Hollywood stylists must have put an embargo on the rainbow this summer, because just like last week's InStyle Summer Soiree, stars turned up for Nylon magazine's TV Issue launch party at Skybar in L.A. decidedly devoid of color. But even clad in simple blacks and whites, the stars couldn't help but glow.

"True Blood" actress and Nylon cover girl Anna Paquin arrived in a super sexy little black dress by Herve Leroux, which was complete with a sheer, plunging neckline perfect for a quick bite from a certain gentlemanly vampire. If Anna's dress looks familiar, it's probably because starlet Megan Fox wore a similar sheath (sans the sleeves) to a "Late Show with David Letterman" appearance recently. And speaking of vampires, Anna's date was none other than onscreen bloodsucking beau and real-life fiance Stephen Moyer, who looked dashing in a dark suit and white button-up.

It seems that more and more lifestyle brands are replacing models with celebrities as faces to represent them. With Fergie for MAC cosmetics, Lindsay Lohan for Fornarina and most recently, Hayden Christensen for Lacoste, it’s no surprise that a California-friendly line like Ocean Pacific (a.k.a. Op) has gathered a few of the hottest Hollywood stars to front its new fall line.

Op started using familiar personalities in ads for its Spring/Summer 2008 “OPen Road” campaign, which starred Kristin Cavallari, Rumer Willis, Christina Milian, Josie Maran, Pete Wentz, Corbin Bleu and Wilmer Valderrama. The original beachy lifestyle brand has now stepped up the ante with "One Tree Hill" actress Sophia Bush, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden,"The Hills" playboy Brody Jenner, "90210" vixen AnnaLynne McCord, singer (and sister to Beyoncé) Solange Knowles and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Cody Linley. Whispers of a possible new Hollywood couple began last week when "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene was spotted on a maybe-date in L.A. with "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier. But, the duo now want to assure everyone: They are not dating.

"I have only met him once. But he's very smart. We actually started talking about environmental stuff. He's a very go-green guy," Ashley told People. "I think he's a really sweet guy." But, what does she think of everyone saying how cute they'd be together? "God, that's what I keep hearing!"

Well, it seems her rumored beau is sticking to the same story. When he was asked about the romance rumors, he told Extra, "We were at a surfing lesson. Oakley was doing a surfing event and she was there. We did share a dance like many people did and I didn't have sex with them either. She's a great girl and we're just friends for now." Read more...
