Can we just go ahead and call Anna Kendrick the Master of Acting Versatility? In the past few years, we've seen her play everything from a bored high school student to a blustering businesslady to Scott Pilgrim's baby sister...and now, she's pregnant!
In this movie, I mean.
This movie about pregnant people.
One of whom is Anna Kendrick.
The film is "What to Expect When You're Expecting," which follows the stories of five women dealing with the impending arrival of their respective babies. Anna plays a food truck chef with a bun in her oven, and she's joined by actresses Cameron Diaz (a fitness guru carrying some baby weight), Jennifer Lopez (not actually pregnant, but planning to adopt), Elizabeth Banks (a baby-incubating author), and Brooklyn Decker (a trophy wife carrying the heir to a fortune). And thanks to studio Lionsgate, iVillage has an exclusive look at the character posters—featuring each lady sporting the requisite bump and/or delighted "I'm pregnant!" expression. (Sort of like the character posters released for "The Hunger Games"—only happy, and with belly rubs!)

Hopefully you romantic comedy-loving masses aren't tired of the ensemble-style film just yet because after ringing in this week's "New Year's Eve," you should circle a May 2012 due date on your calendar for "What to Expect When You're Expecting."
The big story surrounding the film so far is its all-star cast which, thanks to the release of the first official trailer on Yahoo! Movies Thursday, we now know includes the following couples: Elizabeth Banks and Ben Falcone, Dennis Quaid and Brooklyn Decker (the joke about their age gap is in the film, don't worry!) Anna Kendrick and Chace Crawford, Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison, and Jennifer Lopez and Rodrigo Santoro. There is also lots of shirtless Joe Manganiello flanked by the "dudes group" of funny men Chris Rock, Thomas Lennon, Rob Heubel and Amir Talai.

Emily Post could dedicate an entire tome to the etiquette of interviewing celebrities. There are so many unspoken rules! Like, if you're having a pleasant chit-chat with Ryan Gosling, you should not offer to bare his children. Or, if you're sitting down with George Clooney, never ask to play doctor. And if you're interviewing Anna Kendrick about "50/50," you shouldn't submit only "Twilight" questions.
Apparently that was a lesson Josh Horowitz never learned. Because he did just that.
In the latest addition of After Hours, Anna sat down with Josh to talk all about her upcoming cancer comedy, co-starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. But try as she might, she couldn't steer the conversation away from Taylor Lautner's abs or Robert Pattinson's dreaminess. You know you've done something horribly wrong when the always amiable Anna shouts, "You're an idiot."

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" may have brought star Taylor Lautner to tears, but a handful of his cast mates, including Anna Kendrick, haven't had the pleasure.
When we caught up with the 26-year-old actress at last night's premiere for her other tearjerker, "50/50," we were surprised to learn she hadn't seen the November 18 release.
"I haven't seen it yet," Anna admitted. "I'm just as excited as the fans to see it because I haven't seen any of it myself."
And then we made her squirm by asking about THE VAMPIRE SEX.

We all know Anna Kendrick can act. After all, the starlet did get nominated for an Oscar. But can Anna sing? Well, we’ll soon find out, as the "Twilight" actress is in talks to star in "Pitch Perfect," an upcoming musical romantic comedy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anna could play a rebellious and goth-like college student who discovers her voice in her school’s female a cappella group.

One thing you can say about Anna Kendrick: girlfriend is versatile! One minute she's playing a flighty high school student in "Twilight," the next minute she's wowing us as a be-suited professional businesslady in "Up in the Air", and then—BAM—it's back to school again for more Forks drama and a stint in "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World." (Not to mention her part in the upcoming "Rapturepalooza," where she'll take her own turn battling evil forces to save the human race from apocalypse and extinction.)
So it's no surprise, after all this, that her most recent casting announcement is totally unlike any of those other roles in any way whatsoever.
The news: Lionsgate has confirmed that Anna will appear in "What to Expect When You're Expecting" (a movie based on that terrifying book about puking, hemorrhoids and all the other lovely things that happen during pregnancy). The film will be a "Love Actually"-style mashup of multiple plotlines—only with babies and minus the English Prime Minister—and also features Brooklyn Decker, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez.

When you think of Conan O'Brien, you think of sweet dance moves (what...just us?!). But tomorrow night, Conan (who wrote one of today's funniest tweets, "Dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made you out of clay, and when you’re dry and ready, I’ll have no idea what to do with you") will have his puppet string dance rivaled when the amazing group The LXD stops by his show. The LXD member and "Glee" star Harry Shum Jr. posted, "Working on lighting cues for @thelxd show for @conanobrien. DANCE will go EVIL...LIVE for the first time! @teamcoco are you ready?" Jon Chu, who directs The LXD's online series teased anxious fans with, "Just saw the LXD rehearsal footage for the Conan show onWednesday show...OMFLXD. This sh is bananas. U must watch on wed!"
Of course, The LXD aren't the only ones showing off their dancing skills this week. Look no further than Christina Applegate's new outrageous "Funny Or Die" clip in which she plays... a pregnant pole dancer! The viral video (which also features Jessalyn Gilsig!) got some major attention on Twitter, to which preggers Christina (pictured) told followers, " I hear I have disgusted some of you. And all I have to say to you is........you're welcome! Xo."

Anna Kendrick goes by many monikers: "Twilight" star, Oscar-nominated actress, red carpet stunner, and now she can add one more: video vixen. Anna teamed with "Training Day" writer David Ayer for the new "Supervideo," which utilizes LCD Soundsystem's song "Pow Wow" as the narrative inspiration.
Anna plays a mysterious woman who, along with her entourage of lawyers and bodyguards, travels through the underworld of L.A. to capture the souls of notorious villains. However, Anna isn't quite what she appears to be. (Perhaps there are some supernatural powers involved...just sayin')
The video is striking and otherworldly, and we were lucky enough to snag some behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot. Click on the pic above to view our entire flipbook of Anna images (stunning outfits included!). And, obvi, don't forget to check out the video too!
What do you think of Anna and LCD Soundsystem's "Supervideo"?

Our congratulations go out to "Eclipse" star Jodelle Ferland, who is the latest "Twilight Saga" star to land herself a nice meaty role in a non-"Twilight" film. Jodelle, however, is sticking pretty close to her horror roots (she was also in "Silent Hill") in the upcoming flick "The Tall Man," which casts her alongside Jessica Biel. Bloody Disgusting is calling the movie a "suspenseful thriller in the vein of the early films of M. Night Shyamalan."
Her newest role got us thinking about all the other upcoming projects our other favorite "Twilight" stars have lined up, and we were hard pressed to choose which one we are most excited for. After all, the films range from such exciting fare as "On The Road" to "Live With It" to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1"! So that's why we're letting you do the choosing for us. Cast your vote after the jump for which movie starring a "Twilight" actor you're most excited to see.

One of the scariest days of the year (you know, behind Halloween and Valentine's Day) had some easily spooked and superstitious celebs jumping on their Twitter pages. "Jersey Shore" star Sammi "Sweetheart" told followers, "WOWW--TODAY'S FRIDAY THE 13TH!!! BE SAFE!!!" while "JONAS" actress Nicole Anderson posted, " It's officially Friday the 13th. And yes, I'm superstitious so yes, I will have anxiety all day."
If you plan on spending your Friday the 13th avoiding black cats and walking under ladders, you may just want to head right for the movies. Lucky for you, there's some awesome ones opening this weekend, including the highly anticipated "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World." The game-changing comic book movie got a boost on Twitter from one of its stars, Anna Kendrick (pictured, in a scene from the film), who posted, "Alright kids, Scott Pilgrim is in theaters TODAY. If this movie doesn't blow your mind, you are dead inside."
