It’s taken a little over a year for Robert Pattinson to be considered a staple heartthrob worldwide. With the crazy success of the “Twilight” book series came the crazy success of the first film, catapulting its stars into instant, albeit unbidden, fame. Though he’s on the road now promoting “New Moon” (out this week!), we figured we would take some time to look at the evolution of Robert Pattinson.

Click the picture below to follow the evolution of Rob in pictures!

Born on May 13, 1986 in London, England, the hunk started out his career rather appropriately by following in his mother’s modeling footsteps at age 12. Ironically, he would later come out and explain that the reason this stint in the fashion world lasted only four years was because he was tall and feminine and it was at a time where “the androgynous look was cool.” Once he started looking more like masculine man we have grown to know and love, the job pool dried up.

Last week we brought you an exclusive look at "New Moon" star Robert Pattinson's audition for his pre-"Twilight" dramedy "How To Be". Today, we bring you the fruits of his labor—an exclusive sneak peek at the movie due out on DVD November 17.

In the film Rob plays a down-on-his-luck musician named Art, who after being dumped by his girlfriend, moves back in with his parents and hires a live-in self-help guru to cure his social awkwardness. The process is quite a vulnerable one as you'd expect, evidenced perfectly by this clip in which Art's oddball friend Nikki (Mike Pearce) invites a couple of girls over to help his glum mate forget about his ex. Nikki's one piece of advice to Art? "Don't be yourself." We're not sure who Art attempted to be in this scene, but it's certainly not our favorite dazzling vamp. Edward would never drop such a sad, pathetic (and sort of gross) pick-up line. Click play on the clip below to see Rob clear the room with his misguided attempt at romance.

What do you think about the clip? Are you planning on buying or renting "How To Be" when it comes out next week?

We've been bringing you footage — eight minutes in total! — all week of Robert Pattinson tackling something other than an animal in the Forks forest: an audition for his quirky 2008 comedy "How To Be" (out on DVD on November 17 ... yes, the same week "New Moon" premieres). Today, we gift you the third and final clip in our exclusive show (don't miss part 1 and part 2 either!)

In the movie, Rob plays Art, a downtrodden musician, who winds up living with his parents again after breaking up with his girlfriend. To survive, he hires a live-in self-help guru (who wouldn't?). The audition scenes we were lucky to get our hands on mostly involve Art trying to convince his soon-to-be-ex, Jessica, not to dump him. Just like yesterdays video, we see the same discussion, only this time, Rob emotes a lot more (aww), he smirks when he says "f--king bitch" and he almost cries when he tells Jessica she's not ready for commitment. Believe us, it's worth it for you to press play above on this treasure!

Stayed tuned to Hollywood Crush next week when we bring you an exclusive clip from the movie!

The clip has been removed at the request of involved parties.

It's hard to imagine "New Moon" heartthrob Robert Pattinson having to convince any girl to date him, but that's just the pickle he finds himself in, in the 2008 comedy "How To Be" (out on DVD November 17). The movie centers around down-on-his-luck Art (played by Rob), who after being dumped by his girlfriend, moves back in with his sullen parents and hires a live-in self-help guru to put his life back in order.

Yesterday, we debuted part one of our three-part exclusive footage from his audition, which finds Art pleading with girlfriend Jessica not to dump him. Today, in part two, we see a redo of that exchange (sans Rob's giggles), plus Art's bold-faced lie to avoid a break-up.

As Jessica attempts to console Art by reminding him that he has friends and family he can turn to, Art informs Jessica that his parents aren't his real parents.

On Friday we told you about Access Hollywood's teaser look at 20-year-old Robert Pattinson's audition tape for the 2008 quirky comedy "How To Be," but today we have for you all eight minutes (see the first minute after the jump) of the full audition, which is included on the film's DVD (out November 17).

In the first clip of three from our exclusive, Rob has a back and forth unhappy banter with a woman whose character is named Jessica in what seems like a break up scene. "How To Be" is about how Rob's character Art moves back in with his parents and hires a full-time self-help guru after said break up.

In the British accent we miss so much in "Twilight," Rob addresses Jessica and asks, "What if I told you something about my childhood? Maybe you'll understand. Maybe you'll reconsider."

EDITORS NOTE: Halloween has come and gone, but we wanted to wish a big CONGRATULATIONS to the winner of our Rob O'Lantern Pumpkin Carving Contest, Christie (a.k.a. finalist #1). As we promised, the winner would get the chance to write a blog about their love of Rob. Below, read on to find out just what kind of fan Christie — who noted that her carving comes with the tagline,"'New Moon': When forever is no longer an option, how do you survive?" — is of the heartthrob and the franchise that made him a star.

My name is Christie, I'm from Maryland, and I have an addiction. It started out small and harmless, as addictions often do, but it grew and grew and grew. First it was just some books I read. Then it was a movie I watched ... several times. Then it was the scrapbook I created. Next, a birthday cake. Then I joined the staff of Novel Novice Twilight, reporting news and writing up special features about the "Twilight" universe and fandom. Now, it's pumpkin carvings.

When a 20-year-old Robert Pattinson auditioned for the role of Art, a struggling singer/songwriter, in the indie comedy "How to Be," he certainly had personal experience to bring to the character. Though the British actor had appeared in the "Harry Potter" franchise, he had not yet broken through to superstardom, as he would after being selected to become Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" franchise.

Thus the audition footage that accompanies the upcoming "How to Be" DVD — and which Access Hollywood posted a short clip of on Thursday — is a fascinating insight into the way RPattz's life used to be, as well as the process by which he creates a character.
