It's a great time to be an alum of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," seeing as many of the show's cast members are returning to the small screen. With news that the show's resident mean girl, Cordelia (a.k.a. Charisma Carpenter) has nabbed herself a cameo spot on USA Network's "Burn Notice," it got us wondering what the other actors on the show are up to these days. Short answer: quite a lot!

Sarah Michelle Gellar will be back on prime time this fall with her thrilling new CW drama, "Ringer." The show revolves around a woman running from the mob who is pretending to be her twin sister. The problem? Her sister's identity also comes with some baggage.

Fridays are supposed to be a joyous occasion, but we're guessing no one is happy that the weekend is on its way over at Dunder Mifflin. That's because it was the last day of work for Steve Carell, who played the world's best worst boss Michael Scott for six seasons on "The Office." His departure was mourned by several "Office"-mates, including Rainn Wilson, who plays Michael's devoted employee/pal Dwight Schrute, "Steve Carell's last day on 'The Office.' And the angels of comedy wept... #saddestdayever." Brian Baumgartner (a.k.a. Kevin Malone) couldn't find words better than Rainn's, so he simply wrote in response, "Yessiree."

Luckily, there's plenty of new movies out this weekend to cheer us up, including Johnny Depp's animated film "Rango" (pictured). Gil Birmingham, who provides one of the voices for the flick, told followers, "In these complicated days, maybe Rango will tickle your funny bone. Opens today! http://fb.me/LRuVZsO6." However, actor-director Jon Favreau didn't need convincing from the cast, but rather his children, to see the cartoon comedy, "I know Rango is going to be a hit because my kids have informed me in no uncertain terms that I am taking them to see it this weekend."

If the teaser trailer for "Soul Surfer" grabbed your interest a few weeks ago, just wait until you see the full-length trailer, which hit the web today! Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, we got a longer look at the amazing true tale of Bethany Hamilton brought to life on the big screen.

For those not familiar with the story, Bethany, a young surfer, endures a horrific shark attack accident and must have her left arm amputated. Still, after finding the will to move on, a defiant Bethany returns to the ocean and begins surfing again. Not choked up yet? Well, the trailer, with its inspirational subject matter and its fitting use of Katy Perry's "Firework," should definitely do the trick.

The trailer starts out like so many surfer flicks that came before it; sunny, exotic and with some awe-inspiring shots of killer waves. We meet Bethany, a bikini-clad teen (played by AnnaSophia Robb), on the cusp of becoming a pro surfer, who splits her time between hanging with friends and hanging ten.

"What's your sign?" What used to be a simple pick-up line is something of a loaded question after yesterday's news/debacle that the Zodiac signs have changed. Celebs pondered their new fates, including Steve Martin who joked, "According to the new Zodiac sign dates, I am now a Kitten" and Haylie Duff who noted, "I'm now an aquarius? I was quite comfortable in my Pisces water. Guess it's time to take a deep breath of my new air." Plenty of famous tweeters had opinions on the "new" sign Ophiuchus, including Dave Coulier who cracked, "Ophiuchus sounds like a cuss word that an alien would use in a funny sci-fi film. "The intruders have breached the air lock! Ophiuchus!"

The stars may not have aligned in 2011 for our Zodiac signs, but they sure did in Hollywood today. Miranda Cosgrove teamed up with Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo (both pictured), as she alerted fans, "Put the finishing touches on a new song today with @riverscuomo! What a great guy :)." But theirs wasn't the only awesome collaboration today, as Katy Perry stopped by "How I Met Your Mother" for her upcoming appearance. A starstruck Alyson Hannigan posted from her page, "Katy Perry is on set!!!"

The people have spoken and they love Katy Perry! Turns out, she loves them back just as much, as the double People's Choice Awards winner (Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Online Sensation) posted, "OH MY WE WON TWO PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS! Thank you SO much! I really appreciate all ur continuous love & support! Remember u have the POWER!" But the "Firework" singer (pictured) had just as much love for fellow winner Selena Gomez, as she told her, "Dear @selenagomez I still have glitter coming out of places I didn't know glitter could be. #PCAperformance #yearwithglitter #lovedit." Selena had to tweet her excitement too, "Are you kidding me?!!!!!!? Ahhhhh I can't believe we won breakout artist of the year!!! I feel so blessed."

But the lady getting the most kudos for the evening wasn't even a 2011 PCA winner, rather its host Queen Latifah. Presenter Emma Roberts wrote from her page, "People's Choice is so much fun! Queen Latifah is an epic host!" while Favorite TV Comedy Actor (for "How I Met Your Mother," natch) Neil Patrick Harris joked, "Wow, Queen Latifah gets an A+! Best host ever! And she's totally not pinning me to the wall backstage, choking me... as I... write this..!

During last night's TV Guide Hot List party, "Glee" stars Jenna Ushkowitz and Harry Shum Jr. all but confirmed to E! Online that Jane Lynch's Sue Sylvester would be getting married to a woman...herself!! In October, Entertainment Weekly reported that "Sue is going to make history by becoming the first person on earth to marry — or at least attempt to marry — ****el*!"

When asked who Sue's significant other would be, Jenna pretty much filled in the blanks by telling E!, "You know her." Jenna's co-star (and on-screen beau) Harry replied the same way, "You know her." While we're dying to know how Sue is planning on pulling this one off, we had some ideas of who else would make a suitable mate (outside of McKinley High School) for everyone's favorite, and most feared, cheerleading coach.

Johnny DeppCould you love Johnny Depp any more after hearing this story? We were even more smitten than we already were with the star when we discovered he surprised a 9-year-old fan who'd written him a letter. Dressed in full Captain Jack Sparrow garb from "Pirates of the Caribbean," the Oscar nominee showed up at the young girl's school in London. The news made quite a splash on Twitter (it's become a top trending topic) and some celebs even had to tip their (pirate) hat. As "Parenthood" star Erika Christensen put it the young fan is now, "The most psyched 9 yr old!"

Speaking of dreams come true, Nicole Scherzinger fulfilled one of ours when she stopped by the set of "How I Met Your Mother"! Nicole is reportedly playing a character named Jessica Glitter (and, oh yes, that most certainly has something to do with Robin Sparkles!) The former "Dancing With the Stars" champ tweeted, "Just had table reading for HIMYM this morning. The cast is hill-friggin-larious! I can't wait to shoot next wk! HOLLA!"

We're just two short days away from the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards, and we can't wait much longer to see which of our favorites will walk away winners. This year there are so many contenders to love in both the comedic and dramatic categories, we had to give kudos to the actors and shows that kept us glued to our sets. Here are some of our faves, let us know if you agree!

The Outstanding Comedy Series category features three shows that always have a spot on Hollywood Crush's DVR: "The Office," "Modern Family" and, of course, "Glee"! We swooned over the arrival of Jim and Pam's baby on "The Office," and "Modern Family" had us holding our sides from laughing so hard (we're still using Phil's version of "WTF": "Why the face?"), but we have an extra special place in our hearts for "Glee." It's a bittersweet love song (quite literally) dedicated to all the outcasts in the world that's become nothing short of a pop-culture phenomenon.

Hardcore fans of "How I Met Your Mother" have been fairly adamant that upcoming guest star Carrie Underwood will not turn out to be the mystery mom and a new clip featuring the country crooner may just prove their theory right.

In the short clip provided by Us Weekly, Carrie (who said she had a blast on the set of the sitcom), playing pharmaceutical rep Tiffany, is hanging out with lovelorn Ted (Josh Radnor), who, for reasons unknown has a teacup piglet (between this and the goat, we're thinking Ted is in for some major apartment violations).
