It's a tough job, but somebody (insanely good looking and ridiculously in shape) has to do it. I'm talking about the risky business of secret agentry, which takes center stage in this weekend's action-packed rom-com "This Means War." Delicious duo Chris Pine and Tom Hardy play best friends and CIA operatives battling over the affections of pretty Reese Witherspoon, unloading an arsenal of treacherous, sabotage-y tactics on each other along the way.

Now, Chris and Tom are hardly the first sexy secret agents to grace the silver screen. In fact, cinema history is littered with spies so bodacious that it'd surely blow their covers in real life. (I mean, operatives are supposed to blend in, right?) From Daniel Craig as James Bond (praise be to blue booty shorts!) to Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt, these actors are armed, dangerous and looking damn fine while doing it.

Click on the image above to investigate our entire Sexy Secret Agents gallery, and for goodness' sake, wipe that drool off your face before you blow our cover.

Anne Hathaway and Adam ShulmanDespite once insisting she wasn't in search of a happily-ever-after, it appears Anne Hathaway may have found one.

People has confirmed that the 29-year-old actress is engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Adam Shulman. The news comes after the starlet was snapped over the weekend sporting a ring.

Anne and Adam have been dating since 2008, following her split from Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, who was sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud and other crimes. And as Anne recently admitted to Harper's Bazaar, she's happy to be in a relationship that grabs fewer headlines.

Though executive producer Ryan Murphy has promised "Glee" will be light on guest stars this season—instead focusing on the dramedy's core characters—that doesn't mean we shouldn't expect a fun cameo or two. Case in point: Catwoman might soon be prowling the halls of McKinley High. Or, more specifically, actress Anne Hathaway.

As you'll recall, Anne's long been contemplating a guest turn on the Fox musical series, even going so far as to dream up her role. "I would want to do two duets, one with the young man who plays Kurt," she explained to us last fall. "And I'd want to sing a song from 'Into the Woods,' called 'Children Will Listen.'"

Adding fuel to the Anne Hathaway/"Glee" rumors was Ryan Murphy, himself, who revealed at this year's Golden Globes that Anne would indeed have a role on an upcoming episode. But that was nine months ago, and we have yet to see the pretty actress so much as stumbled into a scene.

Well, fear not! Ryan told us last night at the 2011 Emmy Awards that he'll be discussing a role with Miss Hathaway very soon!

Last time we hung out with Anne Hathaway, we pretty much talked about nothing but sex. (Hey, it was necessary; have you seen all the nakedness in "Love and Other Drugs"?) But now that she's at the helm of the big, bold, cinematic love story that is "One Day," we're ready to take our relationship with her and co-star Jim Sturgess to the next level! So when MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with the actors in this summer's most-anticipated romance, it was time to talk about...LOVE.

Specifically, what kind of romance each of them prefers to see on-screen—the happily ever after kind? Or the tear-inducing, ill-fated, soul-sucking heartbreaker that leaves you feeling wrecked, wretched and like you might actually puke up your heart?

No surprise for a pair of dramatists, but they're both total sob-mongers.

"For me, yeah, ill-fated," Jim said.

"Tear-inducing," Anne nodded along. But she's got a good reason: "I think it stays with you longer. When something rips your guts out, you're more inclined to remember it."

"One Day," the bittersweet love saga hitting theaters on Friday, which is based on David Nicholls' charming international best-seller, follows two friends (played by Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess) over the span of 20 years. So it's fitting that for the past decade we have been following Anne and her ever-evolving career and personal life, something we'll continue to do for the next 10 years and beyond. Having a diverse resume that—at just 28 years old—already includes indies, family fare, rom-coms, big-budget action flicks and sweeping dramas , the Oscar-nominated actress has become one of the defining stars of our generation. As we look forward to the release of "One Day" and her upcoming projects (hello, "Dark Knight Rises"!) let's look back at the evolution of Anne Hathaway.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 12, 1982, Anne is the middle child of a lawyer, her father Gerald, and an actress, her mother Kathleen. While Anne grew up performing on the stage, her big break wouldn't come from the theater, but rather the big screen. "The Princess Diaries," a charming live-action Disney movie about a teen who discovers she's actually an heiress to a throne, marked Anne's second time appearing in a movie, but it catapulted her to instant fame. Her sweet, funny performance as the dowdy girl-turned-princess Mia Thermopolis won over critics and moviegoers alike. She may have already been 18 when the flick, which grossed $108 million at the box office (and spawned the sequel "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement"), was released in 2001, but her star was just being born.

You'd think having played one of England's most celebrated female authors (that'd be Jane Austen for those of you who skipped third period English), Anne Hathaway would have no trouble affecting a proper English accent on command. But that's so not the case.

When MTV News sat down with Anne and co-star Jim Sturgess to talk about their big-screen adaptation of David Nicholls' best-selling romance, "One Day" (set in the land of tea and crumpets and hot ginger princes), Miss Hathaway jokingly agreed to show off her dialect skills. "Hello, MTV! How's it going?" she exclaimed in her best Cockney accent—a far cry from the more subtle one she uses in the film.

"I just insulted, by the way, an entire nation of people," she added in her American accent.

"I feel all right about it," co-star Jim chimed in.

And...we're back with another episode of the "Yes/No Show" with host MTV News Movie Guy Josh Horowitz. This week's victims lucky contestants? Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess who star in the romantic drama "One Day," out this Friday.

It's clear from Josh's new, very official-looking podium, that he's upping the ante in this latest After Hours. It's all awkward, all the time, so click play on the video above to experience it for yourself.

What yes/no question would you ask Anne and Jim?

Anne Hathaway is no stranger to movie makeunders thanks to ugly duckling roles in flicks like "The Princess Diaries" and "The Devil Wears Prada." And the 28-year-old starlet will once again toss her lipstick and concealer to the side to portray would-be writer Emma in this week's romantic drama "One Day."

The film follows Emma—and her complicated relationship with Jim Sturgess' Dex—over the span of 20 years, a concept Anne found more than a little intriguing.

"Initially I thought, 'What an amazing opportunity. How much fun is it going to be to age 20 years?' Then the closer I got to doing the film, I realized that everything had to be noticeable but it also had to be incredibly subtle," she said.

The key to any good onscreen romance is a certain level of chemistry between the lead actors, so it comes as no surprise that "One Day" stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess were asked to do a chemistry read before they were cast in their weepy romance. But what exactly is a chemistry read? Considering many actors have never met before auditioning—as was the case with the "One Day" leads—MTV News was curious what type of process went into discovering if they had that certain something. It turns out it's a bit more complex than it might seem.

"It's when they sort of put you in room like a blind date and they just watch to sort of see if chemistry sort of flies off you and attaches itself to the other person," Jim explained before his leading lady butted it.

"[They look at] what color the chemistry is assuming that there is chemistry, and then they run that chemistry color through a lab and there's an algorithm that they plug it into and if that chemistry equals the box office Do Re Mi, then maybe you will get the part," Anne dead-panned.
