It's been nearly 10 years since Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) was torn between her love for Mr. Big (Chris Noth) and Aidan (John Corbett), but now with the impending release of "Sex and The City 2" the triangle is back in action.

"[Michael Patrick King] told me the idea, and I said, 'That sounds great.' I think the fans enjoyed Aidan and Carrie and the Big triangle, and Michael Patrick King was really smart the way he worked it out," John told MTV News.

If you were hoping that the Bradshaw-Big matchup of Sex and the City would last forever, watch out: there's a dark horse on the horizon. The "SATC" sequel contains a much-awaited cameo by Aidan Shaw, a.k.a. The Ex-Boyfriend, a.k.a. the only man who could ever throw a wrench in Carrie Bradshaw's happily-ever-after with the man of her dreams. But while Carrie might have mixed feelings about encountering her old flame during the ladies' cinematic adventures in Abu Dhabi, Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't have a single reservation! The star of the new movie says she's thrilled to be back on screen with John Corbett, the actor who plays him.

"John Corbett is gold," said Sarah Jessica, sitting down with MTV News to talk about the reunion of their characters — and cleverly dodge any and all questions about whether Aidan's reemergence on the scene could be (gasp!) a threat to Carrie's marriage.

When you see that Sarah Jessica Parker is gracing the cover of May's issue of Vogue, your mind might not immediately jump to the assumption that this is to honor the Met Museum of Art Costume Institute's "American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity" exhibit (like the press release says it is).

It makes a bit more sense that Vogue chose the month of May to coincide with another big release: "Sex and the City 2." But, with the upcoming glamorous sequel set to make more than the half a billion dollars the first "Sex and the City" movie made in theaters, it's easy to see why the two are inextricably entwined.

Slip on your Manolos and grab a Cosmo, girls, because the first "Sex and the City 2" trailer is here! The nearly minute-and-a-half trailer reveals few plot points, but the sequel looks like another fun- and fashion-filled romp, centering around a girlfriend getaway to the desert.

The trailer (see it after the jump!) opens with quick shots of New York City accompanied by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' seriously apropos hit "Empire State of Mind." "It's been two years and in two years, amazing things can happen," purrs Sarah Jessica Parker. Cut to Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) sauntering down a Big Apple sidewalk, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) baking cupcakes with her 2-year-old daughter Rose and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) doing something at what appears to be a wedding (the rumored Stanford Blatch-Anthony Marantino nuptials, perhaps?).

Much like Miley Cyrus' cameo in the sequel to "Sex and the City: The Movie" was once one a big mystery, we've now unearthed details about another thespian's (this time it's an Academy Award winner!) guest stint.

In October, People reported that Penelope Cruz would be appearing in the film (which is slated to be released in 2010) as a banker, and while we can't exactly confirm if her financial abilities are going to be highlighted, we can shed more light on the logistics behind her part. "I'm in it for very, very little time," she told MTV News during a press event for her next film "Nine." "It's a collaboration that I did because I am a huge fan of the show and the movie and Sarah Jessica Parker."

Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Heels clicked together in glee around the world yesterday when the first shots of Sarah Jessica Parker shooing the sequel to last summer's "Sex and the City: The Movie" appeared all over the Internet (and, of course, here on Hollywood Crush!).Well keep rejoicing "Sex" addicts because today we bring you shots of none other than Carrie's hubby, John Preston — better known to most as Mr. Big (Chris Noth). In the photo below, the fashionista and her businessman look to be just hopping out of a sleek silver Mercedes (yeah, if only the rest of us New Yorkers could be so lucky to have such a sweet ride!). We're clueless as to where they could be venturing from (or to), but thanks to the fine people behind Red Carpet Fashion Awards, we know SJP is rocking a Halston Heritage dress, Christian Louboutin "Gino T-Strap" shoes and a Christian Louboutin "Sylvia Drapey Hobo." UPDATE: We've also located Carrie's sunglasses, they are Jee Vice’s "Heated" sunglasses, which available right now from the company's site for $170.

Click on the image above to see the full view of the two lovebirds, and find out what other stylish New Yorkers we caught on set after the jump. Read more...
