Last weekend we pondered which "Gossip Girl" star would have a bigger opening weekend: Blake Lively in "The Town" or Penn Badgley in "Easy A"? While the teen comedy performed very well among moviegoers and critics, it was no match for Ben Affleck's crime drama (it raked in $23.8 million for the top spot at the box office.) Fellow "Gossip Girl" star Zuzanna Szadkowski gave props, as she posted, "I saw The Town this weekend. Some really cool scenes, and I thought Blake Lively was amazing." Meanwhile, "Glee" actor-dancer Harry Shum was clearly a fan of the flick, as he tweeted, "The Town was brilliant. Very impressed by every1s performance. Hats off to Ben Affleck."
While some celebs lined up at the theater, others took the stage for the final Jonas Brothers tour show in the U.S. Anna Maria Perez de Tagle wrote, "Wow. I can't believe we did it! U.S Jonas Brothers World Tour is over! Much love to my tour family..Until South America.... :)" There were some famous faces in the crowd too, including Wilmer Valderrama who told followers, "Just left the #CampRock2 concert, big shout out 2 the @JonasBrothers & @ddlovato for finishing your tour with a bang! Demi amazing job sist!" Rob Kardashian gave props to Demi Lovato as well, telling her via Twitter, "Just left @ddlovato concert. Took my little Sisters. Thanks Dem Dem!
Great show! Beautiful voice!"

Summer may be drawing to a close, but camp is in session for the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato as they head back into the woods for "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," debuting on Disney Channel, Friday, Sept. 3 at 8/7c. If you liked the 2008 TV movie, then you'll definitely want to write home about the sequel as it's even bigger than the original. How do we know? The Jonas Brothers told us so!
When we caught up with the JoBros on the road for their summer tour, they couldn't help but gush about their upcoming flick. "I think overall, the production and the music were definitely on the next level," Joe Jonas explained. "The staging was phenomenal for the film. We were always filming somewhere different. Every other day was a new location. For us, that was really exciting because for the first one we stuck to about three different sets, and this time probably having 15, 16 different sets, for us, that was really exciting."

Let’s all take a minute to wish a fabulous birthday to one Demi Lovato! The Disney starlet is finally turning 18 today, and to help her celebrate we’re going to reflect on her career thus far. She really hasn’t done much in her 18 years on this planet at all, right? Wrong! Let’s take a look back...
For starters, she’s spending the summer on a 45-city tour with the Jonas Brothers. The Jonas Brothers! That’s a pretty good way to spend your big day, if you don’t mind us saying so!

We've all heard rumblings of Frankie Jonas over the years. He's even hit up red carpets with his older brothers, Nick, Joe and Kevin. The kid's even made cameos on JONAS" and had his voice star in a flick, "Ponyo." And the kid is ready for his close-up and he's getting in "Camp Rock 2" where he plays Trevor.
His older brothers are super excited to have the youngest Jonas Brother on board and in the spotlight with them, even if they don't really approve of his premiere night wardrobe. When MTV News caught up with all the sibs at the "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" premiere in New York City they seemed a bit incredulous to Frankie's stripped beanie hat that he strutted down that carpet (like a pro, might we add) with.

Unlike most of Hollywood, Demi Lovato admittedly isn't a Gleek. She's super busy these days working on an album, touring and promoting "Camp Rock 2." So, it's kind of unsurprising she hasn't had the time to check out "Glee" just yet. But, she has found a reason to watch and his name is Chord Overstreet.
You see, the "Camp Rock 2" cutie and the newest Gleek are old friends. "I've actually never seen 'Glee' before but one of my good friends just booked it and I'm really proud of him," Demi told MTV News. "So his name is Chord and he's like a brother. So, I'm really proud of him. I'll watch it now that he's on it."

We’re still wondering what Demi Lovato's R&B transformation will be like on her new LP, but the budding pop star’s obsession with Rihanna has already made its mark on her current tour.
When MTV News caught up with Demi to chat about choosing looks for her solo set — as well as her "Camp Rock 2" tunes as Mitchie — the actress/singer cited the Rated R songstress as a major inspiration.

Traveling across the country by day and playing rock shows at night sounds like such a rough lifestyle doesn’t it? (Yeah right!) But even with so much excitement, things can get a little TOO crazy and so they seek a bit of normalcy in their lives.
That’s why Demi Lovato recently shared with MTV News why she likes to squeeze in everyday teenage things when she’s not rockin’ out on stage alongside the Jonas Brothers on their “Camp Rock 2” tour.

“The Final Jam” may not have been the best choice of titles for the second installment in the “Camp Rock” series, because no one — including actress/dancer Alyson Stoner — is ruling out a third chapter. When MTV News caught up with Alyson at Monday’s premiere of “Step Up 3D” in Hollywood, Alyson dished on her character and hinted that the series could, maybe, keep going!
“That’s gonna have to be decided once the people see it, and we’ll see how it’s received, [so] maybe,” Alyson confessed, regarding the possibility of a “Camp Rock 3.”

In happier days, when they were still dating one another, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato posed as a couple for their Teen Vogue cover shoot. The pair starting off by discussing, at great length, the early days of their courtship and why they decided to finally date one another.
They met when Demi auditioned for "JONAS," and later became close thanks to "Camp Rock." According to Demi the idea of a "relationship," was spawned from her: "One night I asked him, 'What is the deal? We’re perfect for each other. What are you doing?'" Joe freaked a little bit then came knocking on her door. "Once she confronted me, I kind of confronted myself," he told the mag.
