Who would have thunk it? "Charlie's Angels" is back in full throttle! According to Variety, the concept that originated in 1976 is set to be picked up by ABC. The same guy who adapted the now-defunct Fox series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," Josh Friedman, is set to write and exec produce.
The original show was a hit for five years starring the late, great Farrah Fawcett. That TV show later was adapted into two films starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore. Let’s think here. What if Farrah Fawcett had never starred in "Charlie’s Angels", what if Diane Keaton took her spot instead? Or Mia Farrow, maybe? All we know is that if Hollywood Crush were around at the time, we would have had something to say about it!
So, with that being said, we thought it would be rather fascinating to create our own casting suggestions for your personal amusement. After the jump, get ready to hit up the HC Casting Couch once again!

It's nearly impossible to chose which dearly departed series we miss more: the heartwarming mother-daughter dramedy "Gilmore Girls" or the savvy Manhattan-centric "Sex and the City." Thankfully, we may not have to chose, as a new HBO series penned by "GG" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino (pictured far right in 2005 with "Gilmore" alums Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel) may allow us to revisit the best of both worlds.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the as-yet untitled series "chronicles the complicated relationship between three adult sisters, all writers sharing the same Upper East Side apartment building, and their mother, a domineering literary lioness who reserves most of her affections for their ne'er-do-well brother."
"It's a story of love, hate, family — and finding the perfect opening line," Amy added.

We already knew she was "Privileged," but red-headed starlet Joanna Garcia is even more so now that she's getting to share screentime on the third season of "Gossip Girl" with Chace Crawford. When MTV News ran into the actress at the launch of Anna Sui's "Gossip Girl" collection for Target, she seemed quite smitten with her leading man. "I mean, if you guys have ever seen Chace Crawford, you know he's got it down like no other," Joanna gushed. "You couldn't find a cooler guy. For everything that he could be, he's that and more. He's gorgeous and a total dude, and we have so much fun together. I was really lucky. It made doing this really kind of sexy show a lot more comfortable having him as my partner."
Wow! Sounds like Joanna's Bree Buckley had so much chemistry with Chace's Nate Archibald that we might see her in more than just the four she originally signed on for — at least she certainly hopes so. "I don't know, maybe I'll come back and cause a little trouble, stir up some naughty business." Press play below to hear more about that from Bree herself!
Unfortunately, when all of your shows return this fall, you'll see that one of Hollywood Crush's absolute faves (and hopefully yours, too!), the CW's "Privileged," is noticeably absent. The show, which starred spunky Joanna Garcia as Megan Smith, the aspiring writer-turned-tutor to two spoiled Palm Beach teen heiresses, didn’t make the cut for the fall season.
So, when Hollywood Crush got the chance to sit down with Joanna to get the scoop on her new "Gossip Girl" gig, we, of course, couldn't help but try to pry information out of her about "Privileged" and what would've happened on our beloved show had it not been canceled. Press play below and continue reading about Joanna's "Privileged" predictions after the jump.
