"Carrie Diaries" star Chloe Bridges has some killer inside scoop on how "Fifty Shades of Grey" is being adapted for the big screen. How’d she get it? Well, she almost auditioned for the role of Anastasia Steele before Dakota Johnson landed the part.
And, from her description, the flick isn't afraid to go there, much like E.L. James’ bestselling novel. "There were three pages of sides that I was going to audition with," she told Cosmopolitan. "I read them and then was like, I really can't do this."
She then broke down just how graphic the film will get. And it sounds like things will get pretty steamy between Dakota and co-star Charlie Hunnam, who will play Christian Grey. "The scene was, like, the girl telling her friends about some sexcapade she had," she said. "But it goes into extreme detail and uses the word 'sperm' a couple times. I was like, I don't know guys, I have to go home to my grandparents' house in a few months at Christmas, I don't know if I can do this."

A teenage Carrie Bradshaw is a bit hard to imagine. Was her quirky-chic style understood in her youth? Did she always have three besties and a boyfriend? When did she discover her passion for writing? These are the questions that will be answered in the upcoming "Sex and the City" spin-off, "The Carrie Diaries," and thanks to the latest bit of casting scoop from Deadline, we're getting even more insight into The CW series and our plucky protagonist.
"Camp Rock 2" star Chloe Bridges is joining the cast as Carrie's high school nemesis, Donna Ladonna, described as popular and confident, though boasting a bit more than meets the eye. In a show revolving around relationships (romantic and otherwise), it will be interesting to see what Donna Ladonna will bring to the show as not a friend, or even a frenemy, but as an enemy.
If you were a fan of the first "Camp Rock" movie starring the always lovely Demi Lovato and the always adorable Jonas Brothers, you probably don't need much convincing to catch its sequel, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" when it debuts tonight on Disney Channel. But, the stars of the song-and-dance fest were more than willing to provide a few good reasons to catch the TV movie, when MTV News caught up with them at the flick's New York City premiere.
"We have two camps this time—Camp Rock and Camp Star—and we kind of just battle it out to see who wins," explained star Jasmine Richards. "There's a lot of cool, fun songs and dances."

Filming for the much anticipated "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” was conducted in the utmost secrecy. How come so hush-hush? Joe Jonas said that “they built a camp for the movie and they blocked off a whole mile radius so that people couldn't really find out what the movie was about.” But fear not crushers because the Jonas Brothers revealed some juicy details about the film exclusively to MTV News. Here is what we know so far.
The original 2008 hit saw budding romance between our favorite characters Mitchie Torres and Shane Gray, played by real-life couple Demi Lovato and Joe. But guess what? Demi told MTV News last fall that, "We upped the romantic scenes" and even younger brother Nick Jonas gets a love interest this time around, thanks to actress Chloe Bridges. Also, Joe Jonas told us to expect rivalry with another camp across the lake. Drama!
It's 2010 and that means we are that much closer to the release of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam." Last week, Disney released some a teaser trailer and an interview with the cast of the flick (including the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato), and the whole crew gushed about how they've really upped the musical ante in the sequel to the highly successful Disney Channel flick.
"I think music is what drives Camp Rock 2," Demi says in the preview (check out the full video here). Kevin Jonas added, "People are having a blast. They're giving their all every time you see something on the screen."
