The iPad got a lot of love today on Twitter—and for a range of reasons. Stars praised everything from the gadget's Tweeting capabilities to its impact on children with Autism (who knew one of our favorite tech toys could have such an impact?). "Glee" star Max Adler (pictured) raved about his new iPad 2, while Holly Peete urged followers to retweet her blast about the device's "gift of voice," saying, "check out the impact iPads are having on verbally challenged children w/ #autism INCREDIBLE: http://bit.ly/hcep6G #givethegiftofvoice pls RT."
Several stars also spoke out about their Boston love, tweeting support for the Red Sox. Eliza Dushku sent several updates about her favorite team, while other fans showed snarkier support, like "SNL"'s Seth Meyers, who tweeted, "Sox Lead! Sox Lead! #LoweredExpectations"

"iCarly" has had some pretty famous faces drop by as of late, first with Jane Lynch and now, Jack Black (pictured)! Star Miranda Cosgrove, who starred with Jack in "School of Rock," tweeted, "filming with Jack Black! I can't wait! The scene is pretty crazy! U guys r gonna be surprised :)" While her co-star, Jennette McCurdy, had a hard time not being starstruck, telling followers, "Jack Black just high-fived me and I said 'I can barely breath right now. 'Hello Embarrassing, I see we're hangin out early this mornin."
As Jack Black is busy shaking things up on "iCarly" things are just as we left them over at "Gossip Girl", despite any rumors you may have heard. The show's writer/executive producer Josh Schwartz cleared up, well, gossip, that Blake Lively wanted to bow out in a very dramatic fashion. Josh posted, "Have to respond: no truth to rumors that BL requested to have Serena killed. All is well. GG S4 back on 9/13." XOXO, Josh!

It's no secret that Jane Lynch makes any television show significantly better. Can you even begin to imagine "Glee" without the terrorizing and hilarious Sue Sylvester? Now, the actress, who most recently cracked us up on the finale of the now dearly departed "Party Down" (sigh!), will put her magic touch on "iCarly" as none other than Sam's (played by Jennette McCurdy) mystery mom!
Entertainment Weekly reported yesterday that Jane will appear in an episode that is set to air during the show's upcoming third season.

Wednesday is the new Monday! Well, that seems to be the case in Hollywood anyway. While most of us are halfway through our work weeks, it seems like some stars are just getting started today. Meaghan Martin tweeted about getting back to the grind ("First day back to work on 10 Things I Hate About You. I'm getting excited!!") and Jennette McCurdy got her Wednesday off to an early start, posting, "Calltime for the movie was 5 o'clock this morning! Been on set for awhile. Having fun." Elsewhere, Nick Jonas (pictured) prepped to kick things off with his side project Nick Jonas and the Administration (don't fret, JoBros fans, it's not the end of your favorite brotherly love band), who will be making their debut at tonight's "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!" Nick wrote via Twitter today, "This Is Going To Be Awesome!" and channeled his inner Black Eyed Peas by adding, "Got a feeling...That tonights gonna be a, good good night."
Maybe Nick's enthusiasm will rub off on "New Moon" and "Up in the Air" actress Anna Kendrick who seemed more anxious than excited, telling fans, "I'm doing the Today Show tomorrow morning so if you're up at 8am you can watch me trying not to be nervous : )" Sadly, there will be no smiles today from Eliza Dushku tweeting she is, "I'm mourning the death of Dollhouse, today" We've been mourning since we heard the news, Eliza!

As the nation honors those who have served for our country, celebs took to their Twitter pages to pay their respects on this Veteran's Day. Matchbox Twenty crooner Rob Thomas posted, "to all of the men and women of our military who have sacrificed and to their families who waited for them to come home safe, thank you," while "ER" actor and current Broadway star John Stamos (pictured) shared a similar sentiment, writing on his page, "my love, respect and thanks to all those who serve or have served and thank you to your familes for all of your sacrifices." For some, today's holiday has a much deeper meaning, like for that of "New Moon" star Gil Birmingham who shared, "As the son of someone who served in the military, I know the work and sacrifices our soldiers and their families make for this country." On behalf of all of us at Hollywood Crush, we too would like to thank all those who have served our country. Happy Veterans Day to you all.
We're sure there will be mention of the holiday at tonight's Country Music Awards, which the stars have been gearing up for all day. Jennette McCurdy was anxious for the ceremony, tweeting, "I've got butterflies in my stomach - can't wait for CMAs tonight!," while cool-as-a-cucumber Taylor Swift (hey, after Kanye and "SNL" the girl has nothing left to sweat!) got ready in an unorthodox fashion, "Getting all pumped up for the CMA's, blasting timbaland 'morning after dark' in the dressing room. PARTY!!"

Sometimes celebrities reveal some rather odd things on Twitter. Whether it's their crazy pregnancy cravings like reality star Kendra Wilkinson, who updated us today with: "people keep asking about my cravings..well, right now i crave ribs and peanut butter..not together tho!!! hahaha," or their desire for unconventional homes, like Blink182's Mark Hoppus, who tweeted, "compared to the tour bus, my bed at home sucks. i fall asleep and wake up in the same city?!?! what fun is that? my house needs wheels." But, today's oddest admission came from "iCarly" star Jennette McCurdy who revealed, "can I just say that Keith Urban smells wonderful, more wonderful than any human being has a right to? I can't fall asleep because of it..."
Maybe there was something stranger going on around Twitter today now that we think about it. It seems celebs have Christmas fever ... in the middle of October. "Battlefield" songstress Jordin Sparks posted, "As soon as the weather changed, I started listening to Christmas music"
Check out what else had Twitter buzzing today, from the "New Moon" run time (is any run time long enough, really?) to Leighton Meester's (pictured) very good day. And as always, keep checking back with us @hollywoodcrush for the rest of your Hollywood news!
