If you weren't at one of the 500 Target stores that premiered exclusive footage of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" last night, you’re in luck, because we’ve got a wrap-up. Check out our coverage of the event, and let’s delve a little deeper into the exciting first look at the finale of vampires, werewolves and hybrids.
The five-minute long clip featured greetings from pretty much the whole cast (hey there, Jasper and Emmett!) with Kristen Stewart talking about her favorite of Bella’s powers: Her "super self-control." There was also a behind-the-scenes look at Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in the woods rehearsing, presumably footage from the upcoming, intense final battle. To the disappointment of many in the crowd, Taylor was wearing a shirt for the entirety of the clip.

In just a few short hours, Bella and Edward will be yours to have and to hold forever as "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" hits DVD and Blu-ray. Target stores across the country (500 in all) will be hosting special release parties beginning at 11 p.m., where you'll not only be able to pick up a copy of the hot hit but also see a sneak peek clip of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." (Yes, we are squeezing our Edward Cullen doll extra tight right now to avoid hyperventilating...)
But we can't let Target have all the fun. Nuh-uh. Which is why we spent the better part of this afternoon watching the disc's nearly 90-minute, six-part making-of documentary. And boy did we learn a lot—we could write a thesis! But we won't. Cause that'd be boring. So instead, we've compiled a list of five interesting facts we gleaned from the special feature. Check 'em out after the jump!

Bella, meet Katniss. Katniss, meet Bella. Though the heroines of YA's chief wunderkinds have yet to meet in real life (or so we've been told), they'll come face-to-face on the big screen when the trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" debuts before theatrical showings of "The Hunger Games," according to the L.A. Times.
The news isn't all together surprising considering the studios behind the teen titans (Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate) announced plans last month to merge, creating a single home for our biggest on-screen obsessions. Yet, it's also no secret that though these two fan factions often intersect, many stans still claim alliance to only one franchise or the other.
Which leaves us wondering, will you be buying a ticket to "The Hunger Games" come March 23? And why? Vote in our poll after the jump to let us know!

This is how it begins: a black rectangle, some gleaming gold text, a far-away date and the sound of millions of young ladies screaming Edward Cullen's name in hysterical symphony.
Which is to say, the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" title treatment is here—thus kicking off the fifth and final round of promotional hype for the most epic cinematic vampire love story of all time. And having been around "The Twilight Saga" block before, we know exactly what's coming up next: nine glorious months of teasers, trailers, posters, promotional stills, big news, teensy sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes gossip, and, eventually, a weeks-long celebration of the release that will include cast interviews, red-carpet rundowns, a great deal of hyperventilating and very, very few pairs of un-peed-upon pants. This is it! It all ends here! And are you ready?
BECAUSE OMG WE ARE SO READY.

The wait is almost over! In little more than a week, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" will be yours to own on Blu-ray and DVD, meaning you can hit repeat on all those awkward wedding toasts over and over again. (Or, y'know, one of the steamy sex scenes. If that's your thing.) In anticipation of the February 11 release, we've nabbed an EXCLUSIVE DVD extra in which "Twilight" scribe (and "Breaking Dawn" producer) Stephenie Meyer recalls filming the climactic birth scene. Watch the behind-the-scenes clip of Edward (Robert Pattinson) trying to revive Bella (Kristen Stewart) as Stephenie explains:
"He was really able to touch the human emotions of that scene. Rob really nailed it," Stephenie recalled. "It was really powerful. I teared up, several people near me did. It was just a lump in your throat—that moment of thinking you've lost everything and not being able to accept it. It was really emotional."

If you've ever found yourself fantasizing about what an Edward Cullen-Pitbull collaboration would look like, well, we're about to make your (very weird) dreams come true. The sister production team of Hilly and Hannah Hindi (known as The Hillywood Show) have released their latest parody, taking aim at "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" with a dance-club-ready soundtrack.
Much like their "Eclipse" clip, the sisters turn to Lady Gaga's songbook for inspiration, co-opting her hit "Marry the Night" and re-imagining it as "Marry Edward." Bella and back-up dancers wiggle down the aisle to the upbeat jam until her vampire groom breaks in with Pittbull's "Give Me Everything" (which I will forever and always associate with the celebrity-stuffed trailer for "New Year's Eve" and which will now be playing on loop in my head for the next three days).

Wondering what "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2" will look like? Well, you won’t have to wait much longer to find out because Target has plans to debut a scene from the Bill Condon-directed flick next month.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the mass retailer is set to host a "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" DVD/Blu-ray release event at 500 stores across the country on February 10. The fete will kick off at 11 p.m., debuting a sneak peek scene from the ultimate installment. (FYI: Not even Target employees will know which moment until they push play.) While Target will get its own exclusive Limited-Collector’s Edition DVD, the “Breaking Dawn - Part 2” scene won’t be included. More info about the event can be found on Target’s website.

We're on to the next round in our MTV Movie Brawl 2012, and things are heating up! After some stiff competition and a few close races, only the Elite Eight contenders remain—and this next showdown is going to be even hotter.
The unstoppable juggernaut this year? Looks like the one to beat will be "The Hunger Games." It already KOed the much-anticipated "Prometheus" to advance to the next round, and its triumph over opponent "John Carter" is pretty much guaranteed...much as we love the idea of the uberhot Taylor Kitsch as an intergalactic Civil War vet. But there's been a few surprise upsets already as well: "Snow White and the Huntsman" fell flat in favor of "The Woman in Black," and say goodbye to indie darling "Perks of Being a Wallflower"—it couldn't hack it against a pack of hairy-footed hobbits and warmongering dwarfs.

If you only know Peter Facinelli as flaxen-haired Cullen patriarch Carlisle, prepare to see a whole new (criminal!) side of the actor when his screenwriting debut, "Loosies," opens today. Peter stars in the independent film as Bobby, a pick-pocket who accidentally impregnates a girl during their one-night stand. (What would Esme say?!)
We sat down with Peter to get all the dish on his romance caper but, of course, talk inevitably turned to "The Twilight Saga," whose final installment hits theaters November 16. Though he has yet to see any footage from the highly anticipated release, Peter was more than happy to share a bit about the scope of the grandiose production.

Before you know it, February 11 will be here, and you’ll be able to own your own copy of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1" on DVD, meaning you can watch and re-watch that epic wedding scene over and over and over again. And if you can't get that fabulous $35,000 Carolina Herrera-designed nuptial gown out of your mind, take solace in the fact that you're not the only one. In the upcoming issue of Town & Country Weddings (via People), the designer recalled star Kristen Stewart's wowed response to the frock.
"We did three fittings. When she initially put on the dress and looked over her shoulder into the mirror, she was very moved,” Carolina said. "In that moment she was not an actress or a character in a film but instead a bride, and a happy one at that."
