Chris Pine's baby blues can look deep into our souls any day of the week. And this week they will once again grace the big screen in the action-packed rom-com, "This Means War." Sure, we could never pick between Tom Hardy and Chris, if we ever actually had to, but we were able to pull the trigger and name one of them this week’s Hump Day Hottie. So, congrats Chris! And, Tom, you can cry on our shoulder any time you want.
Check out this dreamy photo of Chris and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: 31-year-old Chris grew up in sunny Los Angeles. His family was always heavily involved in Hollywood, as actors and industry folks (his dad, Robert Pine, starred on the '70s series "CHiPs"). Chris attended University of California, Berkeley, where he studied English, and spent a year abroad at the University of Leeds in England. He's cultured!

I'd wager many a girl wouldn't mind two guys fighting over her. But when the gentlemen in question are CIA agents played by Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, well, that could get a little dangerous. In the new trailer for "This Means War," Captain Kirk and Bane duke it out over Reese Witherspoon's character, who's been dating both of them at the same time. The co-workers decide to play it cool and see who Reese's character ends up choosing, but that wouldn't make a very good movie, would it? Things really start to get interesting when the competition heats up and the agents start sabotaging each other.
Chris and Tom pull out all the stops to make sure the other's dates with Reese go horribly, horribly wrong. You haven't had a bad date until you're thisclose to sealing the deal only to catch a tranquilizer dart in the neck. But then again, you've probably never had your rival hack the sprinkler system to go off at just the wrong moment.

With the ball dropping in less than 48 hours, the rush is on to stockpile all the New Year's Eve necessities—a little bubbly, funny party hats and, unfortunately, those annoying party blower things. Sadly, one item this writer has yet to lock down is a midnight kissing partner, and since I plan to spend the evening with my female bestie, it's likely I won't find one at all. Wah, wah, wah. BUT, that doesn't stop me from fantasizing about which Hollywood hunk I'd pucker up to if given the chance. Yeah...I've got several in mind. How about you? Which dreamy celeb would you plant a New Year's smooch on if you could? Vote in our poll after the jump. If we didn't include your favorite, make sure to give him a shout-out in the comments!

This is a rare treat. We heard about Channing Tatum's upcoming pet project "Ten Year" back in August, when it was revealed that he was shopping around a flick about a 10-year high school reunion that would hopefully involve his wife, Jenna Dewan, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt and Chris Pine. Well, a director's test has just surfaced at Deadline. The short vignette, called "The Envelope In The Glovebox," seems to be something producer Temple Hill is sending around to industry types in the hopes of drumming up funding.
The short follows Channing and Jenna, his girlfriend in the clip, as he heads to his high school reunion and contemplates proposing to Jenna with a ring he's hidden, where else?, in his car's glovebox. Kate Mara, Haylie Duff and "The Hurt Locker's" Brian Geraghty also appear in the clip. Deadline said that, though he was not included in the clip, Justin Long is looking to be brought on board, as well.

Why yes, that is the delicious Chris Pine on the cover of this month's Details magazine. And yes, he is wearing a pair of buttery, buttock-hugging, Versace leather pants. (And no, we haven't the faintest idea why our copy of the mag is covered in ladydrool. Nope. Not a clue.)
Chris, who was one of last year's biggest breakout actors thanks to his energetic portrayal of Captain Kirk in "Star Trek," sat down with Details for an interview about what's next in his career. It's clear right away that he takes his work seriously; not content to just ride the action-hero wave, he kept busy this summer with a back-breaking stage role in the darkly funny play "The Lieutenant of Inishmore."
That's "back-breaking" in the literal sense, by the way. Pine has a litany of injuries suffered while playing the physically demanding role, telling the interviewer, "My body's all sorts of f--ked-up. I tore my groin, I pulled my neck and my glute, tweaked my rhomboid, sprained my f--king sacrum."

If you haven't already, now is about time to start getting pumped for Sunday night's 2010 Video Music Awards. The show goes live at 9 PM ET, and we can definitely feel the excitement rolling across the country from Los Angeles, where the awards ceremony is being held.
The list of presenters continues to grow, with a handful of the "Glee" cast signing on, including Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley and (!!!) Jane Lynch, and we're sure a couple more will surprise us day of. But those aren't the only hotties that will be gracing the VMAs stage. Continue reading after the jump to see what other Hollywood faves will be presenting!

Channing Tatum has been stepping up his A-game in recent months, signing on to a whole slew of new projects, the latest of which he's pretty much designing from the inside out. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Channing's latest revolves around a 10-year high school reunion.
"Dear John" and "We Are Marshall" screenwriter Jamie Linden will be writing and directing the film, called "Ten Year," and Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen ("The Twilight Saga") will be producing. Channing is having Jamie write the script with certain big-name actors in mind, including someone very close to his heart.

We'll be honest, we don't usually need much provocation to write a story (or post a dreamy, dreamy picture) of "Star Trek" leading man Chris Pine, but today is an extra-special day seeing as it's the hottie's 30th birthday! So let's say it all together: Happy birthday, Chris!
The only small rain cloud threatening this otherwise sunny day is the realization I had a few minutes ago that we have to wait another TWO YEARS until Chris takes back the helm of the USS Enterprise as Captain James T. Kirk in the "Star Trek" sequel. If you want to mark the 2012 calendar you have yet to buy, the official release is June 29, 2012.

We've got to admit, Seth Rogen and Chris Pine are two of our favorite men in Hollywood right now, and they're both pretty sought after commodities. So when TheWrap learned that they might soon be starring in a film together, our attention was piqued.
Of course, the potential casting reminded us immediately of the unlikely match of Seth and James Franco in "Pineapple Express," which turned out to be perfect because of their pitch-perfect chemistry together. While Seth and Chris haven't worked together previously like Seth and James did in "Freak and Geeks," we still think the comparison fits.

We like the idea of Tina Fey and Steve Carell starring as a couple in a movie together. It just feels right. Usually it isn't until after a movie comes out that we are convinced of a couples' chemistry, like Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling in "The Notebook" or Jonah Hill and Michael Cera in "Superbad," but this one we have a feeling about.
Tina and Steve have the same type of comedic mojo that works so well together, and we knew they were meant to star in something as a pair from the start. So, in honor of them, we decided to put together a list of some other comedians we thing should have a "Date Night" someday soon, too.
Check out our full list after the jump!
