With the debut of “New Moon” just around the corner, the age-old Team Jacob or Team Edward dispute is going to come more and more into play. Celebrities and fans are continuing to choose sides, but some people are still having trouble deciding — the mysterious, passionate vampire or the hunky, sweet teen-werewolf. To make your decision a little easier, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner picked the characters apart and pin-pointed just what it is that will make you drool over both the bloodsucker and werewolf.
Although you would assume Taylor is Team Jacob, he understands how your vote could go either way. “It just depends on your type … If you believe in that friendship and you guys are friends at first and you develop this deep friendship and then all of a sudden fall in love later on, then you should be Team Jacob," he noted. “But, if you believe in love at first sight, seeing that mysterious man in the corner, then alright, join Team Edward.” Check out the clip above to find out which team Kristen chooses and who she thinks Bella should be with.
Are you Team Jacob or Edward? Why?
He'll shield you from runaway minivans, scale ancient Evergreens with you tucked safely on his back and even serenade you with a soothing lullaby on the piano. Edward Cullen is basically the world's best—dead or undead—boyfriend ever. Or is he? We've got to admit, some of the bloodsucker's behavior in the upcoming "Twilight" sequel seems a bit—dare we say it?—jerky. When we caught up with actor Robert Pattinson at a press junket in Beverly Hills, we couldn't help but ask if Edward really is a tool. And we had some pretty damning evidence in hand.
In "New Moon" Edward makes his first appearance whizzing into the Forks High school parking lot in his signature Volvo. But when the vamp parks his sweet ride he takes up not one, not two but three (!!) parking spots. Kind of a douchey move, right? After blaming director Chris Weitz for the parking faux pas, Robert rationalized the maneuver saying, "I think [Edward did it] because that was the only spot, there weren't any other spots available. It would be less of a dramatic entrance if I'm, like, backing up into something," he added with a laugh.

Have you bought a pumpkin this year? Don’t know what to do with it? We at MTV personally had a serious pumpkin problem this year and we were under much distress. So you know what we did? We carved Robert Pattinson’s face into it and all our problems just whittled away ... just like that. October 31st is Halloween and November 20th the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon" hits the theaters. What better way to celebrate than to combine the two?! Now we want YOU to get on slicing and dicing! This is where the Rob O’Lantern Contest starts.
The deal: Find a pumpkin; any pumpkin — gigantic, petite or just plain odd sized and sliver Robert Pattinson’s face into it. It could look like the zealous Edward Cullen, the daring Cedric Diggory or R-Patz himself. If you carved your pumpkin and it still looks plain to you, make it have a little scruff just like Rob. Throw on a wig that emulates his hair! Make him have that signature daring little smirk. It doesn’t matter! Make it the best it can possibly be! When you are finished send a picture of your pumpkin to http://your.mtv.com with the label “Rob O’Lantern Contest.” The DEADLINE for the photo is THIS FRIDAY October 23. The following week, we'll reveal the top 3, with the grand-prize winner announced October 30.
The prize: Did you just go through all this for nothing? No, absolutely not! The winner will not only get their own personalized Hollywood Crush post to blog about RPattz themselves, but they will also be receiving a brand spanking new copy of Scene It? Twilight . Test your expertise and show off your love for the franchise all in one swoop. It just doesn't get any better.
Thank you, Hot Topic, for giving us everything we never needed for "New Moon": an umbrella with Edwards face covering it, a t-shirt with Jacobs six pack to make up for our own lack thereof, split-moon friendship necklaces, and a shirt that makes us want to take out a restraining order (yes, we are referencing the t-shirt pictured).
All (kind of) joking aside, there is some stuff from Hot Topics new New Moon licensed gear collection that we find to be pretty interesting. Check out our top five picks after the jump!

Hey guys, Chineza here. The “Twilight Fashion Week” finale is upon us, and I am here to show you the last two items from the highly anticipated line of “New Moon” merchandise coming soon from our buddies at Nordstrom. Personally, I wish "Twilight Fashion Week" were like Edward &8212; immortal. But regardless, I’m super-excited to show you these two new items. OME!

The first piece is the Edward charm bracelet, a symbol of my undying love for the vampire and his never-ending hotness. It’s a silver charm bracelet, and each charm has a special meaning representing our favorite Cullen. It has a large, bejeweled "E," a lion charm representing his romance with Bella and — natch — the Cullen crest. My fellow intern Liliana showed you the Bella bracelet that goes with it yesterday, but if you really want to show your love for Edward, this piece is a must-have.

Hey Twilighters! Over the last few days, we’ve been having a blast celebrating “Twilight Fashion Week” here at MTV. After I met some of the nice folks at Nordstrom while covering Comic-Con, we’ve stayed in touch and they were nice enough to send us a whole box of goodies that won’t be on their shelves for a few more weeks, so that we can give an exclusive first-look to you guys. Why? Cuz they know you're hardcore.
First, we showed you the “Team Wolfpack” t-shirts, with some help from Mr. Cam Gigandet. Then, yesterday came the Cullen and Volturi “Crest” tees. But you might be wondering: Hey, where’s all the Edward and Jacob stuff? And how is a girl supposed to accessorize?
Well, don’t worry, because we’ve got both questions covered today. After the jump, take a gander at these super-cool, elegantly simple “Edward” and “Jacob” necklaces that you’ll only see here at Hollywood Crush.

What’s up? I am a new intern with MTV News. I’ve only been here for a week but let me tell you, we’re doing big things over here. My fellow interns and I got an exclusive sneak peek of some “New Moon” gear that will be hitting Nordstrom stores in a few week. Yesterday, Liliana showed you the “Team Wolfpack” tees, and now I get to show you more new stuff as MTV’s “Twilight Fashion Week” continues!
Now, I’m not big on showing off my “Twilight” obsession for the whole world to see — I mean, wearing a shirt with a big, screaming movie title just ain’t my style, OK? — which is exactly why I love today’s “Crest" tees (I'm wearing one of them in the picture above).

Taylor Swift isn't shy when it comes to talking about Taylor Lautner, her costar and onscreen love interest in "Valentine's Day." And although the duo have minor roles, we do know that from the photos that emerged while they were shooting (including the one from the right), that they may become one of our favorite couples in movie history.
So, it's nice to know where Swift stands when it comes to the ultimate debate: Team Edward vs. Team Jacob. Apparently, she is on Team Jacob, a.k.a. Team Taylor Lautner. "Aw, Tay-Tay. Well, see, I don't know Rob Pattinson, so I would just by default, I'd be on Team Tay," she said on Z-100 about her "Valentine's Day" costar. "I love him. He's so cute!"

Edward Cullen can save you from a bloodthirsty vampire, read your thoughts (unless your name is Bella Swan), and play a lovely lullaby for you on the piano. But how is he at remembering to pick up milk at the grocery store? Pretty good, if you're talking about the new "Twilight"-themed, Edward-approved notepads from LobotoME.
The Bite Me notepads, which you can order from Delight.com for $9.75, are meant to "Fuel your O.C.D. (Obsessive Cullen Disorder)." Separated into two halves, the left side is for your to-do list ("when you're not dreaming about Edward...") and the right side, featuring the silhouette of the beloved bloodsucker, is to "doodle on when you are dreaming about Edward..." Inscribed at the bottom is the oh-so-true-line "Twilight...the beginning of the end of my sanity." How fun!

It's clear from theatrical-quality trailers, Photoshopped movie posters and prolific fan fiction that Twilighters are a creative bunch. And that creativity even extends to their wardrobe. We recently stopped by the Cafe Press site to take a look at the warehouse-size inventory of "New Moon" designs for tees and hoodies, and we were pretty impressed with the clever, fun merch we saw.
So, we've compiled a list of our top five faves to wear around town or to the movie's premiere come November 20 (yes, there is even a graphic with a calendar on it and that date is circled in red with the words "Sick Day." Just don't let your bosses or teachers see you wearing it!) Read more...
