Last night, the stars of the month (or should it be year by now?), the cast of "New Moon," took their place in the New York City spotlight by attending the Cinema Society and D&G screening of the movie at the Landmark Sunshine Theater. It was originally supposed to be a "secret" event (is there really such a thing with the "Twilight" franchise anymore?), but plenty of faces from Manhattan's "elite" circles (um, hi, Ivanka Trump) were still there to support the Saga.

Just looking at the photos above (and the ones from the rest of the evening), it seems as though Kristen Stewart was somehow left off the memo that instructed attendees to "please only wear black or shades of cream tonight." Though she did show up to the carpet in a black Burberry trench coat, she eventually took it off to reveal an olive green Valentino dress. We adore the silhouette and the girly frills, but we're not super keen on the color for the actress, who looks a little washed out in it (her eyes, however, look stunning). As for Kristen's boys, both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner chose sleek black Dolce & Gabbana suits, with Rob's, of course, sans tie and unbuttoned at the top.

If there's one place vampires, werewolves and humans can co-exist peacefully, it's surely the red carpet. Love triangles, team alliances and centuries-old pacts were put aside last night to celebrate the long-awaited premiere of "New Moon" at LA's Westwood village theater. Though fans lined up for hours to get a glimpse of their favorite "Twilight" stars, we've got a fashion rundown you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home—sans earplugs.

A lot has changed for the Saga's stars since last year's premiere, including their wardrobe. Kristen Stewart eschewed her mini-dress of yore, opting instead for a floor-grazing, gray-stitched gown by Oscar De La Renta. But in signature Kristen-fashion she funked it up by adding a few bangles, smokey eyes and a messy, half up-do. Kristen's onscreen love Robert Pattinson looked every inch the movie star in a black Gucci suit, with a soft yet still-slightly tousled haircut and his token stubble.

Kellan Lutz has a pretty good gig. In between his roles as Emmett Cullen in the vampire saga “Twilight,” he gets to travel around the country and listen to hundreds of teenage girls chant his name.

Several hundred of those teenage girls, among others, screamed themselves hoarse Thursday night when Kellan made an appearance at the Natick Collection shopping center in Natick, Mass (close to Boston). He was originally set to appear with costar Ashley Greene, however, a picture of her head on a stick served as a replacement.

“This is great,” he said about all the adoration, shouting over the squealing hordes. “I wish I could do this every day!”

Maybe you were one of the thousands of kids lined up overnight to get into one of the "New Moon" mall tour stops. Maybe you spent hours putting together the perfect gift for one of the stars. You should know that not only do the actors appreciate the prezzies, they think they should be the ones handing them out.

"The fans are always so loving and caring and supportive," Kellan Lutz told MTV News at a tour stop in suburban Chicago. "It's really interesting when they bring us gifts. We're so thankful, we should be giving the fans gifts because they're allowing us to continue on with the saga."

Amongst all the "New Moon" excitement, the future-seeing vamp known as Alice Cullen (real life Ashley Greene) has posed for Maxim magazine! The issue is set to hit newsstands on Nov. 17 and we know all you Twi-hards are pinching at the bit to get a hold of the issue. We showed you the cover yesterday and now MTV News has their hands on an exclusive outtake shot of Ms. Greene!

Ashley lays drenched in the sand as the sunlight strikes the water in the distance. With her pants unbuttoned and her shirt soaking wet, she gives us the girl next door gaze. For the "Twilight" crowd, it seems a tad risque, while not too revealing at the same time. However, compared a few of the past covers (including Audrina Patridge and Milla Jovovich), Ashley’s cover was surprisingly conservative — which is endearing to say the least. What’s better than a pure, down to earth girl?!

What do you think of Ashley’s exclusive shot? Was it over the top or just right?

The ladies have gotten plenty of chances to swoon over magazine covers with their favorite "New Moon" stars on them. (May we remind you about last week's Harper's Bazaar frenzy and yesterday's mania over Taylor Lautner on Men's Health?) Now, guys (and devoted boyfriends and/or husbands out there who read Hollywood Crush purely to, you know, "stay up-to-date" with their girls) it's your turn to drool.

Little Miss Alice Cullen (known to those non-"Twilight" fans left in the world as Ashley Greene) transformed into a smoldering cover girl for Maxim magazine's December issue (on sale Nov. 17). Her photos aren't too far of a stretch from her character's typical cutesy persona though and she describes Alice as "sweet, sexy, and a killer!"

The "New Moon" tour hit Illinois last night with Ashley Greene and (newly blond) Kellan Lutz taking center stage as hundreds of screaming fans surely broke a few decibel records in appreciation.

We’ve got plenty of “New Moon” goodies set up for you over the next two weeks (yes, there are less than two weeks until “New Moon” hits theaters! But who's counting?). Earlier today we brought you backstage snapshots from Friday's junket, and now we've got more gems from that same event — Five facts your didn't know about the movie.

Our favorite on the list actually pulls from a scene in the trailer, where Bella (Kristen Stewart) is seen hitting wolf pack leader Sam Uley (Chaske Spencer). Apparently, even though Chaske has nine inches and (we’re guessing) over a hundred pounds on Kristen, she still left him black and blue after the 15 takes it took to get the shot.
