It'll be another few days before you can get your hands on a copy of the Bella Swan birth video (also known as the DVD of "Breaking Dawn"), but here's some fun "Twilight" family news: Jackson Rathbone, famous on-screen vampire and uncle to Renesmee, is expecting his first off-screen child with girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi.
Us Weekly confirms that Sheila, a burlesque dancer, is five months along with the pair's progeny. (Although considering the fairly terrifying progression of Bella's "Breaking Dawn" pregnancy, let's hope the Cullen family connection begins and ends with Jackson's movie role. Yikes.)

It's been a long and winding road bringing the indie film "Girlfriend" to a national audience, but all that work has finally paid off. The flick, which stars Jackson Rathbone, Shannon Woodward and Evan Sneider, was awarded the 2011 Gotham Independent Film Audience Award at last night's Gotham Awards in New York City. The fan-voted award was the just the latest wave of support from "Girlfriend"'s ardent admirers.
The film's director, Justin Lerner, caught up with Hollywood Crush today to talk about the big win, which he called a "humbling moment." Appropriately, he thanked the fans of "Girlfriend" who voted to earn the movie its recognition.

From all the hubbub and scuttlebutt floating around the blogosphere, it sounds as though there will be plenty of titillating tidbits to savor in the upcoming "Breaking Dawn - Part 1"—in addition to that one scene no one can stop talking about. For instance, we hear there are Volturi to be found buried within the credits and a moment in which Ashley Greene flips for Jackson Rathbone.
Yep, you read that right. Apparently, Alice and Jasper cut quite the rug at Bella and Edward's wedding reception—a trick that required more than a little mettle from Ashley.
"We had to get a new Ashley Greene," Jackson joked when MTV News' Josh Horowitz asked about the acrobatic feat. "Luckily we had the parts to repair her."

Hotlanta, indeed.
"Twilight" stars Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed and Charlie Bewley all convened at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta last night to jump start "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" concert tour alongside soundtrack artist Christina Perri.
In addition to a performance of "A Thousand Years" by Christina, the cast fielded a slew of fan questions and signed autographs and took pictures outside of the venue.

Another day, another stop for the "Breaking Dawn" cast as they count down to November 14 and the big world premiere! This time, the cameras caught up with Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed in Italy, where the film had a special screening at the 6th International Rome Film Festival.
Nikki looked ethereal in a wispy white dress with a plunging halter neckline—very apt for the recently wed actress—and Jackson sported a natty look that even Southern gentleman Jasper Hale would approve of, wearing a three-piece suit complete with a classic watch-chain and a pair of fierce-looking boots. The pair's red-carpet appearance was hailed by a throng of thrilled "Twilight" fans, who packed the sidelines near the theater entrance in the hopes of glimpsing their favorite vampires.

You already knew that Jackson Rathbone, "The Twilight Saga"'s sexy southern vampire, is also an accomplished musician and member of a band called 100 Monkeys (you have been following his Hollywood Crush EXCLUSIVE web diary, right?). But what you may not have know is that 100 Monkeys is about to release a super-mega-sexy music video for their song "Modern Times, Part 2," and not only is the music a boss mix of country twang, big vocals, and brass accents...
...but it's got puppets in it. PUPPETS! As you can plainly see in our EXCLUSIVE peep at the video's teaser! Which, in addition to little men on strings, appears to involve some major drama of the Old West variety. There's a drink-slinging saloon bartender, a high noon showdown and...is that puppet beating up a piano with his gun? (Check out the video after the jump!)

"The Twilight Saga" has not only busted box-office records, but it's also produced a trio of soundtracks that have predictably lived at the top of the charts. So while we're eagerly anticipating the series' closing cinematic chapters, we're also itching for a new, neatly wrapped package of ear candy as well.
Some good news for you fellow soundtrackphiles: When we caught up with "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" director Bill Condon at San Diego Comic-Con, he revealed that one of the film's stars will likely grace the soundtrack! Though, unsurprisingly, he wouldn't divulge who.
Now, in my mind, there are two main contenders for this honor: Robert Pattinson and Jackson Rathbone. Considering what Bill had to say about his vision for the finale ("I always thought of 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' as a real companion piece to Catherine Hardwicke's movie... I think you'll find that there are stylistic and other nods to that film."), I'm leaning towards Rob. As you'll recall, the dreamboat had two moody numbers featured on the "Twilight" soundtrack, so if we're coming full circle...
Though co-star Jackson certainly shouldn't be counted out just yet. Jasper Hale's alter ego is part of the very real, very playful band 100 Monkeys, and he told us recently of the band's likelihood of appearing on the soundtrack, "it could happen."
But let's not forget dark horse Kristen Stewart. The starlet already has one soundtrack to her name—2010's "The Runaways," in which she plays (and sings as) rock goddess Joan Jett. Perhaps Bella has one angsty number inside of her? (Or maybe not...)
Of course, we can't completely eliminate the idea of an out-of-left-field pick like Ashley Greene or Kellan Lutz, but that seems pretty unlikely, don't you think?
So it's your turn, Crushers. Who do you think should appear on the "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack? Vote in our poll after the jump!

"Breaking Dawn" star Jackson Rathbone has been working nonstop since wrapping the vampire saga earlier this year. The actor/musician is currently on the road with his band 100 Monkeys, hitting towns all across the U.S. before taking their act oversees later this year.
The band stopped by MTV News headquarter today (before their NYC show Saturday night!) for a fun chat, giving us the scoop on what fans can expect from their tour.
"It’s a raucous theatrical live set constantly switching instruments and singers and jumping and running around on stage," band member Ben Graupner said. "Very interactive with the audience, we pull ideas from the crowd and make up a song on the spot; people will come out of nowhere and start rapping. You really don’t know what to expect except for a smile and a good time."

It all ends in 10 days. Harry, Hermione and Ron will grace the silver screen for the last time beginning July 15, and the moment couldn't be more bittersweet. On the one hand, we've been waiting to see the saga's final chapter for years. On the other, it means saying goodbye to 64-plus characters we've learned to love (or loath) over the years.
As we contemplate the series' end, we couldn't help but wonder how some of our favorite celebrities would have fit into the "Harry Potter" universe. (Can you imagine "Vampire Diaries"' Kat Graham going toe-to-toe with Emma Watson?) Hence, our week-long feature, Celebrity Sorting Hat! Each day, we'll take the cast of a beloved television series or movie and let you decide which Hogwarts house they'd draw.

Today (unsurprisingly) we begin with "Twilight." Leading man Robert Pattinson may have been a proud Hufflepuff as Cedric Diggory, but would he fit in as Robert Pattinson? Now's your chance to decide. Cast your vote for the five "Twilight" stars below (repeat: the star, not their "Twilight" character), and we'll reveal the results next week! (For a refresher, we've included the descriptions of each house below the polls.)
And don't forget to visit MTV Movies Blog to cast your vote in their Harry Potter World Cup!

It's a good thing that whole end-of-the-world thing never happened on May 21, because then we wouldn't be able to bring you the latest installment of Jackson Rathbone's EXCLUSIVE web diary, shot on the supposed doomsday. And let me tell you, you'd be missing a lot.
Like, cameos a plenty. In today's video, we catch up with Jackson and his band 100 Monkeys at their show in L.A.'s El Rey Theatre. And look! There's former "American Idol" contestant Paul McDonald rocking on stage with fiancee (and Jackson's "Twilight" co-star) Nikki Reed bopping along in the audience! And there are "AI" finalists Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina! And how nice is Jackson offering to let them live with him? Aw, shucks. We love it.
