Hollywood Crush has moved! come with us to mtv news »

After hearing so much talk of shenanigans on the set of "The Hunger Games," we thought for sure that the newbies in the "Catching Fire" cast would be in for some major hazing at the hands of their fellow tributes (particularly Jennifer Lawrence, whose goat-getting abilities are legend for obvious reasons). But when we caught up with Alan Ritchson, who joined the cast this year as career tribute Gloss, he had nothing but good things to say about his experience making the film.

"No hazing, fortunately," he said, laughing. Instead, he described "Catching Fire" as a great place to be, adding, "But to be a part of that, it was pretty cool. Jennifer's star just continued to rise, even through production...it was just cool to be there."

If you're among the "The Hunger Games" fans who tuned in to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards and witnessed the debut of the teaser for "Catching Fire," your reaction to seeing the first ever peek at what's in store for Katniss, Peeta and the citizens of Panem come November was probably something like AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH *HYPERVENTILATES* *RUNS IN CIRCLES* *FLAILS OFF A CLIFF*.

...And that's okay! Because while the rest of us flailed and squealed our way into a concussion, a full-body cast and a lovely night spent behind bars at our local police precinct, MTV had a trio of experts (Erin Gross, The HungerGamesMovies.net; Kimmy West, Mockingjay.net; and Amie Bohannon, HGGirlOnFire.com) ready behind the scenes to offer the sort of eloquent, insightful, sedately non-flailing response to the "Catching Fire" tease that most of us could only have achieved through the use of a full-body straitjacket and a nice shot of horse tranquilizers. Check out the video to see our three cool-as-a-cucumber aficionados as they weigh in on their favorite things about the trailer—including Katniss' brave face as she stared down the barrel of a gun, a grim and grownup Prim preparing to join the revolution and the fact that we didn't see so much as a second of arena action. (No, really, this is a good thing! The experts say so!)

Jennifer LawrenceConsider the spark of rebellion lit.

The teaser trailer for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire"—introduced by star Liam Hemsworth—blazed onto the scene Sunday night during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

The nearly two-and-a-half minute clip opens with a familiar scene—the sneak peek of Katniss and Peeta taking to the Justice Building stage during their Victory Tour stop in District 11, where a deadly riot ensues. From there, director Francis Lawrence takes us behind-the-scenes of the Capitol, as President Snow and new Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee (R.I.P. Seneca Crane's beard) are conspiring.

Sure, sure, this moment was featured in the earlier promo…but not from this angle. Here, you can see exactly what fashionable frocks our District 12 victors are wearing during the latest leg of their Panem-wide PR bonanza. (Loving the sleeveless tunic, JLaw...)

Ooooooooh! You guys, shhhh! Be very quiet, don't make any sudden movements, and slowly (slowly!) look toward this video clip: We've just captured some rare footage of the elusive Willow Shields in the wild! The girl who plays Primrose Everdeen (sister of Katniss) in "The Hunger Games" franchise was kicking around at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, which meant an opportunity to chase her down and catch ourselves up on where she's at with the dystopian films.

As it turns out, she's on a break again having wrapped up her role a couple months ago—and unfortunately, she couldn't share any gossip on everyone's favorite hot topic, the illustrious Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair. (Her character doesn't leave District 12 until book three, which means she won't be meeting any of the Quarter Quell tributes on-set until "Mockingjay" starts filming.) But she did have something to say about Prim herself, and what we can expect to see when "Catching Fire" comes out later this year.

Finnick OdairHold on to your tridents, Finnick fans! As part of Lionsgate's roll out of super-sumptuous Capitol Portraits featuring our favorite "Catching Fire" crew members, Hollywood Crush has the distinct pleasure of unveiling the visage of District 4's hunkiest of hunks (played by actor Sam Claflin)! The only thing that could make this EXCLUSIVE even better? If Finnick were fitted in his barely-there gold fishnet costume from the Tribute Parade. But all in due time.

And that's not to say the outfit featured here doesn't reflect the tribute's aquatic roots. In fact, there's something positively pirate-esque about Finnick's unbuttoned-down-to-there linen shirt, flouncy evergreen pants and lace-up boots. Let's just say, he's shivering our timbers something good.

If you just heard an unusual sound—a sound that falls on the auditory spectrum somewhere between "deflating balloon" and "pig in heat" —don't be alarmed: it's just the sound of every "Hunger Games" fangirl on earth simultaneously sighing, squeeing, and grunting with delight at the same time. Why? Because Katniss Everdeen's wedding dress, that's why.

Or at least, that's what we think we're seeing in the latest Capitol portrait to be revealed on the exciting, interactive Capitol Couture website (via MSN). In it, we see Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) posed in regal silence by a throne-like chair, sporting some seriously dramatic makeup, and wearing what looks like about 50 pounds' worth of gray-ivory tulle and chiffon. (She's also holding a white rose, which—for those not in the know—almost certainly means that the blushing bride-to-be has recently received a terrifying pre-wedding threat from the villainous President Snow.)

We've still got months to wait before "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" sets our local movie theatre ablaze—but it's never too early to start thinking about what to wear to the November premiere of the series sequel, amirite, ladies? This is, after all, the biggest Capitol event of the year. And if you're looking for inspiration (or if you just want to feast your eyeballs on some of the sumptuous fashions we can expect during this year's pre-Games Panem media blitz), then you'll definitely want to check out the newly revamped Capitol Couture, featuring new official Capitol portrait of our favorite characters.

As of right now, the first one is already up: It's a really stunning, classically styled depiction of Effie Trinket decked out in "an exploding silhouette of chiffon and organza blooms," otherwise known as an all-pink outfit that suggests we can expect just as much (if not more!) sartorial insanity from the ineffable Effie this year. Not to mention that she is wearing actual horseshoes.

Check out the full portrait after the jump!
