Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

"Rehab" singer Rihanna was Spotted! heading to Milk Studio in New York yesterday, with a daring hairdo. The fashion forward singer, who recently announced via Twitter that her third album, Rated R, will be released on November 23, was decked out in all black...we're talking black shirt, pants, jacket and, of course, sunglasses. Besides the jewelry, the only touch of color came from her bold red lipstick and brown ankle-length boots. The riskiest part of the whole look though was probably the hair, which was shaved at the sides and styled into a mohawk. We're not sure what to make of her stylings yet, but we've got to give it to Rihanna — the girl knows how to keep things interesting!

Not only was “Juno” the little movie from 2007 that could, but it’s the little movie that’s still doing. Following the success of the film, Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody moved onto bigger projects like the Megan Fox-starring “Jennifer’s Body” (yeah, whatever, it flopped, we still love them) and the Steven Spielberg-produced Showtime comedy “United States of Tara.”

Director Jason Reitman’s newest film “Up In The Air” has been getting plenty of buzz on the film festival circuit, and Michael Cera has brought nerds-as-the-romantic-lead to a new level.

And then there’s Ellen Page. God, we love Ellen! Her newest film “Whip It!" is getting plenty of critic and box office love, and now her razor-sharp wit is getting its own special attention.

With a name like Rosa Sparks in "Whip It," it comes as no surprise that rapper turned actress Eve got her kicks knocking around girls on the roller derby track. We mean, Eve's a rapper. She's arguably pretty tough. And, so training for the flick and eventually getting the chance to use her skills in the movie was a very exciting prospect for her.

"At the end of the three week camp, once I was stable on the skates it felt amazing. Honestly, it felt amazing to be going around the track," she told MTV News about the roller derby flick. "It felt amazing to be huddled up with the girls and filming about and hip checking a girl. It really did feel good."

Juliette Lewis may play tough as nails Iron Maven, who out to get Babe Ruthless (Ellen Page) in "Whip It," but in real life she explains that her intentions weren't at all to hurt her costar, even if director and fellow skater Drew Barrymore thought it might be good for the flick.

"Oh no! That was a lot of pressure," she said of having to play an experienced roller derby queen. "All of us were in roller derby camp and I had to be the best but I'm not the best. I'm not gonna lie. I'm humble. But you know there's some good editing there, but we all did our own skating like 98 percent of our skating. I remember I had to knock down Ellen in a part cause I'm really vicious and Drew was like, 'I really want you to get her.' But I was like, 'Yeah within reason cause I'm not sending Ellen to the hospital!'"

In the clip, Lewis also explains what it was like to be the lady of experience in the flick. She admits that she has a lot in common with her character, being that she's somewhat of a woman with experience. But, as you can tell, she's not quite as mean as Iron Maven.

In our exclusive clip from the hotly anticipated girl power flick, "Whip It," Bliss Cavendar (Ellen Page) has to find out if she can live up to her newly given nickname "Babe Ruthless."

The scene, which features Bliss' first time skating competitively in match, also shows just how ruthless her teammates — like Smashley Simpson (director and star Drew Barrymore) — can be. Smashley is one tough mama, and she's willing to beat up an opponent, even if it means she gets kicked out of the game. This chaos might make Babe's job a little more difficult.

Vital Stats: The 26-year-old singer-songwriter-actor grew up in both Nashville and Chicago where his mom and his dad allowed him the room to explore his artistic tendencies. In fact, his dad worked in music studios during Landon's childhood. When he found out he earned HDH status with us, he shared: "You know when I hear things like that that I've really known I made it. It's just like yeah sure I record music sure I was in a film all that pales in comparison to HDH. And you can quote me on that. It's such an honor. And I'll write my acceptance speech."

Drew Barrymore and her "Whip It" gang dumped the skates and ditched the elbow pads for the premiere of their coming-of-age roller-derby flick last night in L.A. (That isn't to say there weren't a few Hurl Scout-clad gals rolling around the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Nice touch, Miss Barrymore.)

Drew captured a bit of her alter ego's rocker chick vibe (Smashley Simpson would be proud!) in her form-fitting L'Wren Scott dress, accented nicely by red peep-toe pumps. It's not surprising the 34-year-old Hollywood vet's directorial debut brought out some big hitters, including her godfather and "E.T." director Steven Spielberg.

Apparently to be a Roller Derby Queen you need mascara (Drew Barrymore, insert shameless plus here!) a mouth guard, green tights and, oh yeah, a kick-butt attitude. And in this clip from "Whip It," out on Friday, it seems like Bliss (played by Ellen Page) has all of the above. Plus, she's got a pretty cool Roller Derby name: Babe Ruthless!

Plus, with her teammates (played by the awesome and tough Eve, Drew, Zoe Bell and Kristen Wigg) by her side coaching her to be one of the beat Roller Derby Queens in Austin, Texas, Bliss wants to show the world just how hardcore Babe Ruthless can be in a match. Landon Pigg may hook up with Ellen Page on the big screen in "Whip It" out on Friday, but the duo also ended up making music together in real life. When they weren't busy falling in love for the film, they were busy sitting around strumming guitar and playing piano in their off time. And Landon reveals what everyone may have imagined about what it was like to work on the set: "It was like a party with a script.

"I'm not really good at teaching music but for one thing me and Ellen sat down at the guitar once and she was like showing me a song she was writing. She knows how to play 'Blackbird' and stuff," he told Hollywood Crush about his time with "Juno" herself. "But we did a little duet on the piano one day before we were shooting this underwater love scene. Just as they were getting lights ready, and we're playing there's a grand piano in this abandoned yacht club where we're shooting. We're kind of just signing ['Islands in the Stream'] killing time. And that's a good memory of mine."

It's no wonder actress/ first-time director Drew Barrymore and her costar Ellen Page bonded during the filming of "Whip It" (we learned in the duo's cover feature in the most recent issue of Marie Claire that they're basically besties now) — they got to go to work everyday (along with the rest of the female-heavy cast) to film food fights and laugh till their stomachs hurt.

In the clip below from the Oct. 2 roller derby flick, things get pretty sticky when rival teammate Dinah Might (Juliette Lewis) saunters into a restaurant and provokes the Hurl Scouts by insulting their newest member, Bliss (Ellen). "I just want to congratulate you on your new poster child," Dinah says just before slopping some gooey french fries on Bliss' face. Then milk shakes get poured on hair and before you know it, all the derby girls are participating in an old-school "FOOOD FIIIGHTTT" (as Drew screams).
