Today marks the start of the Chinese New Year, which, in 2011, is the Year of the Rabbit. Many celebs—forgive the pun—hopped on their Twitter pages to wish a happy and healthy New Year, including Alex Meraz who wrote, "gung hay fat choy! Happy year of the Rabbit everyone!" and Melissa Joan Hart who posted, "Gōng xǐ fā cái 恭喜發財 happy Chinese New Year!" Meanwhile, mom-to-be Pink realized, "my husband is year of the rabbit, and our child will be, too. two rabbits to one sheep. I'm outnumbered."
Speaking of New Year's festivities, the all-star cast of "New Year's Eve" celebrated on-set together, as evident by Sofia Vergara's tweets, "Getting ready to play Ava on New Years Eve!!! http://yfrog.com/h8dcpfj" and "I'm shooting with Katherine Heigl and Bon Jovi!!! Fuuun ☺." But, there were plenty of pics from other movie sets today, including from director Wes Craven, who shared the bloody mess from the "Scream 4" set, "Warming up the Props! #SCREAM4 set http://flic.kr/p/9fjdEJ."

Over the weekend, Britney Spears (pictured) asked her followers on Twitter, "Who's ready for 1/11/11?" But luckily, impatient fans didn't have to wait one more day to hear her latest single, "Hold It Against Me," as it hit the airwaves Monday morning. The singer tweeted today, "Don't #HOLDITAGAINSTME for coming out early. I couldn't wait any longer. Hope you don't mind....."
While a demo had leaked late last week, Britney fans finally heard the real deal thanks to Ryan Seacrest who bragged, "We got it first!!" and alerted anxious listeners that, "u can listen here: http://on.fb.me/HoldIt or here: http://bit.ly/HoldIt2." Elsewhere on the radio dial, Carson Daly promised, "I'll play new @britneyspears 'Hold It Against Me' every hour this am." The song already gained some famous fans, including actor Colton Haynes who wrote, "@britneyspears #holditagainstme is a smash hit. Congrats."

The problem of "white washing" or "facepainting" — having a white actor play a role meant for someone of a different ethnicity — is not new to Hollywood, but that doesn't mean that it's come any less under fire in recent years (read this for a really good essay on the subject). Just this year, M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" has received a lot of flack for starring white actors in the film's three lead roles intended for Asians, and "Prince of Persia" came under fire for having its Persian prince be played by the very white Jake Gyllenhaal.
"Twilight" even received some criticism for casting Taylor Lautner, an actor from Dutch, French and German descent, as the film's main Native American character, Jacob Black. While Taylor does claim to have some Native American blood, Summit Entertainment went out of their way to cast Native American actors as the rest of the Quilete wolf pack when "New Moon" came out, and Chaske Spencer acknowledges what a blessing it is that he was cast. If you thought "Eclipse" mania was over just because the movie premiered on Wednesday, then you're seriously mistaken. While Robert Pattinson is in California filming his next project and Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are making the press rounds in New York, the rest of the cast jetted off abroad for a London red carpet. Of course, we've got the full fashion recap ready for you, so check it out below.
Our girls Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed rocked very different styles at the London premiere, but both dressed to impress. We're not usually fans of shiny outfits, but Ashley managed to dazzle us in a sparkling silver L'Wren Scott dress, which fit her perfectly. Of course, it didn't hurt that her hair also looked fab.

Some of our favorite boys steamed up the red (OK black) carpet last night as they stepped for the premiere of "Eclipse." (In case you missed it, you can check out our review of the ladies' fashion here.) Now, we never thought we'd be saying this, but when it comes to overall style, we think the guys may have the girls beat on this one. Check out the looks and our reviews below.
While we love all our boys equally, we've got to admit that all eyes were definitely on Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner last night. Luckily, neither of them really disappointed. Granted, at first, we weren't sure what to think about Robert's maroon suit, but by the end of the night we realized that RPattz knows how to carry the retro look.

What's better than getting pretty much the entire cast of "Eclipse" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" all on the same night? Getting pretty much the entire cast on the show, having the men and ladies of "Jersey Shore" remake the films (more on this later!), and having the Twi-crazed audience boo Justin Beiber, that's what.
And while we still need to teach Summit that "exclusive, never before seen" clips don't include scenes that we have seen most of in trailers, we've got to say that Jimmy's Total Eclipse of the Heart episode was a total win in our books.

It's here! It's here! The official "Eclipse" mall tour lineup has finally been released, and we've got the deets on who's going to be where, when.
First things first — in case you've been hiding under a rock (or, say, honeymooning on a private island off the coast of Brazil) — cast members from the movie will make appearances at Nordstrom locations throughout the country to promote the store's exclusive "Eclipse"-inspired clothing line (which we revealed exclusively here on Hollywood Crush!).

Werewolf teenage boys are apparently not all that different from their human counterparts! As seen in a new "Eclipse" clip, Jacob's (Taylor Lautner) good ole furry pals give him nothing but hell when he brings his dream girl, Bella (Kristen Stewart), over from enemy territory (his, at least) to his home in La Push.
It's there where she first meets Leah Clearwater (Julia Jones), who clearly has no desire to make Bella feel comfortable. "If you're here to torture Jacob some more, feel free to leave," Leah snaps. "Fun, isn't she?" Jacob, who is the only one of the pack to be fully clothed, retorts sarcastically.

On Sunday, "New Moon" actor Alex Meraz will be attending the MTV Movie Awards with his fellow "Twilight Saga" stars. He caught up with MTV News' Jim Cantiello on the red carpet at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, the day before the show goes live, to go over his red-carpet strategy. (For photos, click here)!
While there, the wolfy "New Moon" star jokingly revealed: "I set this up. I had to roll the red carpet out. So it will be nice to be walking on it."
When he wasn't strutting on the carpet, he was practicing some poses, which included common moves like the tiger, the wolf and the vampire. Well, actually, since Alex has some beef with vampires (at least on the big screen), he opted to go with the wolf again instead. Read more...

While Robert Pattinson is busy promoting his new movie "Remember Me," a few of his "Eclipse" costars were already making the rounds for the next chapter of the "Twilight" saga. Chaske Spencer, Tinsel Korey, Julia Jones and Alex Meraz tweeted about their day together on a photo shoot. Alex posted en route, "In a shuttle van with Chaske, Tinsel, and Julia...heading towards our destiny! Not really. Actually a photoshoot for InStyle magazine today," while Chaske wrote while on the set: "Hanging out with Alex, Julia, and Tinsel today. Doing a shoot for InStyle Magz. in LA LA Land!!!"
Elsewhere, "The Hangover" breakout star Zach Galifianakis (pictured) is getting ready for his next big role: host of "Saturday Night Live." As promos for the actor/comedian's debut hosting gig hit the net, celebs in the Twitterverse expressed their excitement. Alyssa Milano shared with fans, " Zach Galifianakis On SNL: Let The Awesomeness Begin http://bit.ly/9rqnPN" while "Tim and Eric" star Tim Heidecker re-tweeted Videogum's sentiment that, "Zach Galifianakis Hosting Saturday Night Live Is Just Going To Be So Great, You Guys."
