Get ready to cut "Footloose," y'all. The best movie ever to feature a man who is not Kevin Bacon dancing on and around a Volkswagen Beetle is hitting stores on DVD and Blu-ray next month, and we've got some EXCLUSIVE goodies to whet your appetite in advance of the big release! First up, a never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the epic final scene, where (spoiler alert!) the teenage denizens of Forbidden Dancing-ville all get together for a high-kicking, butt-shaking prom to end all proms.

This sneak peek at the choreography and rehearsal process for the film's big finale just goes to show how hard everyone worked to keep "Footloose" true to its 1980s predecessor; Kenny Wormald even put his moves to the test in an exact duplication of some of our favorite Bacon-y footwork from the original (not to mention wearing the signature bow tie and raspberry-colored jacket!)

We bet you ladies out there are lining up to catch Kenny Wormald cut "Footloose" at the box office this weekend, and we don’t blame you! This Hump Day Hottie definitely has some moves! And you know what’s even better than seeing Kenny in "Footloose"? You can bring your boyfriend along too!

We caught up with Kenny and co-star Julianne Hough at the film's premiere, and they promised us that this movie is much more than a chick flick.

"It’s not a typical chick flick," Kenny gushed. "I’ve been doing screenings all over the country, and guys come up to me and they go, 'Look, my girlfriend dragged me here, but I loved it!’ Obviously, Julianne Hough is in the film and she’s wearing some tight jeans, so guys will dig that and the dancing is great. It’s a great story; it’s not just for chicks."

Kevin Bacon may have pioneered the now-iconic "angry dance" in the original "Footloose," but newcomer Kenny Wormald clearly had no qualms about making the routine all his own in the Craig Brewer-directed remake, out this weekend.

But, let's be honest. Does anyone actually "angry dance" in real life? Or, more specifically, have Kenny and co-star Julianne Hough ever let out a little aggression with a kick ball change? (And done it in an abandoned warehouse, to boot?)

"No, I usually, like, punch stuff and break things," Kenny told us at the film's junket. "I don’t usually dance my way through anger, although I should; it helped."

Watch out for flying loafers come October 14, because audiences around the nation will be kicking off their Sunday shoes for the highly anticipated remake of "Footloose," starring Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough. As we ponder the former "Dancing With the Stars" pro's future, we totally see her waltzing away with plenty of A-list roles that stretch her talented muscles in more than one direction. Which is why we've named Miss Hough to our New Class as Most Likely To Be A Triple Threat—an accolade Julianne happily accepted.

"Obviously, it never gets old. Every day, I am shocked and surprised and so excited that anybody would want to put me in any kind of list or category as up and comers," she said. "That's the dream. I've always wanted to do this and to be recognized for something that you always want, but it's so hard to even think you can achieve. It's pretty crazy; it's surreal. Thank you!"

Julianne Hough sure knows how to, um, cut loose.

In case you needed further proof that director Craig Brewer's "Footloose" is a thoroughly modern remake of the original, just feast your eyes on this EXCLUSIVE clip. Because Kevin Bacon never grinded like this.

The two-minute snippet highlights new-kid-on-the-block Ren (Kenny Wormald), who's being taught the ways of small-town Bomont. Which apparently include dance breaks at the local snack bar. And it's all going pretty well. He and Ariel (Julianne) have some serious chemistry on the dance floor (parking lot?) as they writhe and bump against one another. (Er, anyone else blushing?) But when Ren realizes Ariel's trying to catch another boy's eye with her smooth moves, he splits. And just in time. Because preacher dad (Dennis Quaid) is none too please. AWK. WARD.
