edward Cullen. Luckily, Robert Pattinson is still on the movie scene with the debut of the American trailer for his film "Bel Ami."

The movie centers around George Duroy, a penniless soldier who climbs to the top of the French social ladder by seducing the wives of Paris' most influential men. While we know RPattz is taking different roles to separate himself from "Twilight"—running away with the circus is not something we picture Edward doing—we couldn't help but notice four scenes in the trailer that immediately reminded us of the sullen vampire. You might think we just miss him so much it's taking over our brains, but take one look at our comparisons and we think you'll agree: That's definitely Edward.

Angels among us isn't necessarily a new theme (see: "Touched by an Angel," "City of Angels" and, of course, "Charlie's Angels"), but generally the supernatural saviors like to keep a low profile. Not so in "Immortal City," the debut novel from director Scott Speer. In fact, the opposite is true in fictional Angel City, where the winged creatures are society's biggest celebrities, garnering stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and billboards up and down Sunset Boulevard. But when a serial killer threatens their perfect existence, will good truly prevail over evil? And when one angel begins a romance with a human, how much will love cost? You'll have to pick up the first book in this intriguing series to find out!

But for now, why not focus your gaze on our EXCLUSIVE book trailer reveal for "Immortal City," directed by Scott himself? (Is it just us, or is that hunky angel a dead-ringer for "Sex and the City" character Smith Jerrod?) And if the clip has you thinking what an amazing adaptation this would make, take heart in the fact that "Gossip Girl" and "Vampire Diaries" producers have already optioned "Immortal City" for television.

The trailer for "Katy Perry: Part of Me" dropped last night, and maybe it's just us, but something definitely looks familiar. There are sparks, slo-mo and a super-dramatic entrance, and you know what? It kind of looks like the trailer for a few of the 3D concert movies we've seen recently: Bieber, Miley, Jo Bros and "Glee."

We took a scientific approach—as we always do—and broke down each 3D concert movie trailer to see just how similar they are to the new one for "Part of Me." The results were intriguing...and in slow motion with sparks flying in the background.

There's trouble in Panem, "Hunger Games" fans. As it turns out, Gary Ross directing the series' second installment, "Catching Fire," isn't as for sure a thing as we once thought.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gary and Lionsgate are in "tough negotiations" regarding his compensation for the follow-up. (Gary received a relatively small $3 million to co-write and direct "The Hunger Games," though that figure will be significantly boosted by his 5 percent cut of the profits.)

When MTV News caught up with Gary before the film's premiere, he revealed he was in the early stages of conceptualizing the sequel. "In terms of the cinematic differences in the way I might shoot the movie, I shot this in a very specific way that's very different than most franchises are shot, obviously, and that had a lot to do with the urgency of what's going on and Katniss' point of view," he said. "I have some ideas about how to do 'Catching Fire' slightly differently, but I don't want to share them yet. Not because I'm being evasive, but just because they're not fully baked. But yes, I think it will look and feel slightly different from the first."

Batman can cower in his cave with Alfred. Spider-Man can weave his web elsewhere. Ryan Gosling is the only crime-fighter we need.

Though it's unclear whether he had just come from the gymnasium wearing a bicep-revealing tank top, we do know one thing (mostly) for sure: the 31-year-old has once again saved Gotham from total mayhem. According to the New York Observer, Ryan reportedly rescued a British journalist from being hit by a New York City cab yesterday.

Oh, Kit Harington. You creature from another time and place! How we enjoy traveling to a land of fantasy week after week as we watch your character, Jon Snow, deal with the hardships of life in Westeros.
