Now that you've had a while to digest the fact that Kim Kardashian is engaged, it's time to get to the good stuff. No, we're not talking about the proposal, or the romance with fiance Kris Humphries—we're talking about the purported TWO MILLION DOLLAR diamond that's now sitting on her finger. Uh yeah.

According to People (where you can see her rock in all its multi-million dollar glory), Kris worked with jewelery maven Lorraine Schwartz to design the custom 20.5 carat bauble. While the couple didn't disclose the dollar value, TMZ didn't hesitate to report that it supposedly cost about half as much as her Beverly Hills mansion. Chump change, right?

In case you hadn't already heard the good news, Kim Kardashian is officially off the market! Kim's boyfriend of six months and New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries popped the question last week, and the duo announced their engagement today on the cover of People magazine.

"I couldn’t be happier!" Kim wrote on her blog this morning. "I finally found my missing puzzle piece, I’m complete!"

Now, don't get us wrong, we couldn't be happier for Kim, but we're also a little worried. After all, Kim's engagement means we're going to have to fit yet another celebrity wedding into our schedules. Granted, we're not actually invited to any of the upcoming celeb nuptials (not yet at least!), but obsessing about these events requires a lot of time! If you've got the same concern, then don't despair. It seems that the wedding plans for Jessica Simpson and her fiancé, former football player Eric Johnson, are moving along nicely. Sure, right now the world is obsessed with that other wedding (we're looking at you, Wills and Kate), but once that wraps up we can all focus on other nuptials. That is, once Jessica gets her plans in order.

"We're along! How far along? We're along," she told MTV News at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style issue party Tuesday night in L.A.

Just five days before Valentine's Day, singer-actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and rocker Pete Wentz have announced that after nearly three years of marriage, they're getting divorced.

According to People, the couple, who have a 2-year-old son together, Bronx Mowgli, released a statement through a spokesperson saying, "After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our No. 1 priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives."

It seems the pair cited "irreconcilable differences" for their split and that Ash (who is seeking physical custody of their child) plans to drop the Wentz and go back to being Ashlee Simpson.

It's a double dose of awards shows this weekend with the Critics' Choice Movie Awards on Friday and the Golden Globes on Sunday. While most of us simply have to set our DVRs, the stars have a few more preparations to do. La La Vazquez tweeted, "Up early..rehearsal day for Critics Choice Awards.." while Eva Longoria (pictured) ran down the clock as she told followers, "Trying on dresses for Golden Globes! I don't know what color to wear?! Be sure you guys watch on Sunday!"

Of course, in the midst of all this film and television hoopla, there's still plenty going on in the music world. blink-182 lead singer Mark Hoppus alerted eager fans in the wee hours, "854am. Recording guitars for this here blink-182 album. Rock starts early in our world." It seemed as though one famous tweeter in particular wanted to get in on the session..."Jersey Shore" star Snooki!?! The pint-sized reality star-author posted, "I needa hangout with Blink 182 for a day. They look fun and they're amazing."

Oh sure, it's been fun to look back on 2010's biggest personalities and best-dressed celebs...but we know that today's year-end superlative is the one you've all been waiting for. Because between hookups and breakups, style and substance, is there anything better than a nice, filthy feud?

Talk about the December blues! Way too many of Hollywood's hottest couples seem to be celebrating the holidays by breaking up, divorcing, and otherwise calling it quits on their high-profile romances. Good thing there's one couple still walking in a winter wonderland: Tony Romo and news-anchor girlfriend Candice Crawford (sister to "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford) have announced their engagement.

Tony, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback who's best-known 'round these parts as Jessica Simpson's ex, popped the question on Candice's 24th birthday as the pair celebrated with her family. Of course, we all know how Tony loves to peg major relationship milestones to birthdays; he famously gave poor Jessica the boot as a "gift" for her 29th. (Aww, Tony! You shouldn't have!... No, really, you shouldn't have. That was not cool.)

If you were worried that the news of ex-husband Nick Lachey's recent engagement would send Jessica Simpson right off the deep end, you'll be glad to hear that the Texan bombshell won't have so much as a moment to dwell on it...

Jessica had reacted graciously to the news of her former flame getting hitched, but she's not one to be outdone, either—as evidenced by yesterday's announcement that she's engaged to NFL player Eric Johnson, just five months after the two began dating last May. And though she wouldn't go so far as to call Eric "the one" in a recent interview, her description of their relationship as "just normal" might have been the first hint of a lifelong commitment to come; after the harsh spotlight of "Newlyweds," high-profile heartbreak at the hands of Tony Romo and a relationship with the douchey John Mayer (who publicly described Jessica as "sexual napalm"—classy!), "normal" sounds kind of nice.
