From "Harry Potter" to "The Hunger Games," Hollywood always faces a challenge when it comes to adapting bestselling books into two-hour feature films. And by a challenge, of course, we mean the frothing micro-scrutiny of a million rabid fans who have some very specific ideas about what you should and should not do when bringing their beloved literary characters to life on the big screen.

But if you've ever sat in the darkening theater, clutching your popcorn and praying to the gods of All Things Film-Related, "Please, Celluloid Gods, please let them NOT HAVE SCREWED THIS UP!"... well, guess what, Emma Stone knows just how you feel. Even when, as with "The Help," she's actually in the movie.

As an actress, she said, "When you read the book, you have a vision of those characters too. So not only are you saying, 'How am I going to play that character... but who's gonna play Celia?' Because I love Celia, and if she's played wrong, I'm going to be so mad."

Oh yeah. This girl gets it. And, she added, "I definitely understand being protective of the characters and the material."

It was something of a surprise for everyone in the "Twilight" cast when the epic fight scene at the end of "Eclipse" beat out "Inception," "The Fighter," "Kick-Ass" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" for the Best Fight Golden Popcorn. But what had co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel scratching their heads even more was the joke Robert Pattinson made at the end of his acceptance speech.

The joke came after Bryce apologized to Rob for trying to kill him in the movie. "It's fine," he responded. "I ripped your head off, and now you're pregnant." Cut to Kristen Stewart mouthing, "What?" and ducking her head in embarrassment.

"That was a really advanced joke," Bryce said. "I didn't get it."

The MTV Movie Awards are only days away, and MTV News had the pleasure of catching up with "The Help" stars Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard on Thursday night at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles where they sat down for Sneak Peek Week and gave fans insight into the film adaptation of the best-selling novel.

Both ladies are nominated at the big show, and it seems that Bryce is an MTV Movie Awards virgin, so Ms. Stone offered up some advice on what to expect.

"I am really excited," Bryce shared. "I've never been there before and you've been there. It's like where you live."

Emma, being the charming, witty girl that she is, quipped back, "I live at the MTV Movie Awards. It's just so excited to go home again. Just get ready for some Nicki Minaj; just prepare yourself for Nicki."

Don't you hate when stars swear they don't read online gossip? Come on! Puh-lease! We know you do it! Just admit it!

One celebrity who is—commendably—not denying her penchant for interweb chatter is "The Help" star Bryce Dallas Howard. In fact, during our Sneak Peek Week event with the actress and her "The Help" cast mate Emma Stone, she admitted—for the world to hear—that her addiction is online gossip sites.

"Terrible, terrible," she said of the admission. "I mean, that's really not good stuff. And I have it kind of under control, but the fact that I have to have it under control—like, I have rules for myself—means it's an addiction."

Of course, we were dying to know what these "rules" entail.

Welcome to day four of Sneak Peek Week leading up to Sunday's sure-to-be-epic MTV Movie Awards! Over the past few days we've been taking a look at some pretty awesome upcoming films including "Horrible Bosses," "The Art of Getting By" and "Fright Night." Tonight is no exception as Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard join us to premiere an EXCLUSIVE clip from "The Help" and answer your questions!

The drama—based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Kathryn Stockett—follows budding writer Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan (Emma) as she records the stories of black maids ostracized by their white employers (like Bryce's Hilly Holbrook) during the racially charged era of the 1960s in Jackson, Miss.

The movie doesn't hit theaters until August 12, but we'll have an EXCLUSIVE look for you tonight on MTV at 11 p.m. ET followed by a 30-minute Q&A session on MTV.com. And we need your questions! Tweet your burning queries for Emma and Bryce to @MTVNews using the hash tag #spw.

See you tonight, y'all!

Hey, Emma Stone, look at you getting all serious! Keep it up—we like it.

This summer, Emma will appear in the film adaptation of the best-selling novel "The Help," about civil rights issues in 1960s Mississippi. Emma plays Skeeter, an aspiring writer who takes on the dangerous task of recording the stories of black housekeepers. In doing so, she butts heads with BFF Hilly, played by Eclipse"'s Bryce Dallas Howard, who is spearheading a movement to pass legislation prohibiting "the help" from using their white employers' bathrooms. (Spoiler alert for those of you who haven't read the book: You won't like Hilly.)

The trailer makes it pretty clear that Hilly's kind of a witch (and not the good, Hogwarts kind), but here's a quick rundown of other character need-to-knows highlighted in the spot. ("The Help" might be set in '60s Jackson, Mississippi, but the characters are pretty much exactly like people you know today.)

We don't know a lot about advertising (we're journalists, after all!), but we have enough common sense to know that when a company secures a celebrity endorser from a franchise as all-consuming as "The Twilight Saga," it has to be a good thing. So kudos to Kate Spade, who, according to Women's Wear Daily, just signed Bryce Dallas Howard (a.k.a. vampire Victoria) as their first-ever celebrity face.

"The Kate Spade offer came up and I kind of lost my mind," Bryce said. "There's something about that brand that, from a young age, I really, really, really connected with."

Though this deal marks Bryce's first ad campaign, she's certainly not the first "Twilight" star to promote a product or cause. Here's a brief history of "Twilight" star endorsements, from flavored water to furry animals.

Emily BluntEmily Blunt is one busy little lady, but we're crediting this latest casting news to some residual happiness from her wedding earlier this year to "The Office" star John Krasinski. Pajiba reports that Emily is set to star in "Engagement Games," a film about three sisters who all get engaged at the same time and "will stop at nothing" to have their mothers' wedding ring. To solve their problem, their father makes them duke it out in the "Family Olympics."

With Emily attached to the script, there's a high likelihood some quality actresses will sign on to play her competing sisters. So give us a drum roll please, because it's Hollywood Crush Casting Couch time!
