Last night, the stars of the month (or should it be year by now?), the cast of "New Moon," took their place in the New York City spotlight by attending the Cinema Society and D&G screening of the movie at the Landmark Sunshine Theater. It was originally supposed to be a "secret" event (is there really such a thing with the "Twilight" franchise anymore?), but plenty of faces from Manhattan's "elite" circles (um, hi, Ivanka Trump) were still there to support the Saga.
Just looking at the photos above (and the ones from the rest of the evening), it seems as though Kristen Stewart was somehow left off the memo that instructed attendees to "please only wear black or shades of cream tonight." Though she did show up to the carpet in a black Burberry trench coat, she eventually took it off to reveal an olive green Valentino dress. We adore the silhouette and the girly frills, but we're not super keen on the color for the actress, who looks a little washed out in it (her eyes, however, look stunning). As for Kristen's boys, both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner chose sleek black Dolce & Gabbana suits, with Rob's, of course, sans tie and unbuttoned at the top.

Hollywood has come down with a case of Broadway fever, as yet another young starlet is set to make her Great White Way debut. Just yesterday we pondered Scarlett Johansson's upcoming role in the Arthur Miller drama "A View From the Bridge," and now comes word (via Variety) that 13-year-old Abigail Breslin has been cast as Helen Keller in a revival of the 1959 play "The Miracle Worker."
Abigail will star as the blind-deaf girl alongside Alison Pill's ("In Treatment," "Milk") Annie Sullivan, a legally blind woman who teaches Helen to communicate. "The Miracle Worker" is quite a celebrated production having won four Tonys in 1960 and two Oscars in 1963 for the screen adaptation, both starring Patty Duke as Helen and Anne Bancroft as Annie.

Welcome to Dress Like A Movie Star Week here on Hollywood Crush. For the next five days we will be bringing you Halloween costume ideas inspired by some of the most outrageous, colorful and downright awesome characters on the big screen in 2009. We know your wallets aren't exactly being filled by a money tree in your backyards these days, so we're going to try our darnest to keep these costume ideas easy to create and easy on your bank account! Let the trick and treating begin!
Some may say its too soon to base a Halloween costume around a movie that came out the same month, but in the case of the most badass zombie killing sisters around, were going to make an exception. "Zombieland" power girls Wichita and Little Rock (Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin) struck a special chord in our hearts when they managed to look fantastic and fashionable in the middle of the zombie apocalypse while conning and outsmarting Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) and Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) at every step of their journey.

Though you'd think there would be more clothing options available with the rest of the world turned into flesh-eating monsters, Wichita and Little Rock wear the same outfit for the entirety of the film. While we aren't recommending you don't shower for weeks as it is implied the girls were forced to ("Don't say the s-word," Wichita begged her kid sister), there are a few elements of the ladies ensembles you just cant live without.

Everyone knows that pop culture is suffering from a serious plague of vampire-itis. Seems like I can't turn on my computer each morning without being greeted by news of a fresh outbreak on the big screen or boob tube or Xbox or book shelf. While all this bloodsucking madness is going on, though, the vampire's fellow flesh-nosher, the zombie, is making a comeback on the entertainment scene.
This Friday sees comedy/action/horror flick "Zombieland" hit theaters, and star Emma Stone is thinking zombies are well positioned to overtake vampires in the pop culture future.
"The thing about zombies is they're conceivable," the 20-year-old actress told MTV News. "I don't really know vampires, in a real world, if those kind of people can really exist, because they don't breathe anything. Zombies could really happen."

Though the show doesn't air until tonight on Fox, we got a preview of the stars' (mostly) hot looks on last night's 2009 Teen Choice Awards grass carpet. And just like any awards ceremony, some stars hit the mark while others fell slightly short.
Cool and cute seemed to be dress code for the ladies, with many opting for strapless mini dresses like "Sorority Row" star Audrina Patridge's(above, far left) fushia ruched Zuhair Murad dress. Other gals hitting the right style note were singer Jordin Sparks in an eye-catching aqua number, cute-as-a-button Abigail Breslin, who flaunted her bohemian side in an age appropriate Nanette Lepore embellished dress and Britney Spears in a simple Roberto Cavalli frock (thought it wasn't an amazing choice, we appreciate seeing her toned down and classy).

This week Forbes released its annual Celebrity 100 list ranking the world's most powerful celebrities, including a rundown of the silver screen's highest paid actresses. The top 10 was fairly predictable (actress/ambassador Angelina Jolie took the No. 1 spot), but there were a few surprises (uh, where's Julia Roberts?). Take a look at the full list below:
1. Angelina Jolie, $27 million
2. Jennifer Aniston, $25 million
3. Meryl Streep, $24 million
4. Sarah Jessica Parker, $23 million
5. Cameron Diaz, $20 million
6. Sandra Bullock, $15 million
7. Reese Witherspoon, $15 million
8. Nicole Kidman, $12 million
9. Drew Barrymore, $12 million
10. Renee Zellweger, $10 million
Being the curious folks that we are at Hollywood Crush, we started wondering how this list would shape up 10 years from now, when many of today's tweeners will have come of age and cinema staples like Angelina and Jennifer might be slowing down. While we have no idea how to calculate dollar amounts (we're journalists, duh!), here's a list — and accompanying flipbook — of our best guess at who will be at the top of the marquee in 2019. If you cried your eyes out during "The Notebook," then get ready to pull out even more tissues this time around. "My Sister's Keeper" — which is based on a novel by Jodi Picoult and helmed by "Notebook" director Nick Cassavetes — hits theaters tomorrow. The drama follows a family as they struggle with keeping their cancer-stricken daughter Kate ("Medium" actress Sofia Vassilieva) alive. Kate’s parents (Cameron Diaz and Jason Patric) will try anything to save her, so per a doctor's suggestion, they have another child (Abigail Breslin) who's an exact genetic match to Kate, thereby able to become a donor.
Last night, at the premiere of "Keeper," MTV caught up with the cast and asked them about making such a weighty film. Cameron Diaz — who's an actress not typically known for somber roles — said the movie actually fit right into her filmography. “It just feels very natural to the rhythm of what I’ve been doing over the last 15 years,” she said. For big-screen newcomer Sofia Vassilieva, the project was very close to her heart, and credits the cast for their dedication. “You know a big foundation of that was that we were in it together, that this team so faithfully and so firmly believed in this project.”
