Yesterday the TV world got quite the shock when it was announced that Joss Whedon's cult series "Dollhouse" would be getting the ax. The show's star Eliza Dushku (pictured with Joss) took to her Twitter to talk to fans about the too soon departure. Eliza confirmed, "Hear it here. Hey, that's really why I started twitter, the rumors/news IS true: Dollhouse will not cont. past these 13 eps :(," and later posted, "BUT... There's always a but... I can't express enough-- this has been one of the MOST rewarding experiences of my career. Thank you guys!" While we're very sad to see "Dollhouse" go, at least we'll still be able to get our Whedon fix on "Glee" soon.
While Eliza Dushku deals with the loss of her show, Britney Spears had to put up with the dreaded hacked Twitter page. Brit's camp alerted followers, "Britney's twitter account was just hacked. The situation has been resolved and we apologize for any offense the hacker's messages caused." Elsewhere, Alyssa Milano tweet battled (twattled?) her own online imposter, posting, "Really, @AlyMilano?"
Check out what else was going on in the Twitterverse, besides hacked accounts, that is. From Katerina Graham's #1 "Vampire Diaries" fan, to Mark Hoppus' and Joel Madden's not-so-sweet dreams (they should be having Tweet Dreams instead, don't ya think?)

FROM MOVIES BLOG: "Dollhouse" fans, the news you've been dreading has officially arrived — Joss Whedon's latest television endeavor is dead.
The Hollywood Reporter has the breaking news that Fox has canceled "Dollhouse," the Eliza Dushku-starring series created by Whedon. The article notes that despite a DVR-induced ratings bump, "Dollhouse" just couldn't cut it by the network's standards. As a result, the series will be put out to pasture after the 13th episode of the second season. Episode 11 is currently filming.
If the ratings and the mixed reaction from fans and reviewers weren't proof enough that "Dollhouse" was in trouble, the very fact that Fox pulled the series from November sweeps was a clear indicator of the show's impending cancellation.

Eliza Dushku has already revealed that "Firefly" actress Summer Glau will be stopping by the "Dollhouse" this season. But what we really wanted to know was who from "Buffy" or "Angel" would she like to reunite with on her show. True, she's network mates with David Boreanaz, and she already stars side-by-side with Amy Acker on "Dollhouse," but there's got to be someone else from back in the day she'd like to work with?
Well, the answer is yes, there is. And that person happens to be former TV werewolf, Seth Green. Though, before she would even bring up the redhead's name, she got a little nervous about answering our "weighty" question. "That's so big. I don't want to single someone out and then leave out the others," she admitted, and then finally fessed up. "You know who I ran into the other day was Seth Green. He looks exactly the same. I mean that dude does not age. He's adorable and smart and funny and I think he'd be an interesting addition to the Dollhouse." Press play below to hear more from Eliza!
So, would you love to see Oz and Faith reunited on the small screen? How awesome would that be?

With Joss Whedon fans ready to throw their arms up in anger over the expected cancellation of Fox’s “Dollhouse,” it was a more than a pleasant surprise when Fox announced last month that the show would be renewed for a second season.
Before the cult hit returns (filming begins next month!), fans can get their fill of the dolls at San Diego's Comic-Con. The unaired 13th episode from season one, titled “Epitaph One,” will remain off FOX broadcasting channels, but fans will be lucky enough to see the episode — and Whedon and star Eliza Dushku — during a two-hour panel.
In a recent interview with MTV, Dushku said the episode, which is a flash-forward to an post-apocalyptic “different world of where the Dollhouse can and would evolve to,” will still have some continuity to seasons one and two. Read more...

Oh, the world of Twitter, where celebrities keep their stalker fans happy and following with 140-character teases into their lives in the hopes they will reveal something new, exciting and exclusive.
Twitter followers of “Dollhouse" star Eliza Dushku were lucky enough to be graced on June 4 with such news when she posted that she would be coming to Boston to film a new movie. News has since leaked that it's called “Valediction,” and co-stars “The Chronicles of Narnia” babe Ben Barnes, but MTV got the chance to chat with Eliza to find out what exactly “Valediction” is all about.
