All week we've been teasing you with clips of this year's MTV Movie Awards nominees in action. You've seen kisses, you've seen newbies come into their own and you've seen some of your favorite females at their very best. Today we're taking it a step further. Yep, no more favorite parts or people in movies. Nope, today we've got our hands on clips for the nominees for the big one: Best Movie.

And the nominees have it all: comedy, action, drama—you name it. Actually, there's such a great mix of movies this year that the entire category could be pretty polarizing. Which one do you think deserves the top honor?

"Black Swan"
This one seems to be getting nods in pretty much every major category. There's the kiss between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. There's Natalie's stellar performance. Put that all together and you might just have the makings of a Best Movie winner.

2010 was a pretty great year for movies. Leonardo DiCaprio invaded our dreams (well, more than usual), the "Harry Potter" cast geared up to say goodbye and Taylor Lautner took off his shirt (again!). So now it's time to honor all the films—and the stars—that made going to the movies so great!

The nominations for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards have been announced, and there's more than a few favorites on the list. Most notably are the eight (!) nods for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which earned more nominations than any of the other movies. That's, of course, thanks to its cast, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and, yep, Taylor, who all earned nominations for their performances. The third installment of the series also found itself in categories like Best Movie and will prove to be a double threat in the Best Kiss race, as KStew is nominated for locking lips with Robert and Taylor. Isn't she pretty much already a winner?!

James Franco was one busy guy at last night's Oscars. In addition to being co-host and a Best Actor nominee at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards, he still managed to keep up on his tweeting! James (pictured) tweeted throughout the Oscar ceremony, including sharing backstage pictures and videos of himself and his partner in crime, Anne Hathaway (in one posted clip, she gives him a hand massage! http://say.ly/VWaa8b.) We especially liked the photo the "127 Hours" star took of himself on the stage of the Kodak Theatre "From the stage #OSCARSREALTIME http://say.ly/kjpa7g" as well as video of him waiting in the wings as Sandra Bullock introduced him during the Best Actor category, "http://say.ly/VWaa8b."

But James wasn't the only one who didn't get to take home the gold. A gracious and funny Mark Ruffalo ("The Kids Are All Right") used his Twitter to tell followers he was, "Happy to be a beautiful loser!" and even tweeted the Best Supporting Actor acceptance speech he didn't get the chance to use. While Leonardo DiCaprio didn't get to attend this year's Oscars as a nominee, his film "Inception" did get some love from the Academy, which prompted the actor to write from his page, "Congrats to the #Inception team for the 4 wins! Well done. #oscars"

We'll admit there were some disappointing moments during last night's 83rd Annual Academy Awards (we would have really loved to see "True Grit" star Hailee Steinfeld take home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar!), but there were lots of reasons we're glad we tuned in for Hollywood's biggest night too.

From "Black Swan" actress Natalie Portman's oh-so-sweet acceptance speech to "Twilight" and "Harry Potter" getting auto-tuned, here's a rundown of our favorite moments from the 2011 Oscars:

The nominations for the 2011 Oscars weren't just the talk of Tinseltown today, but the Twitterverse as well! Hollywood hopped on their pages to post about which movies, actors, actresses, writers and directors they were happy to see get some love from the Academy. Naturally, there was just as much chatter about who should have been nominated, especially for "Inception" director Christopher Nolan who was inexplicably snubbed for his mind-bender. An outraged Felicia Day pondered, "Chris Nolan didn't get a director nomination?!! ARE YOU KIDDING?!" while Alyssa Milano mused about the director of the Best Picture nominee (a scene with stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, pictured) "Regarding Chris Nolan - I'm not sure how you can acknowledge the screenplay and film and not the director." However, Jaime King was a little less gentle with her wording, "Where the f*ck is Christopher Nolan's Oscar nom?!"

While some celebs couldn't wake from the "Inception" nightmare, others were simply elated for Hailee Steinfeld's dream come true. The breakout star will compete in the Best Supporting Actress category for her stellar performance in "True Grit," much to the delight of fellow famous youngster Justin Bieber. After hearing the awesome news, the singer wrote, "met at the Globes and she is super talented. CONGRATS to Hailee Steinfeld for being 14 and getting nominated for an OSCAR for TRUE GRIT!"

2011 got off to something of a sad start in Hollywood with the news that actor Pete Postlethwaite died at the age of 64 after a long battle with cancer. You may not recognize his name immediately, but you'll definitely remember his face and his performances in films like "Romeo + Juliet," (in which he played Romeo's confidante Father Laurence) and most recently, "The Town" and "Inception." Tons of celebs took to their Twitter to pay their respects to the beloved character actor, including Zachary Quinto who posted, "pete postlethwaite. rest in peace. saddened by the passing of a genius" and Mindy Kaling who wrote, "Pete Postlethwaite was the best."

Elsewhere, "Greek" star Gregory Michael found himself doing what so many others had done recently, which was admire Pete's diverse body of work, as he told followers, "I watched the movie Aeon Flux last night and woke to find out one of it's stars had passed, Pete Postlethwaite. Such an amazing actor. RIP." But perhaps "Ugly Betty" actor Michael Urie put it best when he tweeted, "Great actor great loss, #PetePostlethwaite."

Rambo? Ancient history. Jason Bourne? Soooo 2008. Forget the dudely heroes of yesteryear; these days, the name of the game is ass-kicking women. This year's movie lineup was rife with smart, sexy, ultra-confident ladies who hang tough, play hard, and fight dirty...and, of course, gleefully murder the unfortunate punks who get in their way. And as we look back on 12 months of fine female leads, the 2010 year-end roundups wouldn't be complete without a countdown list of the Ass-Kickingest Females of the Year. From legitimate superheroes to intellectual heavyweights to vengeful victims, there's no question that these performances carried a serious dose of girl power.

Movie and television fanatics woke up bright and early (yes, that involves all of us here at Hollywood Crush!) this morning to hear who, and what, earned nominations for the 2011 Golden Globes. Luckily, the ceremony (which is often a barometer for who will step up to the podium for the Academy Awards) will be chock-full of HC favorites this year!

We're giving a big old "like" to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing "The Social Network" as one of the best movies of the year (it's up for Best Motion Picture-Drama) and its deserving stars Jesse Eisenberg (Best Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama) and hot newcomer Andrew Garfield (Best Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.) Okay, it may have been wishful thinking to hope their co-stars Justin Timberlake and Armie Hammer (who should have doubled his chances playing the Winklevoss twins) would score noms too, but awards season has only just begun!
