What did you do this weekend? If the Twitterverse is any indication, practically everyone in young Hollywood would have to answer "Coachella" and make us terribly jealous in the process. Everyone from "Twilight" vamp Ashley Greene (pictured) to songstress Katy Perry were gushing about the event. The "Firework" singer tweeted praise for Empire of the Sun and Kanye West before exclaiming, "...do it allllllllllllllll again!!! #REALWORLDCOACHELLA!" Joe Jonas also gushed over Empire of the Sun and Kanye, but added a few other favorites when he tweeted, "#Coachella you ruled! Foster the people, Chromeo, Kanye, Mumford, Empire of the sun... just a few of my favorites! WoW! #canwedoitagain?" Joe's ex Ashley was also in attendance, but if they bumped into each other the awkwardness obviously didn't outweigh the fun that is Coachella. She tweeted, "Such a crazy fun weekend of amazing music and amazing people! I'm so glad I got to experience that. #Coachella"
In less musical news, Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her birthday today. The reality star turned 32 (these Kardashians barely seem to age, seriously), and friends tweeted their birthday wishes. Sis Khloe tweeted some old family photos for the occasion, posting, "Celebrating @KourtneyKardash's birthday with some of my faaaavorite family pics http://bit.ly/hoqKWL." Friend Brittny Gastineau spread the love with a simple (and less embarrassing) "Happppy bday @KourtneyKardash I loveeeeee you."

TOMS Shoes declared April 5 One Day Without Shoes—an annual international event to raise awareness about the issues facing those forced to go barefoot in impoverished areas. For every pair of shoes TOMS sells, the company donates one pair to a child in need. Today, TOMS asked people to pledge barefooted-ness in support of the cause, and some of our favorite celebrities, including Sara Bareilles (pictured) and Brooke Burke answered the call. Sara tweeted a call for fan support, saying, "2day I'm #withoutshoes.I luv @TOMSshoes and their work for all the kids who go without.Let's c u #withoutshoes! http://plixi.com/p/89752979."
Stars of ABC's "No Ordinary Family" rallied for support for a different cause—the show's season finale. Rebecca Mader called the episode "prety epic" and Julie Benz encouraged fans to tune in, tweeting, "tonight's the night... season finale of No Ordinary Family 8pm ABC. Do not miss this TV event tonight!!!"

The terrifying images coming out of Japan, which was devastated on Friday, March 11, when it was hit by an 8.9-magnitude earthquake and then a tsunami, was all the talk of Twitter. Celebrities the world over got on their pages to send their thoughts and condolences to all those who have been displaced or have loved ones who are lost or missing. Many spread the word about how everyone can do their part to help, including actress Nina Dobrev, who told followers, "Cannot believe whats happened in Japan..the footage is surreal and scary. What is happening to the earth? Please Text “Red Cross” to 90999." As actor Austin Nichols explained, "Text - redcross - to 90999. And $10 will be charged to your cell phone bill. Let's support those families in #Japan."
Some stars were personally affected by the tragedy, including TV host Jimmy Kimmel, who found himself in the midst of the natural disaster, as his vacation in French Polynesia turned terrifying. "Suddenly, relaxing on an island in the South Pacific isn't so relaxing anymore," he wrote. Then, later in the day he alerted fans, "we are evacuating the island." Jimmy's fans took to their Twitter pages to send him the best, including Alyssa Milano who wrote, "@jimmykimmel Please let us know when you're safe, Jimmy. Sending you love."
The West coast also braced for the impact from what happened in Japan. Actor Daniel Dae Kim tried to carry on on the set of "Hawaii Five-0" and left this heartfelt message, " Back at work, bleary eyed & heartsick, but very grateful. As far as I know, everyone is safe. Thx 2 all of you 4 your kind thoughts. Truly."

Sure, the new Farrelly Brothers comedy "Hall Pass" (pictured) may be geared towards guys, but after the raves about the movie on Twitter today, we're starting to think it would make for a perfect girls night-out flick. Aside from the eye candy (hello, Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson!) it stars some seriously fab females like Jenna Fischer, mom-to-be Alyssa Milano (who raved about her co-star from her page, "Jason Sudeikis is a movie star. He's genius. #HallPass") and new mom Christina Applegate, who alerted followers, "Oh there is this flick called "Hall Pass" opening this friday with some pretty amazing folks in it! I suggest you go check it out!!#hallpass." Stacy Keibler was among the celebs who attended the movie's premiere last night and reported, "It was laugh out loud funny. There were times I was crying I was laughing so hard."
The hilarious "Hall Pass" cast weren't the only ones giving each other props on the Twitterverse today, as the gang from "Nikita" welcomed their leading lady Maggie Q to Twitter with open arms. When Maggie, who sent out her first tweet ever this afternoon, "Holy crap guys. Its me." (which was soon followed by, "I sent out my first tweet and my heart was palpitating! I was sweating!!?!") her co-stars all signed in to their accounts to send their best. Lyndsy Fonseca wrote, "@MaggieQ sent her first tweet guys!! Let's give her a big welcome :)" and Shane West posted, "I believe Maggie did her first tweet :D." Elsewhere, Devon Sawa, who had been trying to get Maggie on board with Twitter for quite some time sent a simple, "@MaggieQ :)"

Who's the boss of 'New Year's Eve'? Yes, Garry Marshall is the director, but we want to know Who's the Boss? Okay, okay all joking about '80s sitcoms aside, this lengthy set-up is to tell you that Alyssa Milano is the latest actress to join the rom-com's jumbo cast, according to Variety.
The "Hall Pass" star will play the role of a hospital nurse keeping holiday company with an old, lonely patient. Could she be the counterpart to Robert De Niro's bitter old sickie? We'll have to see!
Alyssa's casting isn't the only "New Year's Eve" news making the rounds today. When MTV News spoke with Garry last year, he said he was trying to lineup a Justin Bieber cameo for the film. But, sadly, E! News is reporting that scheduling conflicts may keep the Biebs from making an appearance. I guess there will be one more lonely girl this New Year's.

The nominations for the 2011 Oscars weren't just the talk of Tinseltown today, but the Twitterverse as well! Hollywood hopped on their pages to post about which movies, actors, actresses, writers and directors they were happy to see get some love from the Academy. Naturally, there was just as much chatter about who should have been nominated, especially for "Inception" director Christopher Nolan who was inexplicably snubbed for his mind-bender. An outraged Felicia Day pondered, "Chris Nolan didn't get a director nomination?!! ARE YOU KIDDING?!" while Alyssa Milano mused about the director of the Best Picture nominee (a scene with stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, pictured) "Regarding Chris Nolan - I'm not sure how you can acknowledge the screenplay and film and not the director." However, Jaime King was a little less gentle with her wording, "Where the f*ck is Christopher Nolan's Oscar nom?!"
While some celebs couldn't wake from the "Inception" nightmare, others were simply elated for Hailee Steinfeld's dream come true. The breakout star will compete in the Best Supporting Actress category for her stellar performance in "True Grit," much to the delight of fellow famous youngster Justin Bieber. After hearing the awesome news, the singer wrote, "met at the Globes and she is super talented. CONGRATS to Hailee Steinfeld for being 14 and getting nominated for an OSCAR for TRUE GRIT!"

We were all over the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" premiere last night, but it wasn't the only flick to roll out the red carpet. Christina Aguilera and Cher's upcoming movie musical "Burlesque" had its world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday evening, and those who attended seemed to love the film's glitz and glamor. Kristin Cavallari raved, "Burlesque was very entertaining. Christina is amaaaazing!!! And the makeup is insane....now I wanna dance." Khloe Kardashian tweeted after the screening, "OMG!!! Wow!! I can't say one bad thing about Burlesque! That was amazing! Congrats to all the amazing dancers, actors, singers!"
But it wasn't just the tunes from "Burlesque" that had the stars singing today. The Beatles are officially available for download on iTunes, and Hollywood charged up their iPads for the historic day. Actress Alyssa Milano tweeted, "SO AMAZING! The Beatles. Now on iTunes➛ http://bit.ly/8XB8hx" as singer Michelle Branch informed, "I just bought The Beatles box set on iTunes (even though I basically have everything anyway) Now I know what I'll be listening to all day :)" Meanwhile, the Dixie Chicks took a cue from the cast of "Glee" and asked followers, "The Beatles have joined #iTunes. If you were creating a Dixie Chicks/Beatles mash-up, which 2 songs would you mash together?"

It's good to have famous friends in Hollywood, if only so you can call on them to help with whatever charity organization you care about. That's what "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria Parker has been doing for the past two days, at least. Just today, "Dexter"'s Julie Benz, "Dollhouse"'s Eliza Dushku (and her bf, new "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Rick Fox!) and "House"'s Olivia Wilde and Jennifer Morrison joined Eva's organization TwitChange to help raise money for Haiti relief. Those yet to respond? The cast of "Glee," who Eva tweeted, "Hey @msleamichele @msamberpriley @IJennaUsh @chriscolfer I would LOVE to have you all on board our charity auction @ http://TwitChange.com." Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum and Kevin McHale already agreed, so now the rest of them definitely can't refuse!
Meanwhile, a second oil rig explosion in the Gulf caused outrage from some other television stars. "This is like a bad dream...Offshore Oil Rig in the Gulf of Mexico Explodes http://nyti.ms/bq5mIX Please help fundraise! http://bit.ly/9ML8RT," tweeted "One Tree Hill" star Sophia Bush. "Charmed" star Alyssa Milano seconded that, tweeting, "No. No. Gulf oil platform explodes, burning off Louisiana coast." We should also note that Alyssa already joined TwitChange for Eva. She's just an all around good Samaritan!

We here at Hollywood Crush are all about following up-and-comers in Hollywood, so it's only fitting that some of our favorite tweeters were a hit at last night's Young Hollywood Awards. "Eclipse" star Ashley Greene, who took home the prize for Style Icon, posted, "Young hollywood awards was so fun!! Thank you hollwood life and all my fans!" Another winner who was clearly enjoying his time there was "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Chad Ochocino, who posted, "RedCarpet at the Young Hollywood Awards with the beautiful @cherylburke1 (damn she is fine)."
While 20-years-old may not sound ancient, a TV show that lasts that long is practically a veteran! Sadly, everyone's favorite sick day show "Law & Order" is coming to an end after 20 years on the air. Jordin Sparks paid her respects, writing, "R.I.P. Law & Order. That stinks. :(" while Seth Meyers made us laugh, "NBC cancels Law and Order. I'm so bum-bummed." Elsewhere, Alyssa Milano was trying to save her show "Romantically Challenged" from getting the ax, posting, "Good morning/afternoon/evening/night. Please follow @RomChallenged for updates on how you can help us."

The loss of 80s teen star Corey Haim, who passed away today at the age of 38, has hit Hollywood hard and many stars and friends of the actor remembered him on Twitter today. Fellow decade stars felt a kinship with Corey and expressed their condolences throughout the day. "Punky Brewster" star Soleil Moon Frye tweeted, "RIP Corey Haim. Nobody made listening to 80's music back in the day look so good... Save a dance for me up there." "Who's The Boss" actress Alyssa Milano posted, "Just woke up to the sad, sad news that Corey Haim passed away. RIP sweet boy." Christina Applegate wrote a similar sentiment to followers, "My thoughts go out to Corey's family and friends today. So sad."
Corey didn't just have an impact on those in the 80s, but the generations that followed. too. Tamera Mowry recalled Corey's mark on her life, posting, "RIP Cory Haim...you were my first crush!" while basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal recalled his favorite Corey Haim movie, tweeting, "lost boyz forever bro."
