As "One Tree Hill" closes out its final season, one of The CW series' greatest on-set romances has also come to an end.
Us Weekly reports that Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols have broken up.
The duo started dating six years ago, after Sophia's marriage to another "OTH" cast member, Chad Michael Murray, ended. Sophia also briefly dated co-star James Lafferty. (We assume all the on-set courting has something to do with the hotness of her co-stars and the possible lack of Hollywood-type bachelors in North Carolina, where the show used to shoot.)
Sources say Sophia decided to break it off with her on-screen hubby "because she didn't think he was the one. She's moving on."

The terrifying images coming out of Japan, which was devastated on Friday, March 11, when it was hit by an 8.9-magnitude earthquake and then a tsunami, was all the talk of Twitter. Celebrities the world over got on their pages to send their thoughts and condolences to all those who have been displaced or have loved ones who are lost or missing. Many spread the word about how everyone can do their part to help, including actress Nina Dobrev, who told followers, "Cannot believe whats happened in Japan..the footage is surreal and scary. What is happening to the earth? Please Text “Red Cross” to 90999." As actor Austin Nichols explained, "Text - redcross - to 90999. And $10 will be charged to your cell phone bill. Let's support those families in #Japan."
Some stars were personally affected by the tragedy, including TV host Jimmy Kimmel, who found himself in the midst of the natural disaster, as his vacation in French Polynesia turned terrifying. "Suddenly, relaxing on an island in the South Pacific isn't so relaxing anymore," he wrote. Then, later in the day he alerted fans, "we are evacuating the island." Jimmy's fans took to their Twitter pages to send him the best, including Alyssa Milano who wrote, "@jimmykimmel Please let us know when you're safe, Jimmy. Sending you love."
The West coast also braced for the impact from what happened in Japan. Actor Daniel Dae Kim tried to carry on on the set of "Hawaii Five-0" and left this heartfelt message, " Back at work, bleary eyed & heartsick, but very grateful. As far as I know, everyone is safe. Thx 2 all of you 4 your kind thoughts. Truly."

James Van Der Beek + Ke$ha + Unicorns. That, dear Crushers, all adds up to one epic music video. The vid for Ke$ha's latest single, "Blow" (pictured), premiered today, and as Ryan Seacrest noted it wasn't just the pop star's fans who were digging the crazy clip, "Dawson's Creek fans are freaking out - James Van Der Beek is in @KeshaSuxx's new video: http://bit.ly/eZGoUm." James himself took to his Twitter to discuss the four-plus minutes of mythical creature madness, "Ever wonder what would happen if @keshasuxx & I fought a gun battle among Unicorns? Wonder no more."
But it wasn't all unicorns and rainbow guns around the Twitterverse today. "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder got real with his fans when he worried about the fate of the show against ratings giant "American Idol." Ian wrote from his page, "Is American Idol the death of The Vampire Diaries? Well, viewership apparently says so... Our #'s are SO down:( if U guys like TVD u may Lose it if we don't tune in:(" While "TVD" fans must band together to keep the undead alive, "One Tree Hill" actor Austin Nichols was up for the "AI" challenge, "Looks like American Idol is destroying the other shows. They should put my show up against idol. Our numbers are always strong. CHALLENGE."

There were so many unexpected moments at last night's 53rd Annual Grammy Awards that are bound to go down in the history books (hello, Lady Gaga's egg!) that the Twitterverse exploded with talk of the memorable ceremony. With an array of amazing performances to choose from, it seems Cee Lo Green's duet with Gwyneth Paltrow (and puppets!) of "Forget You" (pictured) got the most love from viewers. Amongst its famous fans were Emma Roberts, who tweeted, "Gwyneth Paltrow #myhero #epic" and Austin Nichols, who posted, "#Grammys I gotta say, Cee Lo and Gwyneth Paltrow, Muppet back-up singers. Sick. I love you, Gwyneth." Kim Kardashian joined the chorus of those who dug the number, as she wrote from her page, "My fav part of the night was Gwenyth Paltrow! Her performance with CeeLo was crazy! And her jumpsuit was amaze." Meanwhile, Carson Daly had a fine idea for the soul singer and the Oscar winner/"Glee" guest star, "I sorta wanna see the gweneth/cee lo green sitcom. They're roomates and break into song at breakfast."
While Cee Lo somehow walked home empty-handed from the Grammys, indie rockers Arcade Fire most certainly didn't, as they snagged the night's biggest prize, Album of the Year. The win may have been an upset, but nobody seemed too upset about it on Twitter, including the band members themselves, who excitedly told followers, "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Thank you EVERYONE." They weren't alone in their joy. Case in point: gracious Grammy losers like Paramore's leading lady Hayley Williams who told the group, "So proud and happy for Arcade Fire!! Wow wow wow" and Maroon 5's front man Adam Levine had his faith restored when he rejoiced, "Arcade fire won album of the year. There is a GOD!"

If you stayed up until the wee hours of the morning trying to get a glimpse at that amazing lunar eclipse, you were hardly the only one craning your neck towards the night sky. Former "American Idol" contestant Jordin Sparks (pictured) told fans that she was, "Literally outside in my pjs using my telescope watching this lunar eclipse" while, unfortunately, fellow songstress Michelle Branch, "Missed the lunar eclipse because of all the rain clouds :(" Luckily for her, Ryan Seacrest generously shared the winter solstice wonder, "If u missed the lunar eclipse last night, here's the whole thing in 2 minutes: http://bit.ly/fBUgkR."
And speaking of things in the dark, the doomed-from-the-get-go Broadway show "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark" hit yet another snag as the injury-prone production saw a fourth accident on stage (this time, an actor plunged 20-30 feet while performing a stunt during a preview on Monday night). The show, which has already been pushed back quite a few times, has famous Broadway fans nervous to even step foot in the theater. As "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson put it, "I'm torn between wanting to see "Spiderman" on Broadway and not wanting to see someone literally die doing musical theater."

We're but two days away from the most fun holiday of the year...Halloween! The stars are just as excited about October 31st as we are, including "One Tree Hill" actor Austin Nichols who shared his scary good pumpkin carving skills with followers, "This is my pumpkin for Halloween. Very Proud. http://twitpic.com/31v9y2." Meanwhile, Jessica Alba (pictured) took a cue from us here at HC and talked about the movies which gave her the biggest fright, "these r sum of my fav 80s horror flicks-Hellraiser,A Nightmare on Elm Street,The Lost Boys,It,Pet Sematary& Cujo 2 name a few #80flicksrock."
Of course, in addition to the treats on Halloween, there are always some tricksters, so it's fitting that Jimmy Fallon and his "Late Night" bandleader Questlove stopped by the dare-you-not-to-scream "Silent Library" set! The Roots drummer tweeted, "Why'd I let @jimmyfallon talk me into shooting silent library 6am?" while Jimmy posted, "Me & the Roots just shot an ep of MTV's Silent Library. Owen had to get licked. http://twitpic.com/31ws4p."

As we all know too well, every now and then Twitter has a few glitches. Some celebs experienced that firsthand today (no, it wasn't the dreaded Fail Whale) when they no longer had their accounts "verified." Included in that confusing blunder was actress Elizabeth Banks, who wondered, "Twitter Overlords, what did I do to lose my Verified status? I swear it's still me. *flirtatious batting of eyelashes.*" Meanwhile, "Parenthood" star Dax Shepard took a different approach to things when he became un-verified, as he posted, "Twitter, what have I done to lose my verified status? Were you pro-prop 8? Was it my snarky Palin comments? Are you Glenn Beck fans?"
For the stars whose Twitters were working just fine, many took time to talk to their followers about an important cause: recycling. ""One Tree Hill" actress Sophia Bush tweeted that, "First scene of the day at OTH and everyone is recycling! Joyous!
http://twitpic.com/2bv32p," while her co-star and boyfriend, Austin Nichols (both pictured) gave fans a stat to think about: "Let's all be more like brazil. They have a 96.5% recycling rate."

Last weekend might've been the 4th of July, but that doesn't mean this weekend won't be equally as summery and fun. Today in Twitterland, celebs were abuzz with their weekend plans. Ciara, in the Big Apple to celebrate her friend LaLa Vasquez's wedding, wrote "NY NY! Yessir! Its about to be a beeaaautiful weekend!! Soooo excited for Saturday!! WOW!" Jojo headed for the opposite coast, tweeting, "Haven't slept in 24 hours. Been packing up my condo in Boston w/ the help of a wicked awesome friend. LA ill be to you tonight." Actress Haylie Duff is also spending some time in NYC, and was none too pleased with her chosen form of transportation in the city. "Apparently a 'green' cab in New York is actually just a cab with NO AIR CONDITIONING," she wrote.
Elsewhere in the Twitterverse, "17 Again" star Hunter Parrish saw this weekend's big release, "Despicable Me," and shared his thoughts on the movie -- sounds like it's going to be good. "Despicable Me---hilarious! Felt like a Pixar...."

It's a season of firsts on "So You Think You Can Dance." The reality competition changed things up by shortening their Top 20 to a Top 10 and as of tonight, they'll go live for an episode for the first time in the show's history. 'Dance' judge Adam Shankman tweeted, "Tonight: first live SYTYCD show!!! Let the battle begin!!!!!" Lance Bass was sure to be part of the excitement, posting, "Excited to go see a taping of So You Think You Can Dance tonight! Holla!"
Elsewhere, the Twitter family extended to grow (yesterday we made sure to add Twitter newbie/soccer hottie Cristiano Ronaldo) with the addition of "One Tree Hill" star Austin Nichols. Austin (or as most of you know him, Julian Baker) sent out his maiden tweet late last night, telling new followers, "Hey this is Austin Nichols. I've decided to join Twitter to Tweet pure outrageousness!!! Thanks to all the fans for following." Happy to have you, Austin!"
