Today, moviegoers in New York and Los Angeles will finally get to see Kristen Stewart's latest, "Welcome to the Rileys." K-Stew is already receiving raves for the risky project, in which she plays a runaway stripper named Mallory. The movie, which also stars James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo, is quite the departure from the "Twilight Saga," which made Kristen a household name. It seems she can hold her own with two acting heavyweights, but it isn't the first time Kristen has been impressive in other movies. While we here (and all of you guys) will always love the 20-year-old actress best for playing Bella Swan, we were curious as to which non-"Twilight" Kristen Stewart role you liked best.
From her previous forays into indies (as terminally ill teen Georgia in "The Cake Eaters") to nostalgic comedy (playing the cool but conflicted love interest Em in "Adventureland") to rocker biopics (as the iconic rocker Joan Jett in "The Runaways") to romantic dramas (as the neighbor of Adam Brody in "In The Land of Women"...hey, it's a tough job...) and sweeping epics (a hippie who falls for fellow drifter Chris McCandless in the big-screen adaptation of "Into The Wild"), there's plenty to love on Kristen's resume so far. Vote in our poll and let us know which of K-Stew's other roles you like best!

Attention: Kristen Stewart would like if you would please just stop asking her if she's dating Robert Pattinson. "People always ask me if I’m dating Robert. It’s beyond annoying," she told Elle UK exclusively for the July cover story. "What I say is, that, why would I want anything that’s private to become entertainment for other people? People say that if I just tell them everything I’ll be left alone, but God, you think if I tell people they’ll leave me alone? They pick up every little scrap, and that’s much worse."
We're guilty of being just as curious as everyone else, but it's understandable that Kristen's relationship status has become a tiresome topic of conversation over the past couple of years. The actress has been a tabloid staple ever since "Twilight"'s 2008 release.

Of all the Best Kiss nominees at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards (there's a vampire, some blue people, a high school track star and more), we're sure you have plenty of reasons to argue why your favorite one should take home the golden popcorn on Sunday, June 6th.
But, there's one in particular that's pretty racy (press play above to see what we mean!): the kiss between Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in the rock biopic, "The Runaways." And if you've been voting for that girl-on-girl smooch — because you loved the movie, adore the actors in it, etc. etc. — then we're pretty sure you are going to be excited for the exclusive announcement we have after the jump!

Finally we're at the day of the "The Runaways" theatrical release (though it still in only limited theaters)! Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning recently sat down and told MTV News how they felt about the various looks they had to portray in the biopic about Joan Jett and Cherie Curie.
Dakota said she had a lot of fun portraying Cherie's three distinct looks, but Cherie's silver look (and major silver eye shadow!) was her favorite. "The silver one was very important, because that's like the 'Cherry Bomb' look. So it was cool to be able to experiment with that and actually be able to do makeup that you can look at in a photograph and actually look like that when you're done," she said.

It's been more than two months since "The Runaways" first debuted at Sundance, and now finally the film will be hitting (select) theaters. Though some fans will have to wait until early April to see Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in their turn as Joan Jett and Cherie Curie respectively, MTV News brought the young actresses back to the moment when they first had to play the musicians.
Both said they were extremely nervous when walking onto the set for the first time as their real life alter egos were there to greet them. Dakota said having to play someone who was going to be in the room at the same time she was performing them was one of her biggest fears going into the movie, but that wasn't the only one.

If you're going through "The Runaways" withdrawal, don't worry, we've got your fix right here (yep we're kind of awesome)! Last week we brought you all the red carpet looks from the L.A. premiere of the new bio-pic starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning and this week it's on to The Big Apple. The stars hit the red carpet, decked out in designers duds (spoiler: we didn't love all the looks). Anyway, check out the post below for our fashion recap and let us know what you think!
Kristen, you've officially won us over. We haven't always been easy on your sense of style (let's face it, you've had some rough moments), but lately you've been hitting all the right notes. We'll be honest, we weren't sure if Kristen would be able to top her dress from the LA premiere of "Runaways," where she rocked a hot pink Doo.Ri dress, which we absolutely loved, but she came pretty close last night by appearing in a strapless, beaded Pucci dress that was youthful but also glamorous. We kind of wish the shoes had been a little more delicate, and we would have loved to see her wearing a touch more jewelry, but overall the look worked well and wasn't overdone. Oh, and we should also note that we definitely liked the slicked back hairstyle (mainly because she finally decided to change it up!).

Yesterday, we noted that Kristen Stewart had insisted that a full-time music career like that of her "The Runaways" alter-ego Joan Jett isn't a feasible option to her now or in the near future. "It could never be fun for me to be a rock star 'cause I'm not one," she said.
However, our exclusive new clip from the movie might prove otherwise. In a black and white striped tee, leather pants and what looks to be a necklace adorned with paper clips, Kristen's Joan emerges from a sulking session on the couch to bust some moves (an, uh, lose her pants) while singing Joan's famous rendition of the song "I Love Rock 'N Roll." So about that "I'm no rock star" thing, Kristen...

With "The Runaways" due out in select theaters Friday, Kristen Stewart is making her rounds to promote the film. Today she stopped by "Live With Regis and Kelly" to talk a bit about her admiration for Joan Jett's rock star persona.
"She has such a distinct voice," Kristen said. "She is on fire. She stares the audience down. I've never seen anything like it and you don't know you can do it until you do it for the first time."

The "Eclipse" trailer stirred up a lot of excitement when it debuted last week, but also brought to light a couple of unforeseen fiascos: the wigs atop both Bryce Dallas Howard and Kristen Stewart's heads.
When MTV had a chance to catch up with Kristen Stewart at the premiere of "The Runaways" in Los Angeles Thursday, she explained that the wig was just the aftermath of her decision to chop off her locks to play Joan Jett.

While to most, the word "acting" might connote reading some lines in front of a rolling camera, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning tried to take the meaning of the word to a deeper level in their upcoming flick, "The Runaways."
Both actresses have asserted they spent plenty of time with the women they were portraying in the film to make sure they got the part right. But when MTV had a chance to catch up with the young stars to talk about the movie, they explained how deep that dedication went.
