People magazine has just named Johnny Depp as “The Sexiest Man Alive” meaning the 46-year-old has once again beaten out a whole list of “20-something”-year-old actors/singers/models proving to the whole world that his Jack Sparrow-like charm is not doing anywhere soon. The father of two is a veteran of the award already, having won in 2003. The only other people to ever have won twice have been Brad Pitt and George Clooney, so we think it’s safe to say they belong to a very elite group (we also think it's safe to get the word out there that we want to see of them star in a movie together!).

Basically everything besides Johnny's straight forward charisma is alternative, making him one of the most interesting characters in Hollywood, on top of being the sexiest. His upcoming collaboration with favored director Tim Burton will be reuniting the twosome for their eighth film together, in "Alice in Wonderland." We’re sure the Mad Hatter has never been sexier.

Sure, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may fit the characters of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan like a glove, but what if Stephenie Meyer's vamp classic was written during the high-flying, colorful 1980s? Who would glitter in the sun during the era of John Hughes and the Brat Pack?

Well, that's what we wondered too, which is why we're happy to present "Twilight:" 80's Edition! We've broken out the Adobe Photoshop and decided to cast our favorite "Twilight" characters if the film was made over twenty years ago. Instead of RPattz and KStew, fans could've easily been cheering on the romance of RPhoenix and ASheedy. River Phoenix as Edward Cullen: Before Zac Efron, the Jonas Brothers and...yes, Robert Pattinson...there was River Phoenix. The 80s heartthrob starred in such classic films as "Explorers" and "Stand By Me" before getting nominated for an Oscar at age 18 for his role in "Running On Empty." His promising career was cut short in 1993 when the star was tragically found dead of a drug overdose in Los Angeles. During his heyday, however, he brought just the right amount of brooding sexiness that could fuel the role of Edward Cullen. (Who could share the screen as his Bella? Find out after the jump!) When it comes to Comic-Con, "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" star Anna Faris has something in common with a lot of the show's attendees: she hearts "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.

However, the man who brought Edward Cullen to the big screen isn't the star Faris is most excited to have the chance to rub elbows with during the show. That honor goes to Johnny Depp.

"I am a fan, totally," said Faris when asked if she's a "Twilight" fan. "I haven't met [Robert Pattinson] yet. I want him to give me that eye-smolder." But when we brought up Depp's surprise appearance the show, Faris changed her tune. "That's the one," Faris said of Depp. "I would really like to meet him."

"He probably has not seen 'The House Bunny,'" she joked.

So, which is it? Depp or Pattinson? Weigh in with your thoughts!

Johnny DeppFROM MTV.COM: Johnny Depp surprised fans at the Disney 3-D panel at San Diego Comic-Con by showing up at the end of Tim Burton's presentation of footage from "Alice in Wonderland." Although Depp didn't answer questions, the crowd screamed and cheered when the actor was onstage, the room filling with flashes of cameras.

The shocking addition of Depp to the stage was a great end to the panel discussion, which began with filmmaker Tim Burton getting cheers of his own from the crowd. In a presentation that included a teaser trailer of various footage from the film in 3-D, Burton laughed about all the wacky characters who populate the world of his version of "Alice in Wonderland," including the Mad Hatter, played by Depp; the Red Queen, played by Helena Bonham Carter; and the White Queen, played by Anne Hathaway.

Johnny DeppWe didn't need another reason to swoon over "Public Enemies" star Johnny Depp, but the actor readily gave us one. While in London for the premiere of his gangster flick, Johnny made a visit to Great Ormond Street Hospital to entertain some young patients. And he did it dressed as his "Pirates of the Caribbean" flamboyant alter ego Jack Sparrow.

"Johnny was so friendly with all the children on the ward and they absolutely loved his pirate outfit," a source told Wenn. "He spoke to lots of the youngsters and staff — and made their day by posing for pictures with them all." Read more...

"Public Enemies" actress Marion Cotillard was first whisked onto our fashion radar when she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2008 Oscars in a stunning, mermaid-like creation by Jean Paul Gaultier. Since then, the French beauty has kept our notice by consistently adorning herself in gorgeous gowns and elegant frocks (it probably doesn't hurt either that she, herself, is also naturally radiant!)

But, if you ask Marion how she maintains such a flawless image, she claims she has no idea! "I'm very bad about talking about fashion," she admitted to MTV News during a junket for "Enemies." Though she names Dior designer John Galliano as one of her muses, she insists on giving credit for her look where credit is due: to her stylists. "Fortunately, I have some people who love fashion around me ... I know what I like and I don't like, but I wouldn't be able to choose by myself."

Press play below to hear more about what Marion says about her fashion sense (or, according to her, lack there of). Then after the jump, check out a flipbook of our favorite red carpet looks from the starlet.

Depp He plays one of America's most notorious "Public Enemies" this summer (the crime drama hits box offices on July 1), but Johnny Depp recently gave a very private look into his life off-camera as the cover subject of Vanity Fair's July 2009 issue. "You’ve got all-access," the actor told his interviewer. “Ask me about anything you want." [Um, here's one: Why are you so smoldering all the time? Don't you ever have any off days?]

For the article, Depp and three of his buddies boarded his 156-foot, steam-powered yacht and ventured off to his very own private Caribbean island, the lush Little Hall’s Pond Cay. “I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful," he said of his real estate. "You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It’s instant freedom.” Besides admitting that the island is his way to leave the Hollywood mindset behind ("Escapism is survival to me," he said), Depp also revealed that his favorite relaxation technique is to work with his hands. And no, not in the way you're thinking! "What I love to do is paint people’s faces, y’know, their eyes,” he said. “Because you want to find that emotion, see what’s going on behind their eyes.”

How much money would you pay to see Johnny's paradise? Should he start allowing tours? Are you surprised at how zen he sounds?
